Thanks for showing the saw drawer. Kevin only had 11:18 the left one so I wrote and asked about the right one. He made some that night and I ordered both. He also praised you for helping him by showing his product. Thanks again, Keith
I bought one of those thin rip jigs a while back. I forgot I even had it. I was ripping some thin strips a few days ago using my old method of cut, let the strip fire back and hit the back wall, pick it up and repeat. Then I remembered I had that tool. That tool worked slicker than owl snot. 👍
The other option for that is the Microjig Gripper or Milescraft GrabberPRO push blocks, which have legs as thin as 1/8" so you have total control of thin rip fence method push-throughs.
I have been using a coin for the bottom on my work for years and the simple way is to have the coin made to 1-1/2" and use a Forstner bit on the Drill press to make the hole in your work. done!
Yeah that's what I was thinking. That's one of those "what you get for the guy who has literally everything" type products. Might be handy if you had to do a ton of them or for some reason you needed to change a bearing while someone else was using the router but I reached way out there to come up with those lol
Love the saw/drawer idea! In fact, I love it so much that I built one for myself ....out of wood .....3 years ago ..... and I used the full 78" length of the beam. SEVENTY EIGHT INCHES ...... now THAT'S a drawer!
The patented intro slide and rolls, the hip thrust, so many reasons to subscribe and keep you coming back oh yeah he does woodworking and makes Craig sand lol. Then there’s the bourbon.
I've watched a number of your videos and I think you are a good presenter. I understand that you are trying to put some humor into your presentation and as far as I am concerned, you do one fine job of meeting your goals. Steve
I would go with the Pica Dry lineup instead of those Tracer pencils. Lots more options, refills are cheap and readily available, and proven by multiple fields to be very well worth it
Been meaning to build a thin-rip jig but after seeing demo this jig. l just used your link and made the purchase on Amazon. Very good price and looks like a well made too. I like the accurate measuring capability and the ease of use. Thanks from No CA :) Larry
Just got my Bourbon blade. It is awesome. Highly recommend. I have never been a knife guy. But now that i have this folding chisel I use it alllllll the time.
You forgot "a ton of fine sawdust that somehow ended up in there even though the drawer is always closed when you're cutting". I still think it's a neat idea though.
medallion maker branding is like challenge coins for Makers, with that being said you should sell the coins themselves BUT make them different than the ones you use on your projects so someone can't add it and claim you made it
After buying WAY too many kitchen gadgets in my lifetime, I've developed a fairly simple heuristic for deciding whether to purchase a gadget/tool: I don't buy tools that only do one thing, unless I do that thing a lot. Like, a LOT. So I'm looking at that thing in the description labeled "router bit vice" and thinking... couldn't I just use one of the several less-specialized vises I already have? WHY, YES. YES, I COULD. That said, I do have a thin rip jig, and it is super useful. Oh, and that 3D printed drawer for the fence rail? Pure genius. (Just got a new saw with a proper Biesemeyer fence, and it's already cluttered up with pencils, tweezers, and-of course-the wrench for changing saw blades. INTO THE DRAWER THEY WILL GO.)
They actually hold up fairly well considering they're under $5. There's no reason to really use one for nuts and bolts often if you have a basic socket set. However, they are amazing for eye hooks, cups hooks, L hooks etc.
Thanks for this... especially the book recommendation. My daughter is 9 1/2 too... if it's great for you, it'll be awesome for us too. Thanks and merry Christmas!!!!
Bummed out that i couldnt use the Bourbon Moth discount link for the isotunes earbuds because it wouldnt ship to Canada for some reason but I love the recommendations and im getting the thin rip jig for sure. Thanks for all the great videos this past year.
Nice to see you promoting small business people making innovative things with 3D printers and laser engravers like the table saw drawer and medallions. Elon Musk thinks people will want a $50k robot in every house, but I think a much more useful addition to any home would be a simple 3D printer and/or laser machine. You can make so many things yourself with them, and make them custom to whatever your need is. And they're a lot cheaper than a $50k robot that doesn't exist yet!
@@GSMIDALIVE yes and otherwise, it's just a combination of custom and commercial tool holders. It mainly just looks so pretty because the backer is nice and he put a lot of work into layout and making it pretty.
The link on this page for the router bit vice actually goes to "HFM- 14mm Square Corners Carbide Inserts 4 Edges 14mm*14mm*2mm (Length*Width*Thick) 30°Angle 10 pcs".
If you sell your bourbon blades to uk customers, you should put on the box its a chisel not a blade otherwise it may get taken away before delivery as we have weird laws on what blades we can have
The tablesaw storage box is a great idea. But it would be a little bit better if he printed a little overhang on the top inside of the cover to prevent sawdust falling directly inside of the box. Because now there is always a little gap.
Why no tense relationship with Craig this year? I particularly appreciated the robot that served Craig more whiskey than it served you last year. The bitter elf was also pretty cool.
isotunes have great products, but I got the Klein 25dB bt ear protection cause I wanted USB-C, otherwise I would have gotten isotunes. USBC charges my phone, a laptop if I had one, my other headphones, my bt speaker, my vape, etc.
That was entertaining! I like your blade best of all. In keeping with the Christmas spirit, maybe you could diy a Christmas tree... I know there are a ton of them out there, but you could put your spin on it.
Any chance you could make plans for a set of night stands that are large enough to fit an oxygen concentrator inside one and the base speaker for an entertainment audio set up in the other?
I'm curious about your feels on switching from SawStop to Powermatic for a table saw. As much as I'd like the new table coating I like knowing my fingies are safe more.
Yep, thin rip jig, have one don't use it. Just use my Radial Arm saw only need board buddies and a push stick no adjustments nessary On the saw or fence.
It's called Formica Compact. You have to email them and get contact info for a local distributor. It's a commercial product not sold in retail stores. I got it quoted, if you're curious. The 3/4" stuff is over $25/sq.ft., making a 4'x8' sheet over $800.
I know it wasn’t technically part of the list, but what was the router bit you used to show the bit vise? I couldn’t find anything that looked like it on bits and bits.

Any Patreon's out there who read these comments, please suggest to Jason to add an official Bourbon Moth Glencairn glass with his logo on them. Those would be nice gifts for the bourbon drinker
Maybe a stupid tip.... When ripping very thin pieces I place a piece of the brown paper packing tape (paper not plastic) over my blade slot then raise the blade through that. I've done it for years and it keeps crap from falling through the gap while not causing any other issues. Doesn't keep stuff from shooting back at you, you'll only make that mistake once.
nice ideas , too bad its hard to find formica here unless youre a profesional builder the price of the product might have sumting to do with it i couldve used the solid top for a router/saw/glueup table setup
Hola amigo m gusta mucho tu trabajo me gustaría que hablar un poco más despacio por favor solo un poco jajaja de antemano muchas gracias amigo por tu gran apoyo gracias

I tried woodworking with kids once..........
They're a bit squishy when you use them as a hammer 🤪🤪
Agreed! But their little fingers make great push sticks, just saying…
You're using the wrong end.

The collet on my router makes a great router bit vise, too.
Yeah that's what I was thinking.

Purchased my Bourbon Blade today. I've learned so much from watching this channel. It was the least I could do for the knowledge that has been shared.
I would go with the Pica Dry lineup instead of those Tracer pencils. Lots more options, refills are cheap and readily available, and proven by multiple fields to be very well worth it
Pica is best.
I need a mini Bourbon blade! Same thing but half the size would be amazing
Been meaning to build a thin-rip jig but after seeing demo this jig. l just used your link and made the purchase on Amazon. Very good price and looks like a well made too. I like the accurate measuring capability and the ease of use. Thanks from No CA :) Larry
that table saw drawer is frikin genius...good lord how have we not thought of that
I needed something completely different, but Thank You for the inspiration!
i got the Goingmake thin rip jig a few months ago....quality piece for the price and works perfectly
Old Forester 1897 is amazing bourbon. Great value.
Yes, it’s safe to say Merry Christmas 🎉
😀😀 vừa diễn vừa tả thật tuyệt vời 😊 chúc mừng 🎉🎉
Just got my Bourbon blade. It is awesome. Highly recommend. I have never been a knife guy. But now that i have this folding chisel I use it alllllll the time.
Where is the Christmas elf I miss him😅😁
Clamps!!! Please, I need more clamps!!! 😄
nice I'm excited to store pennies and insects and string and maybe a small pinecone in my table saw fence rail
You forgot "a ton of fine sawdust that somehow ended up in there even though the drawer is always closed when you're cutting". I still think it's a neat idea though.
😅

Love that glass and table saw storage piece 😊. God Bless 😊

I have this thin rip jig and I am seeing this on a number of you tube channels. I also order a double roller one to see how it works.
Good ideas.
Bourbon Blade is my favorite carry. I got first batch, but kinda wondering if I can tell my wife it's what I want for christmas, so I have two.
Some really good items brilliant.
Great ideas.
I’ve heard the universal sockets are not good. The pins bend overtime they end up not working really fast, but that’s just hearsay
They actually hold up fairly well considering they're under $5. There's no reason to really use one for nuts and bolts often if you have a basic socket set. However, they are amazing for eye hooks, cups hooks, L hooks etc.
Donut tested them. Terrible.
Your temporary shop is still nicer than mine.
I gotta step up my shop game.
Thanks for this... especially the book recommendation. My daughter is 9 1/2 too... if it's great for you, it'll be awesome for us too. Thanks and merry Christmas!!!!
I love a bunch of these, and have some 😂 included to the Bourbon Blade! Love ya dude, keep it up
Bummed out that i couldnt use the Bourbon Moth discount link for the isotunes earbuds because it wouldnt ship to Canada for some reason but I love the recommendations and im getting the thin rip jig for sure. Thanks for all the great videos this past year.

Nothing like a stiff drink and watching burpinmoth!
whole ad, cool
Someone needs to take that pencil idea and add a beveled collar to make it self-centering like a self-centering drill bit.
Love your tool wall, so much better looking than French cleats. Can you show us how you built that wall?
He took the doors out of his old shop and put them in this one. You can see it in his small shop build videos
@@GSMIDALIVE yes and otherwise, it's just a combination of custom and commercial tool holders.

Gonna grab the thin rip tool, but I'm most curious about how you have your sacrificial fence set up.
Jason! Let's freaking go!😂
Old Forester BIB is a favorite and a bargain. I'm out currently. Thanks for the reminder!
The link for the router bit vice isn't correct
That's a very colorful Moth. LOL
17:25 I remember the Mr. Chips book like this from way back
If you sell your bourbon blades to uk customers, you should put on the box its a chisel not a blade otherwise it may get taken away before delivery as we have weird laws on what blades we can have
I knew this video was for me.
The tablesaw storage box is a great idea. But it would be a little bit better if he printed a little overhang on the top inside of the cover to prevent sawdust falling directly inside of the box. Because now there is always a little gap.
Router bit vice link takes you to a different item. Looks like blades for a helix head.
Why no tense relationship with Craig this year? I particularly appreciated the robot that served Craig more whiskey than it served you last year. The bitter elf was also pretty cool.
That little storage thing in the end of your saw fence seems awesome. Most people would totally forget they even put anything in there.
isotunes have great products, but I got the Klein 25dB bt ear protection cause I wanted USB-C, otherwise I would have gotten isotunes. USBC charges my phone, a laptop if I had one, my other headphones, my bt speaker, my vape, etc.
Not sure about other products, but the charging case for the Free is usb-c
That was entertaining! I like your blade best of all. In keeping with the Christmas spirit, maybe you could diy a Christmas tree... I know there are a ton of them out there, but you could put your spin on it.
wondering I need help Jason what Bourbon would you pair with Walnut, White Pine, or pressure treated lumber or would that be to classy.
Any chance you could make plans for a set of night stands that are large enough to fit an oxygen concentrator inside one and the base speaker for an entertainment audio set up in the other?
Saludos desde España hace mucho tiempo que no subes contenido en Español
Shameless plug of that bourbon moth chisel when showing the medallions lol
No bourbon elf! That’s it, thumbs down and unsubscribing. 😂😂😂 Maybe he’ll make a surprise appearance between now and 2025.
Just got my Bourbon Blade. I'm a Texan, but have never carried a knife (I know)! That has changed now. I love it!
Hi I really love your show you really do a Beautiful job you and your family and friends have a Happy Thanksgiving ok 🙏 love Lorilee xoxoxoxox 🙏
I'm curious about your feels on switching from SawStop to Powermatic for a table saw. As much as I'd like the new table coating I like knowing my fingies are safe more.
The powermatic seems like a downgrade
aren't most router bits either 1/4 or 1/2 inch? what are all of the other holes for?
Completely off topic here, I've always been interested in what brand flannels you buy?
All I want for Xmas is more Festool or Makita XGT power tools plus 100 Bourbon blades. I need a backup for a backup for a backup.
how do u shapen your bits ?
Where do you get the black table top?
2:56 Why not just leave in router??
Yep, thin rip jig, have one don't use it. Just use my Radial Arm saw only need board buddies and a push stick no adjustments nessary
On the saw or fence.
I am surprised you didn't have some chomps in the table saw storage box from KP
So...how do you order Formica Compact from their website?
Still wanna know where you got that 3/4 formica material for your tables. I cant find anything online or local
Is Rubio a food safe product?
Old Forester, 1897? I'd have given you the full twenty.
Wish this video had come out before Canada Post went on strike, I don't know if I would get anything I order right now
Cool
Is the solid surface Formica actually called "Compact"? On their site that's a laminate you apply.

@@thetoolman3 Yikes! A bit pricy for shop-surfaces IMO. I'd stick with melamine.
Thin rip jig!! Thank you. Been wondering how I'd do that!
Did the elf follow you to the garage?
My fiance got up halfway through the video....but she did catch the bourbon blade and thin rip jig.
Looks good but I'm getting old and would put the jigs away and it would be 6 months before I found them again. Just sayin
Can you start offering sweatshirts without hoods?
Any Patreon's out there who read these comments, please suggest to Jason to add an official Bourbon Moth Glencairn glass with his logo on them. Those would be nice gifts for the bourbon drinker
Amazon has the thin rip guide on sale for 33% off list
Really nice tool, is this made in the USA? thats a key selling point!
$40 Medallion Maker Branding. 😮😂😂😂😂😂
Early upload I'm laaaate GG

Great review, great recommendations. But I came away with one question: Why is your saw table top black?
Powermatic new “armor glide”
nice ideas , too bad its hard to find formica here unless youre a profesional builder
the price of the product might have sumting to do with it
i couldve used the solid top for a router/saw/glueup table setup
What does the supervisor want for Christmas?
Bourbon? No problem. Diluted Whiskey? No thank you.
Hola amigo m gusta mucho tu trabajo me gustaría que hablar un poco más despacio por favor solo un poco jajaja de antemano muchas gracias amigo por tu gran apoyo gracias
What no safety glasses when ripping on the table saw?????
Bourbon Moth recommends Whiskey? Why not Bourbon? 🤔
Always enjoy watching a tool review.
A universal socket? 🤔 Too bad gator grip didn’t think of that 20+ years ago
