Caroline, as a 40 year old wife and mother I can honestly say you have changed my life. I started doing your workouts about six months ago as a supplement to therapy for complex childhood trauma and CPTSD. I have always had a hard time getting through workouts because of flashbacks and panic attacks when my cortisol levels are raised. I don't know what it is about your approach but I have gotten through two full programs and am on my third. My therapist attributes a huge amount of healing I have done recently to this physical addition in my process. I am mentally stronger and can get through a workout without any tears or flashbacks now. The changes to my body are nice, but the changes to my mind have literally altered my life and have made me more whole. I cannot thank you enough for these programs, you have made an incredible difference in my quality of life.

I have a similar story. I went to therapy but started working out for aesthetic reasons, but it ended up healing a lot of my CPTSD. Strength training with CG, journalling and EMDR have been life saving for me.
@@eskulmo I was just going to comment about EMDR and Flash Technique (a wonderful , painless newer addition to the EMDR world) as being great for actually trauma processing that works well (I'm an EMDR therapist and consultant:) I do think Caroline's workouts and her sensible approach and style is such an important piece to even some grounding for people and I always recommend exercise to people for their mental health :)

After watching me do your workouts at home for two years and make a ton of progress, my husband finally quit the gym and started doing them as well. He tried to go back to the gym once recently and hated it because he just couldn’t move thru as fast having to wait for equipment. We are a CG family!
I was teary-eyed and emotional at the end…it was a blessing that we have found you during the pandemic. You have greatly affected all of our lives in a positive way. I am still a work in progress but training with you that is now a habit is the biggest progress I have made in last 2 years. Awe the end where she talks about training alone I feel that in my soul! I train alone too and it definitely sucks but being here gives me so much motivation and drive I seriously don’t think I would have kept at it for so long if it wasn’t for her and the wonderful people in the community I’ve met along the way. Some like Iron and Advent several times. Always a challenge as we are 62 and 64 but has kept us sane and fit throughout these difficult years. I came across your videos and started the 24 days of Christmas and since completed it, now I'm starting Iron. I love your videos, my husband has commented on my big arm guns and my tree trunk muscle thighs, my 19 years old son often tells me he is proud of my muscle and how strong I am and that his co-workers are a little imtmidated by such a short woman with muscles my size (i'm 44 btw and 4"7) . I love that you are not tring to sell anything or distract people with talking, like other exercise programs I have tried. Again thank you so much for coming into my house, making me move, lift weight and, being proud of what I can do and showing me that no matter my size or what is going on in my life (I'm an Educational Assistant, so strength is important) that I CAN DO IT! I am working towards doing a full pushup, not quite there. I feel so good doing weight workouts with you and it is refreshing to see someone real vs ego driven. Im watching the end of this and I’m a bit teary eyed. I, like many people, have major depressive disorder. I cannot tell you how much you have helped my mental health the last 7 months since I’ve discovered you Caroline. Working out with you every week has drastically improved my mood and mental health. I love how strong and energetic I feel after every workout. I’m proud of how strong I have become. The last 4 weeks I’ve had a lot of personal issues that have caused a major dip in my mental health. I stopped working out, I stopped cooking healthy meals for myself, I stopped caring for myself. This video and your message at the end has reminded me how you have essentially saved me from myself. Your video today has reminded to get back to taking care of myself. You have given me confidence, strength, and the ability to love myself that no one has given to me in a long time. I love how you take the pressure off improving your health and fitness. As someone who battles with weight gain linked to polycistic overies/genetics, a lot of conventional diets and advice just doesn't work for me, which has really affected my self-esteem. But only a few days into your EPIC series and just focusing on eating mainly good healthy food and I already can see the difference in my strength and muscle mass, especially in my upper body, despite having already been working out for months. You're such a sensible role model for many of us - thank you for all that you do!

Hey I'm almost the same as you! Turning 32 soon & also think that I will probably be 35 by the time I've done everything on this channel 😂 Seems such a long term goal to me but love that it is something that I can actually work on little by little almost every day, instead of it just being a "maybe when I have time I'll do it" "dream". Caroline, as a 40 year old wife and mother I can honestly say you have changed my life. I started doing your workouts about six months ago as a supplement to therapy for complex childhood trauma and CPTSD. I have always had a hard time getting through workouts because of flashbacks and panic attacks when my cortisol levels are raised. I don't know what it is about your approach but I have gotten through two full programs and am on my third. My therapist attributes a huge amount of healing I have done recently to this physical addition in my process. I am mentally stronger and can get through a workout without any tears or flashbacks now. The changes to my body are nice, but the changes to my mind have literally altered my life and have made me more whole. I cannot thank you enough for these programs, you have made an incredible difference in my quality of life.

I have a similar story. I went to therapy but started working out for aesthetic reasons, but it ended up healing a lot of my CPTSD. Strength training with CG, journalling and EMDR have been life saving for me.
@@eskulmo I was just going to comment about EMDR and Flash Technique (a wonderful , painless newer addition to the EMDR world) as being great for actually trauma processing that works well (I'm an EMDR therapist and consultant:) I do think Caroline's workouts and her sensible approach and style is such an important piece to even some grounding for people and I always recommend exercise to people for their mental health :)

After watching me do your workouts at home for two years and make a ton of progress, my husband finally quit the gym and started doing them as well. He tried to go back to the gym once recently and hated it because he just couldn’t move thru as fast having to wait for equipment. We are a CG family!

I train alone too and it definitely sucks but being here gives me so much motivation and drive I seriously don’t think I would have kept at it for so long if it wasn’t for her and the wonderful people in the community I’ve met along the way. How are you doing? Enjoying the workouts? I am mixing workouts from different programmes and I am loving it. Highlights for me this week were lower body dynamic and isometrics from epic 3 and today's kettlebell session from kick ass kettlebell series - I did day 3 and 5, so 1 hour of kettlebell fun!

I came across your videos and started the 24 days of Christmas and since completed it, now I'm starting Iron. I love your videos, my husband has commented on my big arm guns and my tree trunk muscle thighs, my 19 years old son often tells me he is proud of my muscle and how strong I am and that his co-workers are a little imtmidated by such a short woman with muscles my size (i'm 44 btw and 4"7) . I love that you are not tring to sell anything or distract people with talking, like other exercise programs I have tried. You are absolutely the Best! I am so blessed to have found your workouts. For years I trained doing Taebo and it became too much so often stopped . But with you I have kept going. I enjoy every minute although at times I feel like giving up but your smile inspires me to push. I am 44 and for first time in my life my body is shaping to what I want. I really appreciate that she really motivates you to do what's best for you. Not everyone is the same, not everyone has the same body type or mindset. Just challenge yourself and you will see progress. Set realistic goals and most importantly live your life and don't let the goals be your life.

When Caroline said life is short when we get blinded by superficial goals as Im just now realizing it’s so common to be fixated on the things we see in the mirror compared to how we felt in the beginning of the journey. I hear you!! It is crazy how I thought I knew the formula for my body when I wanted to drop fat, gain muscle and how now it doesn't work like that all. BUT I still train and of course I still get results, they are just different now.

Im watching the end of this and I’m a bit teary eyed. I, like many people, have major depressive disorder. I cannot tell you how much you have helped my mental health the last 7 months since I’ve discovered you Caroline. Working out with you every week has drastically improved my mood and mental health. I love how strong and energetic I feel after every workout. I’m proud of how strong I have become.
The last 4 weeks I’ve had a lot of personal issues that have caused a major dip in my mental health. I stopped working out, I stopped cooking healthy meals for myself, I stopped caring for myself.
This video and your message at the end has reminded me how you have essentially saved me from myself. Your video today has reminded to get back to taking care of myself.

I love how you take the pressure off improving your health and fitness. As someone who battles with weight gain linked to polycistic overies/genetics, a lot of conventional diets and advice just doesn't work for me, which has really affected my self-esteem. But only a few days into your EPIC series and just focusing on eating mainly good healthy food and I already can see the difference in my strength and muscle mass, especially in my upper body, despite having already been working out for months. You're such a sensible role model for many of us - thank you for all that you do!

Turning 32 soon & also think that I will probably be 35 by the time I've done everything on this channel 😂 Seems such a long term goal to me but love that it is something that I can actually work on little by little almost every day, instead of it just being a "maybe when I have time I'll do it" "dream". Working out helps me become overall more consistent I think.
