This is what I found and I got out - I would be prefer to be alone and true to myself than be in a relationship, where I experience that every word and deed is being weighed up.

You may not want to hear this but...there are good people and good relationships to be had...they are out there just like you are out there. The reward comes with the effort.

A mirror of the shallowness that I have felt inside beside I distanced myself from my soul within and allowed the illusion of life to colour my true vision.

We sometimes lose ourselves believing that someone else has to feel a void within - thats when the illusion gains power. Its always an inside job.

I constantly open up and try to go deeper than surface level and try to get away from the transactional aspects but I'm afraid it's not reciprocal. I had already been analyzing and devoting less time to them as of late but this video pretty much reinforced that the group I'm putting the most energy into lacks that true bond. I'm not going to cut them off but rather take a big step back and set boundaries.

Relationship advice from someone who is not married and lives out in the desert. Looking forward to vids with your friends, family in them. I guess everyone has their wisdom to spew. Good luck.

Thanks. Your negative assumptions are interesting...maybe reflect on them..you may learn a lot about how you view yourself. To understand this try watching this video. ua-cam.com/video/GgzFtrgolNc/v-deo.html

Have you read the book: “The value of others” written by Orian Taraban?
In relationships incomparable goods of comparable value are exchanged. The timelines of the unseen settlement may also differ. We would like to think of our relationships as non transactional but unconsciously they still are.
