Gosh im lucky that my parents arent against monster high and things like that, in fact my dad supports me about starting a doll collection 😭
My mom actually likes Frankie lol. I have the OG Frankie (not first release but the OG look) but then when I showed her the Frankie reboot. She said Frankie got ugly lololol
My parents, especially my dad, actually got me into monster high, my dad said it was a miracle they came out because he really wanted to get me into the classic monsters like the universal monsters. Parents who would rather want the barbie monsters reboot are stupid and obviously want their kids to be super girly or have their boys just play with "boy toys" I liked that MH appealed to both boys and girls and those who like this kind of stuff and MH made me feel okay to be both dark and somewhat girly at the same time.
Yes they say (girls)dolls body is unrealistic but don't complain abuot boys action figurs and dolls having so many masuls (sr for my bad writing) and wide chest

My mom actually liked these dolls more than Barbie and she also always liked Draculara so she would get me stuff that had her. She also surprised me with the doll she got me Frankie then Draculara :)
The fact they have international boxes is so reassuring, can't wait to see them in Europe!!! i hope the price won't be too high tho, but i'll be getting them either way lol

Honestly i love clawdeen's freaky flaw about her being hairy. When i was a kid and read it for the first time it was a moment of "Wait... women can have body hair??" for me
And it made sense considering she's a werewolf 😂
I liked it cause it normalized having hair, I have pcos so I have to shave my face daily. As a young adult when these first game out it was refreshing to see I wasn't alone
Wow ive had body hair ever since I remember. I was one of those kids born with a full head of hair that was already a couple inches long. Ive always had hairy legs. Brazilian genes lol

I can’t wait to get Draculaura! She looks super cute! Not sure about Lagoona though - I prefer her original face. Lagoona is my fave though so I’m probably just being picky and will most likely get her anyway to have one in box.
Same the different lagoona face kinda disappointed me since she is my childhood favorite but I get it it can’t look exactly alike I am still going to getting all of them because I only ever got the original draculaura

Fun fact: My cousin's Clawdeen lost one of her legs and we got in contact with the store. They actually sent the doll to be repaired!

As a transmasc, monster high really helped me with feeling better about myself. Seeing all these freaky fabulous monsters embracing their own quirks really spoke to me in a more personal way. I cant explain how happy i am that they’re coming back. Seeing the creeproductions makes my heart grow x10 more 😭

@@Alex-ko1lm exactly! No matter what you do in your life, people will always find something to invalidate your gender. So screw them, do what makes you happy and buy the dolls! (Also there's so many cismen who also collect and enjoy dolls, liking dolls isn't just for girls 🤷🏽♂️)
All I'm asking is that the Reboot Ghoulia and Spectra. These are very important characters that are apart of the ghoul squad and I want them back. My personal opinion on these dolls is that they look great!! I'm very impressed, I can't wait to get my gremiln paws on them. But, I'm a little sad the slogan is changing, Freaky just got Fabulous is a slogan that makes me feel confident, not Caring about what other people think about me, hopefully this new slogan will do the same thing for me.
Also, I hope they bring back Abby, Clawd, and Howleen(as a teen bc the reboot had her as a younger child). I hope they start doing more with the mansters bc they got no attention in the past

These dolls look great, but honestly, I've thrifted over 60 MH ( I started getting them in 2017). So I don't need more of the basic gang. I wanted them to release Ghoulia, Cleo and Deuce.
I Will love an Abby, Ghoulia and Spectra reproductions, they are so pretty
hearing about the elastic band hips of the first release dolls made me realize that i actually have a first release draculaura that i got at a thrift store!! so cool to find that out even if she's not in great condition
I'm honestly so happy that MH is back and their releasing a new line, I miss goin down the aisle when I was like 5 or 6 in Smyths Toys Super Stores where the dolls used to be up the ceilin! I honestly love draculaura, she so adorable 🥺 and I REALLY want her. I like frankie' hair like the way it's kinda wavy, her face design is a bit better than lagoona's which I kinda don't really like.

I am beyond excited for these creeproductions. That was one thing I didn’t like about the OG dolls was the glue seepage and the paint coming off.
I’m so glad they are re-releasing the originals! My 5 y.o. daughter loves Monster High dolls and is always begging me to let her play with my MH dolls that I have on display in a cabinet. After learning that the original dolls had issues with the elastic bands breaking and their legs falling off (which I did not know about because mine have been displayed and never played with), I’m glad mine are shut away. We have bought MH dolls for her (some new, some used) and there were a few of mine that were later releases that I had not displayed that I let her have. Now (once they are released in stores) she’ll be able to have her own “originals.” She’s so excited!
I'm so happy! I've been a fan of monster high but never got any dolls due to financial stuff when I was younger but now I'll finally be able to get them without them being $100+ on eBay 😭💖

I had completely missed out on the original dolls for various reasons, so I'd love the chance to have a Draculara and hopefully a Spectra! I'm hoping to start my own doll collection as an adult (starting with Heather Grey from Shadow High), and it'd be an unexpected joy to actually have an OG MH doll in that lineup!
I missed the initial run of MH. My first doll was a Casta Fierce I got on clearance at a Walmart for $7. I'm so dang excited to get my hands on this creeproduction line! Hoping we'll see Cleo and Ghoulia too!

Wow, they look pretty awesome! Recently, I've been putting a lot of my time into character design and style, and I've been thinking: what if the MH dolls were designed to be more mature and with a wider range of styles in mind? They're great already, but I'd also love to see Draculaura wearing a full gothic lolita coordinate or a cybergoth Frankie. And Clawdeen would rock a pair of Demonia sneakers! It's very unlikely to happen, but I'll let myself dream (and maybe make some concept art along the way)…
I like the repro draculauras screening much better, it looks much like the haunt couture Draculaura, minus the eyelashes, which is what made her the most visually appealing to me and why she’s the only one I bought lol
I feel like MGA is too focused on Rainbow High and LOL Surprise that they didn't really give enough effort to the quality for their Bratz.
Also I loved Bratz because they showed more ethnicity in characters when I was growing up, but I'm a goth girl and I LOVE a good horror story so when Monster high came out I was proud and happy that Mattel of all companies could represent a doll that catered to horror and creepy urban legends. Though I'm no longer a collector I am happy be apart of the community and I love watching your vids!!💜🧡

Freaky is fabulous! I wish parents didn't chuck up such harmless details as inapproriate or concerning. I wasn't allowed to have Monster high when they first came out because my own mother had those misconceptions. The reality of it was she just didn't want to do the work of researching about what monster high stood for and judged the ghouls and student disembody for a bunch of scary monssters with "weird" body prportions. But that didnt stop me! Monster high has made me a more excepting and loving person and i will never take that for granted. MH for Unlife.

I will try to get Lagoona, she is the hardest to find complete and here in Brazil, some folk is even 3D printing her accessories.
I have an original Lagoona I bought second hand and she still missing certain things so having a new wave for her is very welcome.
Lagoona, Ghoulia, Cleo, and Deuce always ended up getting the short end of the stick and we have WAY too many Draculaura, Frankie, and Clawdeen, it wasn't even necessary to re-release them, there are still a lot on the market in their boxes.
I hope Mattel goes international with these dolls, many people that were kids that are now adults will probably want to have these dolls since it was “not for them“ back in the day.
I do regret not getting many of them back in the day, to be honest, and I did miss out on Ghoulia(thankfully I've got a complete doll with me with all her accessories) and Lagoona.

This isn’t Mattel trying to compete with Bratz. They’ve been trying to get Monster High back up off the ground since 2019, but the pandemic slowed the process. Meanwhile MGA has been coasting on the success of LOL OMG and Rainbow High so getting Bratz up and running again was not as difficult or time-consuming. These releases happening now are just coincidence.

Nostalgia will make them money! I know I'll be scooping them up. I never got to have lagoona or clawdeen in 2010. And the dolls I do have were played with. I love that the packaging is so similar to the original packaging. I might get a couple for my little sisters as well. Can't wait for them to come to Canada

The creeproductions look great! I'm not really interested in owning these ones since I'm bored of seeing their basic outfits, lol. i would totally get holt if they re-released him, though! i don't think KBLOOD is a reference to k-pop, just the radio station name that the students often listened to. Since there's a heart on the May 26 cassette, I assume that has something to do with Drac and Clawd's dating anniversary!
That is exactly what I thought when I saw the same fashions from 2010. I thought they should have released all new fashions for the return of Monster High. They already released four versions of the 'original' fashions; 2010, 2014, the 6 doll giftset and the Ghouls Alive line.
I personally like the repros because they no longer have the wonky eyes like the original

As a huge Bratz collector, I love the competition. I heard it from someone, but they stated it’s what drives companies to produce great products. And nostalgia is popular right now so why not? I’m definitely getting these when they come out

I actually got the 2015 reproduction doll of Cleo since I really wanted her OG look. I felt it was the most iconic look of hers, plus it had more of a mummy vibe than most of her other looks.
Honestly, I loved it, though I did wish that she had better shoes and not just the og sculpt painted all gold.
Draculaura and Lagoona were always my favorite and I always wanted the original ones. Might just have to pick them up!
I want Luna Laguna!!! Her little fish purse is so cute I’d love to get my hands on her! I didn’t grow up with monster high but I did watch a handful of episodes and a movie from them.

So just want to put this out there as well, series 4 Rainbow High has officially dropped names and pictures! This series includes a doll with vitiligo, an albino doll, an Indian/Hindu doll with mendi, and a Japanese doll!!! Loving the inclusion this series has brought to Rainbow High!

I don’t think that one is Albino, she doesn’t have red eyes or super white skin. I think she just is very blonde.
@@ollieno971 when she first leaked, she was said to be albino. That may not be true anymore though. In the original leak all that was visible was extremely pale skin and white lashes, that may be why she was said to be albino. But yeah totally could be wrong.

Specifically California a week before the dolls go public and i received money from my confirmation so i'm putting some aside for Draculaura. I love the fact the og dolls are being rereleased for new monster high fans but I'm kinda of upset that Mattel removed the freaky flaws from the back of the box

as an original fan I am super hexited to see them back, I've been collecting them since I can remember, but most of my dolls got thrown out when I moved out of my dad's house last year! they were my childhood my first love and the reason I found out I'm not straight at all. soon as I see them in my stores, I'm getting my claws on em , 100%! thank you for giving us all so many updates on these dolls' ghoulfriend!

The first round still looks nicer, but these reproductions definitely look a lot better than the reboot. Now, to wait until a store near me actually gets them in!
Monster High was my childhood, and I’m so sad that my destructive kid self destroyed these dolls 😭😭😭 I’m so getting these reproduction dolls to have a “second chance”, in a way. And now that I’m older, I appreciate these dolls a lot more, and will take better care of them than as a kid.
