I once had a dentist tell me " I bet your spit taste like honey " the assistant quickly came back with " probably more like venom". That lady is my hero til this day.
You know, I used to hate the swedish dentist I had, constantly making jokes I could only halfway follow because a norwegian teenager in a dentist chair isn't going to be that good at following swedish mumbling. Looking back, I am very glad I had a dentist who wanted to be funny instead of one that was creepy.
How much do we want to bet that the guys who are like "if your gf has male friends, she's cheating on you" are the same guys who complain about being friendzoned because none of their female friends want to have sex with them.
I'm bi and even if I really love my friends (juste like friend but like doesn't sound enough to describe my feelings and don't exist in my mother language) not only I can't see them that way but I think is like dating your brother
You guys complain about the friend zone because their female friends won't have sex with them. But it's probably because their female friends know they're in a relationship and are also friends with the girlfriend. And he's angry that they won't help him cheat on her.
I'm pretty sure they always hit ace videos because it's "asexual" and they target anything with the word s3 x in it. (Just censoring it in case they hit this comment lmao). As always too scared of s3 x even when it's talking about the lack of it.
I mean, it _is_ true that higher level of androgynous (testosterone) on women can cause heavier or longer periods, which is a classic characteristic of Polycystic Ovary Síndrome (POCS). What the post said wasn’t _technically_ wrong, since some of those symptoms listed are characteristic of POCS, but having higher level of andrógenos = being a man???? That dude was just using some surface level medical information with no context to shame women that are not 100% conventionally “feminine” just because of hormonal imbalance, Jesus Christ
yeah, officially he's the straight ally, but I love that it's just not a thing discussed at all. We don't think about his sexuality, no matter what it is now, because it's simply of no importance he's vibing, we're vibing and that is all we need to know
Definitely- He just kinda looks in, goes "Oh, You haven't changed! Keep up the good work!" Then goes off to find a new group to do that to- And the cycle repeats. But Everyone loves when he visits their group
It's giving peak level insecurity. My husband is a chief engineer and manager of a department of all women, like they've painted his nails at work. What am I supposed to make him quit? "OH NO his subordinate texted him about taking the day off but she can't reach HR AND HE DIDNT ASK ME IF THEY COULD TEXT FIRST ADGHSJKFF"!
I think the one at 10:18 is how "this woman always has an excuse to not want to have adult fun time with me" Well, Brad, maybe she wouldn't have to make up an excuse if you took "No" for an answer
Yeah. If your (potential) partner keeps coming up with excuses to not take the relationship to the next level, you're definitely a few steps further into it than they want to be, and you should back off.
Ah I love Sylvia, she does comedy skits like that "pov you're on a date with me" thing all the time and it never fails to make me laugh, she knows exactly what she's doing and it works!
"Girls are only allowed to have friends of the same sex, because if not they're cheating!" The girls who are bi, pan, or any other sexuality that wants to date more than 1 gender: Damn, guess I get no frie-
I go to an incredibly safe school that is against sexism, racism, homophobia, and transphobia. One of my teachers looks like an average guy, with nail polish on. It made me so happy that nobody questioned it, and I really was in a safe environment that had people who didn't stereotype other people. :)
I think we're missing the forest for the trees here, considering that woman said a daughter is a biological co-wife for her husband. Plus OP is right in the sense that once you have a kid, they and their needs should come first.
People always talk like the LGBTQIA+ has some headquarters and functions as an actual organization.Who would the head of the organizations even be?Elton John?
I’ve realized something. Some people’s standards for relationships are all looks and physical appeal, and this leads to marriages that really should have been just hook-ups.
I’m pansexual so this doesn’t really happen to me, as the fact that idc what you are it’s personality. But I’ve seen this in a lot of other people and I understand where that is true
I'm an asexual dude, and used to be a member of a church leadership group that worked with teens. When a student needed a ride home, I offered, approved by their parents, whom I know, and called to verify it was ok. I was reprimanded by the leaders of the group that I, a male, offered a female student under the age of 18 a ride without someone above the age of 18 in the vehicle with me to prove my innocence. Like they assumed I would have done something to A KID THAT I HAD TAKEN CARE OF SINCE EARLY CHILDHOOD. No, the straights are not OK.
Sucks for a few reasons, the first obviously being the one you pointed out, the second being that we (as a species) even *have* to collectively worry about liability issues to that extent, and the third being that someone like you with no ill intentions found themselves reprimanded while so many other cases of grooming in religious spaces often get swept under the rug. :/
No, they are not. As a single dad, I often took other peoples' kids home - and called the parents of the last kid while the next-to-last was getting out of the car. I then had the last kid stay on the phone while I drove. I volunteered to serve, and die if necessary to protect them, but I won't go to jail for them.
I know that was an uncomfortable situation for you, but so many children have been sexually abused by church leadership, no child should ever be alone in a car with a church leader, regardless of gender. That policy was appropriate and should actually be even stricter.
Fun fact: I love my husband. Both of us are bi and have same and opposite sex friends. We usually hug our friends to greet them. Never once have we been sexually attracted to our friends or been upset about the other having friends, because love and trust each other.
Further evidence that people who think being bi “just gives you more options to cheat” should maybe pick better partners for themselves. So many people get so deep into their insecurities and toxic relationships that they think that everyone is out to get them, and they will never find true love with that mindset. I’m glad that you did ❤️
Weird! Some toxic worldview will be shattered! Or, more likely, they will not believe you, and suspect you either cheat all the time or just have not met someone hot enough to cheat with. Or will suspect you are ugly and therefore can't geht anyone to cheat with. So many ways to dismiss honest normalcy and stay toxic. :D
It’s really sad, honestly. My sixth grade math teacher, who, fully supports, wore nail polish last year. It was fun to come in every week and see what new polish he had on. Students in our grade kept calling him gay, even when we explicitly said he has a wife and 3 kids. He helped me through my trans journey, and he helped me become the person I am now. I ran into him today, and noticed his hair dyed blue! I was so excited! We got talking a little, and he showed me his hands… which were bare. He said last year and even this year it made kids uncomfortable. When he was talking, you could see the sadness on his face about how he found out about the rumors. Normalize boys with nail polish, long hair, and dresses. You did it with girls already.
"Normalize boys with nail polish, long hair, and dresses." Unfortunately, people just don't want to see that. They think "You're a boy, but you like pretty things? YOU MUST BE TRANS IN DENIAL! Just transition already or else you're transphobic!" and bully them. It happens to girls who like more masculine things, too.
This is so true, I’ve always wanted to wear nail polish but have been scared of what people will think and I lack the confidence to do it by myself. Someday maybe I will get there.
@@BloodrealmX that’s a good idea, definitely a good place to start, someday, I hope to have the confidence to wear full green on all fingers but idk if I’ll get there
That reminds me of my lecturer in college, he's a "fruity" guy and everyone assumes that he's closeted gay. He's still single and it doesnt help his case. Ig its good that he doesnt tone it down for anyone, but its just sad to see how the stereotype is still there
As an employee at LGBT. Corp (now subsidiary of [not sitting in a chair properly CORP]), I can confirm that we are very much shaking even though it's from laughter. - Max from HR (she/her - can't believe I forgot my pronouns lol)
The woman who threw out her kids Halloween sweets reminds me of the marshmallow test. There was a long term theory that's been accepted by most people that whether the kids ate the marshmallows early or waited was due to a lack of self control. Turns out if you ran it a few times and showed them that's you were willing to go through with the promise and give them the other marshmallow then 100% would wait. They just needed to be able to trust the adult.
Yeah, and how it ignored that kids from low-income backgrounds might not want to wait for a chance to get more food when in there normal lives it is an uncertainty of if/how much they can eat
"Who hurt you... and why have you not grown up enough to get over it" that is the most amazing thing I have ever heard come out of a human being's mouth
"This person. And because it's still hurts. have you ever heard of weather pains or phantom pains? This is the reason I didn't "grown up" enough to... what, get over it, right."
That applies to anyone who could have kids. If I said 'Bi people shouldn't have kids', I'd be shut out of 'normal' society. But you can hate Hetrosexual people and be accepted. Double Standards, no other way to put it.
I hate how many of those men treat relationships the same way you would get a car, shoes, etc. it’s like a transaction to them, and not, you know, love
Maybe they’re gay with internalized homophobia, and feel pushed to relationships they have no love in? Edit: Idk it’s really sucky but hard to address without knowing the cause
I think when people don't like themselves it becomes all too easy to think of relationships as transactional, that you have to do something prove your worth. And then they apply that standard to other people as well rip
@@iwatchthemooooon3002 I think it’s as grossly simple as “this is how it’s supposed to work, therefore this is how it must work, conveniently that just happens to benefit me,”
Honestly, that husband who was a hundred percent willing to go spelunking for that tampon to help his wife is genuinely wholesome considering how most men treat things like that.
I am a transwoman and regularly watch cishet people just full decide to be the problem for no reason other than insecurity. It honestly is fun to watch and sad at the same time
These videos just always remind me of how my parents tried to convince me that 'there is no friendship between men and women, it's always about sex'. When I pointed out the various family friends that come over fairly regularly, my dad said 'that's different, cuz all of us are married already'. Oh how much I wanted to tell either of them to go and touch grass. Seriously.
this gets even funnier wehn you know people who were part of the 68-generation ... like - Once I was told a story how this person as a small boy came into his parents room at niht to found them ... well - having funtime with some family friends ... because for some people that was just normal
@@KaliqueClawthorne honestly that’s also an acceptable way of seeing friends even if you’re already in a relationship. Monogamy isn’t always for everyone
The couple at the end are so adorable. Especially how he's outraged the broke she pastas but still calls her "my love" despite berating her for it. That's so precious.
19:18 "If your pride as a woman will not permit you to submit to a man then forget about marriage. No man wants to marry another man." Me, a lesbian: "I missed the part where that's my problem."
The woman who throws out all the candy is just going to teach her kids to gorge themselves on all the candy on the day they get it so that it doesn't get thrown out... thus making them sick. Great parenting there...
I just love how that one guy, who is convinced any woman with male friends is being intimate with them, doesn't seem to understand that they could be intimate with other women.
imagine being a pastor and admitting in public that you want to break someone's finger because they wear nail polish 😀 like wow, that religion really is about love in the end !
@@joannelewis9231 well you could take testosterone and use beard supplements and see how that goes but I'd run it by your partner also you'd need to give it like 3-5 years to start looking really good
I have coarse facial hair on my face due to a hormonal imbalance when I was a teen. To hear men go on about, "only men have facial hair" makes me realize how much they live under a rock. They dont seem to be aware that PCOS exists.
My mother in law was flabbergasted when my girlfriend hung out with a friend of ours without me because did I really just "trust her like that ???" Which yea, not cheating is literally so easy
17:45 "how dare you call me biphobic just because I said [biphobic thing]?" Anyway, yes, it's completely normal for bi/pan/queer/multisexual people's attraction to go through stages like this (tbh especially if you're trans and/or nonbinary with a fluctuating gender (genderfluid, girlflux, boyflux, etc); for some people their gender can affect how they experience attraction). BPQM people talking about experiences like this should absolutely be normalized and destigmatized. *Just because your gender or sexual/romantic orientation isn't static, doesn't mean it's a "choice" or is somehow less legitimate than static genders and orientations are.* (Also, even if it were somehow a "choice," "choosing" to be LGBTQ+ should be allowed, and shouldn't delegitimize those orientations/genders either, or make it okay to discriminate against or abuse people within those communities... but apparently society still isn't ready for that conversation.)
Wonderful way to put it! I am both bisexual and genderfluid and I definitely feel this way! Some days I feel like I like men more than women, other days the other way round. Sometimes I go between male and female gender and on other days I don't care about gender and don't feel the need to label myself or to be female or male. Thank you for standing up for this side of the LGBTQ community as bisexuality is strangely also discriminated against because people make it seem we can't "pick a side" because we genuinely can't!
FOR ANYONE WONDERING ABOUT THAT VIDEO IN THE BEGINNING ABOUT VOICE FEMINIZATION!!!! the channel is transvoicelessons and she's AMAZGING. The way she explains things is so great and it feels like it isn't going to be a big daunting task!
@@koiifsh Unfortunately I don't there's that many resources for voice masculinization. However, Z's videos (TransVoiceLessons) go over the mechanics behind how we tend to gender voices, and basically doing feminization in reverse will result in a masculine voice. She often says in her videos "doing it this way will result in a feminine voice, and this way will result in a masculine voice." So worst case scenario I'd recommend watching some of her videos to start with. Maybe someone will be able to provide a voice masculinization video
That's also the same channel where the r/egg_irl meme originated, when someone commented on that same video, "I'm just here to voice female D&D characters I swear!" Now that was a funny thread.
18:22 A friend of mine is an ECE (early childhood education) and this was literally the policy somewhere she used to work when a child tries to hug you. I think it would scar the poor child, make them think their unlovable or gross or something, its meant to protect the workers from false accusations of bad touch but talk about overkill
As a Catholic who was raised with a devotion to the Virgin Mary (due to having been afab), the Waria meme had me doubled over with laughter! I had to put my tea down so I wouldn't spill it!
I thought I might be trans but it turns out I'm actually Bi-gender. Something I never would have been able to figure out growing up but thanks to the evolution of society and the buildup of a welcoming accepting community I've not only managed to help myself but helped others who were struggling with LGBTQ identity issues as well.
I'm glad you found the label you feel like fits you best, but I do wanna point out that anytime you identify as a gender that differs from your assigned sex at birth, you are, by definition, trans 💜
@@DasSpaceAce it more or less depends on the label you want. If they don't want to be considered trans, then they aren't trans. If they'd like to be considered trans, then they are trans.
EDIT: The game is called Entropic Float I actually played a game that had a bi-gender character in and he didn’t even realise until a transfem character helped him out with it~ This comment just reminded me of it so much :)
It's always made me so uncomfortable when people proclaim with their WHOLE CHEST that every person views every other person through a purely sexual lens. My first bf had a major jealousy problem, because he thought every dude I interacted with was just waiting to "steal" me from him, and accused me of flirting when I was literally.....just talking to another person in a friendly way. I simply don't see other people this way! I can't help but think that people who have this worldview are projecting hardcore - they see every interaction like this and so they assume everyone else does too. The straights are not okay!!
16:14 for anyone confused, there's an episode of peppa pig where a polar bear kid draws a picture of her family and explains that she has two moms. It's a small scene in a five minute episode that somehow spawned a 45 minute rant from a very angry man.
Won't lie, nailpolish is so pretty on men. I'm not even sure why it just looks so good, subtle eyeliner too I'm 100% for this 'nailpolish November'. You do you guys! Feel pretty! you deserve it!
While I love grunge, grunge ending the glam-rock era was a mistake. I'm a lesbian but even I can admit that male musicians were never prettier than during that era. Its also such a weird thing, that it didn't really established itself in broader community, name me one single Rockstar who wouldn't wear nailpolish, make-up and at least in some stage of their career long hair.
@@aquabluerose7734 I think Emo has kinda make a come back since 2020, at least online. But yeah, I would love a return of glam and general classic rock. I also have to say, as an oldie enjoyer I feel like there is undeniable just a fall in quality and overall hype that music induces since rock musicians stopped dress up like a bunch of queers during a pride parade, its undeniable. I mean, sorry, call me old-fashioned or narrow minded but how am I supposed to take somebody like Ed Sheeran seriously when he is running around like that and hasn't even legally canged his name into a girls name yet? As much as I complained about Grunge before, Kurt Cobain at least had the common decency to run around like a lesbian in public.

Oof. My dad was the same way. I told him "either we don't talk about [these subjects], or I will leave and go home today". I could only do this once I moved out, though. I even took my dinnerplate and ate in my room sometimes when my dad tried to start fights at the dinnertable, and boy did that make him mad! He wanted to bait me into another fight! But my mom wanted a peaceful dinnertime so she wouldn't let him escalate it from there, or let him deny me food. This was a safe strategy for me. The most important thing is keeping yourself safe and protecting yourself from harm and distress. They may just want to see you take the bait, and get stuck in another fight that they can "win". I hate it when people say this about bullies but... if this describes them, don't give them the satisfaction. They're not worth it. There may be a time in the future when they'll be open to listening to you, but now is probably not that time. Keep yourself safe, and hang in there. As an Italian I share the horror reaction of that guy. The way to do it is this: you gotta align the spaghetti vertically inside the pot of boiling and previously salted water and then you twist them with both hands in opposite directions so that when you release them they will fall in a pretty wheel shape. Then, after just a few seconds they will have become soft enough to push em in the water without breaking them. Great content, OT.

So the spaghetti one reminded me of a pretty funny story with me and my grandmother. I was cooking with her about a year or two ago and I tried to break the spaghetti in half, she proceeded to smack the back of my hand and take the spaghetti away. As she was doing all this she noticed my nails which I had painted red and green, she then looked right at me with a stern expression and said “If you’re going to paint your nails like an Italian then you need to cook like one!” Completely went over her head that I actually painted them those colors because it was Christmas Eve… My grandma could care less how you dress or who you’re into but you do not screw up Italian cooking in her household!

I'm a Christian and, yeah, those "don't be alone with the opposite sex" things are absolutely taught in some circles. I heard it plenty because I was a teenager, so it starts well before marriage. Your spouse and family members are the only opposite-sex people you're allowed to be alone with. It's so weird.
Not weird as such, I think. -Just... futile :) "Traditional christian" sexual values demand abstinence and monogamy, so the rules do make sense. They are doomed to fail, though, because biology is stronger than any god we can think up :D Note: I don't condone substituting such rules for good sex ed and contraceptives for teens. Screaming ABSTINENCE at them won't work anyway, so we need to teach them to be careful and respect each other. And married couples really should be able to trust each other.
@@graydanerasmussen4071 Humans are not dogs, and claiming that the human sex drive is stronger than our ability to follow our own morality is actually an incredibly dangerous myth that is a foundational aspect of rape culture. (I know that you're not attempting to condone rape culture or anything, for the record.) The "don't be around people of the opposite sex" rule IS weird, because both you and fundies have a mistaken understanding of humans' capacity of self control. See, if you were right about "biology" being "stronger than any god we can think up", then staying away from people we have potential to be attracted to would be the only possible way to be monogamous or abstinent, at least for allosexual people. But in reality, people who have a healthy understanding of others, regardless of gender, as people; a robust sense of their own morals and the reasons behind them; and practiced self-control as opposed to fear and avoidance, won't have much trouble just not sleeping with people if that would be cheating on a marriage or whatever.
@@Iamtk777 I think you overestimate us humans :) Statistics tells us otherwise, sorry. Consistently, a fair bit of cheating goes on, also in enlightened, otherwise healthy marriages. "It just... -happened!" is the most frequent explanation. And teens? Overwhelmed with new, strong urges, biological imperatives, not to mentioned peer pressure, a sexualized culture ect. I am not saying most people are overcome, but life teaches us that a good few are. Mind, consentual but "immoral" sex is way different from rape! People who give in to a temptation are not equal to people who violate others! Don't we agree that a robust sex ed (including the very sensible advice to wait) in middle and high school, and access to contraceptives, no questions asked, is a good thing? Statistics show that areas with "Abstinence only" sex ed do way worse than more progressive, as far as teen STDs, pregnancies, rape and teen suicides.

You can be super into your crush that is a girl and then a month later when you don't like them you could then be really into one male actor in the show your watching. It can sometimes make you feel like one of these feeling might be fake and you are just either straight or gay. The trick really is to just go with the flow and embracing all your feelings that come up. Every feeling, no matter how long or short, is the fun about being bisexual. We feel people, not gender
But for me it's more like sometimes I want a boyfriend more, and other times I would like a girlfriend more. I don't really have specific people, it's more of a feeling. It's not that extreme as in the post, but it definitely happens for me.
It's almost like humans are capable of 2 (or more) feelings at once! Never been been hungry, but don't want to eat? Or how abt Not hungry, but want food? C'mon I need ppl who don't get this to think a bit harder! (Not OP or anyone here, I mean ppl that don't understand Bisexuality.)

Wow thats gross... Sorry that happend to you.
Makes you think how many in that group have to be creeps for them to be worried about getting caught
Same here, just not married yet :D
Further evidence that people who think being bi “just gives you more options to cheat” should maybe pick better partners for themselves. I ran into him today, and noticed his hair dyed blue! I was so excited! We got talking a little, and he showed me his hands… which were bare. Turns out if you ran it a few times and showed them that's you were willing to go through with the promise and give them the other marshmallow then 100% would wait. They just needed to be able to trust the adult.

BPQM people talking about experiences like this should absolutely be normalized and destigmatized. *Just because your gender or sexual/romantic orientation isn't static, doesn't mean it's a "choice" or is somehow less legitimate than static genders and orientations are.*
(Also, even if it were somehow a "choice," "choosing" to be LGBTQ+ should be allowed, and shouldn't delegitimize those orientations/genders either, or make it okay to discriminate against or abuse people within those communities... but apparently society still isn't ready for that conversation.)

@@shizachan8421 indeed, glam rock needs to make a comeback, and I'll also add that so does 2000's emo. The vibe is just glorious.
I saw a guy do white nail polish with a little shimmer (I think it was a glitter topcoat) and he looked fresh as hell. Nail polish is so flattering
I couldn't agree more, nail polish on guys do lool amazing!
Clearing the house isn't the same as cleaning the house. Her dad timed her going room to room as she rounded corners with a firearm drawn like a one-girl SWAT team.
My sister's boyfriend recently had his nails painted, and he seems to like it. My mom told me that she thought it was weird for a guy to have his nails painted. It wasn't until she said that that I had the strange urge to get my nails painted.
It feels a bit weird to me, but it also feels a bit weird to me when women paint their nails.
@@henryfleischer404 thats odd lol
@@henryfleischer404 at last, equality 💀💀💀
@@henryfleischer404 You hate colors or sumthing?
@@C00K13-Z_9 No. I think it's probably because I've never known anybody who paints their nails. I do like wearing colorful dresses... or at least, dresses with intense colors.
My family has been showing their true colors lately and have been saying increasingly prejudice things and ganging up on me when I don't agree with them or say something "liberal" so this really helped me a little. Thank you, OT.
Oof. My dad was the same way. I told him "either we don't talk about [these subjects], or I will leave and go home today". I could only do this once I moved out, though. And not everybody has the social option to just hit the bricks. In the end, you gotta do what you gotta do to protect yourself. Hang in there.
@@AroundTheBlockAgain Thanks. I’m not old enough to move out so the only thing I can do is stay in my room, but even that seems to make them mad. Hope you’re in a better environment now.
@@Krow_Kid yeah, when my siblings and I stayed in our rooms, our parents demonized us for that, too. But we protected ourselves in this way. We did what we had to do.
And yes, it is such an amazing experience to get out of that kind of situation. For me, living away from them is still like Christmas every day. In fact, I spent this past Christmas with my "adopted" aunties from my queer-friendly church. It was wonderful. Definitely worth it.

As an American, just put it in the water. It will become soft and fully submerge shortly.

You mean the post saying that her tastes fluctuate and lamenting that she doesn't have a choice in the matter?

It’s really aggravating that a concerning amount of people believe that the purpose of life is
“Find sexy object, own or be owned by them by marrying them, reproduce, have your offspring marry and reproduce, continue the family genes”
Toxic evolution
That's literally base survival instinct at work. Also the purpose of "life" as you put it is different to every being in existence; it's like snow flakes you don't get repeats. Seriously look into nature, a majority of wildlife from all corners of the earth normally have this type of goal. Be born, learn the basics of life, eat, drink, sleep, shit, don't die until you can't, shack up with some pretty opposite (or same sex) creature that can produce offspring, have kids, abandon or raise next generation and then die. The raising of your fist after the 'Well guess what preacher?' Was such a badass move. I thought you were gonna say 'try to break these fingers if you think I'm weak.' You're awesome.
Yeah. How bewildering is it that OT can get slapped for having "sexual content" for talking about aces(???) but raise a middle finger in a video? Fortunately, awesomeness happens.
(I know that you're not attempting to condone rape culture or anything, for the record.)
The "don't be around people of the opposite sex" rule IS weird, because both you and fundies have a mistaken understanding of humans' capacity of self control.

With that one post I can definitely relate that bisexuality can seem like it shifts.
This happens to me with lots of characteristics. If I have a crush on someone short, now all the short people are the hottest.
