THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABOUT BONE DENSITY!!! I’m 25 with full blown osteoporosis. Years of under eating and over training. MOST of my training was strength training, and my diet was high in protein, but low in calories. Unfortunately, you can’t build enough bone if you’re under eating, regardless of how conscious you are of protein and strength training, because women stop producing sufficient estrogen when they are underfed. Hence why osteoporosis is so prevalent in menopausal women, it’s the low estrogen. Also, I was taking birth control throughout this entire period of my life, but AGAIN, nothing can compensate for being underfed. Progesterone is also NECESSARY for building bone, and unfortunately the pill does not contain real progesterone, only fake progestins. I hope this helps anyone who is struggling - I would give ANYTHING to go back and save myself, my quality of life is nothing compared to what it was, and I still have not gotten my period back 3 years later. My ovaries just … stopped working. Eat more, lift more, and ENJOY LIFE more!!
You can reverse the osteoporosis. I know because I did it and I am 52! I eat well, sleep properly, do weights and a min of 10k steps a day. I also did Osteostrong once a week and still do it.
Yes! My seven sacraments of health are mindfulness, healthy food, movement, gratitude, community, nature, and rest!!! I love this lady, follow her channel. She’s pure inspiration.

YOU ARE AMAZING! Your story is very inspiring. This stranger is so proud of you for your hard work and tenacity. I hope you live a long and very happy life! THANK YOU for your service!
You could have a zoom class or utube video for females veterans who served or anyone interested in how you overcame ptsd...maybe a daily exercise live video ....that would inspire others who have endured alot.
10 mins in nature is good for the soul. Walking is free. Even small things like this, lift your mood and also inspire you in more ways than you might imagine.
But men in my country do everything possible to humiliate and trample on women, to achieve top status and huge budgets because of a male-oriented religion, with jobs that pay hundreds of thousands for preaching 24/7 against women and others harm women all the time. So walking wont really help me. 😢😢😢
I used to struggle with motivation too, but I learned to push myself. Consistency is really important. Your motivation can be as silly as you want to impress the guys/girls on the beach, it doesn't matter how silly it sounds like, if it works for you. I think moving for our health should be a great motivation, and the aesthetic result is the cherry on the cake.
Cardio is NOT a waste of time for our hearts, maybe for weight loss…. But hey, a healthy heart and good circulation for our lungs, I’ll keep doing some, thank you!
Later in age, especially for women, it's about stress on the body. (Cortisol + Insulin). So short cardio parts is fine, just come down and then you can go on. It's about insulin (resistance) & sexual hormones. For women. And focus on muscles & protein in the age. For women & men.
Omg change the title , this is Senada Greca I follow her so many years now and she is absolutely one of the best fitness athletes. Who’s Kim Kardashian any way?? 😅
A lot of a time I don't feel motivated... "Put your feelings aside, working out is a non-negotiable" This is one thing I consider a big learning from this material, this has been one obstacle for me so often, relying on motivation which it seems it doesn't come out of the blue not even for the people doing performance. Thank you!
I love that she talks about prioritizing strength training early for women and the long term benefits as we age. I wish I had known this when I was younger. The good news is it’s never too late to start strength training!!!
After almost 30 years of traditional workout, yoga and other many fitness training, I've found Senada and her unique training always executed with precision & Harmony 🌟🎯 also her AMAZING strong body invited me to training with her, and so 2 years later I'm lifting my body as I never did before and I have such GREAT PLEASURE on her workouts 🤩 it's so creative and powerfull 🔥 Thanks Senada for ALL will gave to us and for being so true with yourself 💪🏽💎❤️
Love Senada. But please, change the headline. She has a career and its grossly disrespectful to not include her name in the title just as all you other guests. Also, 5 minutes a day? She has never said that. Please correct and do justice to Senada Greca. Thank you
I made a habit of working out within a week after I started two months ago. Now I’m addicted and I don’t like to take my rest days. Working out has helped my mental health tremendously. It’s amazing really.
Dear Senada I’m impressed with your simplicity and concept of approaching exercise with love. Jay, this podcast felt like an easy effortless conversation …loved it
first time I saw Senada speaking - it's such a inspiring person to listen. I loved when she speaks about "it's not the way you look before and after - it's HOW YOU FEEL". I'll take this for my workouts. Thank you Jay, for sharing ^^
I loved her candidness, sincerity and honesty in this interview. She speaks to all of us trying to stay active despite societal pressure to look a certain way as women.
Someone mentioned dance in the comments. I've been active all of my life. I'm 63. I started dancing at three. I like aerobics, too. But, nothing, and I mean nothing as far as exercise, compares to dance for me. But, I do understand how strength training is important. I'm hearing more about it all the time. Knowing that exercise beats out medication and psychotherapy for depression and anxiety is mind blowing. I think the physical activity along with psychotherapy is the way to go for myself. Maybe medication if you need it. I can't' say enough good things about being physical, whether it's dancing, aerobic exercise, or strength training. One more word on dancing. It helped me to endure a very traumatic childhood. Music and dance are oh so good for the soul!
Wow, Senada is truly such an incredible soul. I love her energy and purpose! This is just the inspiration I have been needing to start my fitness journey again ❤
I used to sleep in my workout clothes when I worked out with a trainer in the early mornings. It does work! Because money is so tight and I hate crowds, I have a little workout space and some barbells, kettlebells, sandbag, yoga mat, etc and its been great. Getting into a habit is the key. Thank you for saying afternoon workouts are fine! That's when I feel like I do my best. Senada is a real sweetheart.
❤I do mine early morning. I wish I could go back to 2 a days. Mentally it clears me and physically I feel my best after a workout. I also workout at home.

Pilates builds your core strength amazingly. Ive been teaching it for 16 years and it has helped me so much with spine issues and it really is a great additions to working out. Definitely cross training is key. Resistance exercise is great too. Its all so beneficial 😊
Running is awesome! I love cardio and I do it because I enjoy it. Strength training has it's place of course, but it might be her be all and end all, it ain't mine. Mindset - yes is everything! When I'm running - I thank every part of my body and my core for holding me up, my knees for being so strong, my neck for holding up my head, my toes, my ankles, I go all the way up and I give thanks to every part of my body for being so strong and vibrant and fit! My body gives me a great run and has conditioned beautifully, after a baby and not looking after myself for a while!
And what they don't tell you is that for everything a pill does positive for you it also has a negative affect in your body. All of them do. You can reverse so much and get rid of your pills with diet and exercise.
Dealing with a variety of health issues including an auto immune disease that leaves me fatigued. Micro-workouts were my only option at one point as I was so fatigued and in pain. Would do 1 minute to 5 minutes of movement at a time multiple times a day. It has helped so much. I have seen gains this year even from these small efforts. I don't look a ton different. But I have these moments I realize I had more strength, stamina, balance, and could breath better. Do what you can even if you exercise on your bed or in a chair. It will help you. Don't let anyone shame you about your starting point.
I loved this episode! Senada Greca is amazing and does a fantastic job educating the audience about the importance of strength training. I completely agree with her and have learned so much from her. She truly deserves to look as beautiful as she does!
Thats why I love this woman. She is so real, that famous ppl used her training just to make them feel happy for a moment of trends, its their desicion. But she is just telling them the true, keep doing it and thats it. Love you Senada. ❤
17:02 Let’s also add that one pitfall concerning bone density is Sugar!! Processing sugar by the body costs an enormous amount of minerals which are with time leached out from any possible place or taken in nutrients that were supposed to be for certain parts of the body and are now used to process sugar. This is why ideally one should prefere fruits, at least organic fruits, because they already contain the minerals needed to process their own sugar and often even more. And because of pregnancy and breastfeeding in women, eating cooked or blanched dark leafy vegetables at least 3 times a week is essential! They together with algae, contain the highest amount of bio available calcium and help balance hormones and diminish menstrual discomfort. But it needs to be cooked or blanched, or else it will create kidney stones over time! Ideally it also should be varied, kale, spinach, amaranth, collard greens, etc
listening to podcasts like this is one of my motivation while doing exercise...working on my body and my mind at the same time and listening to so many inspiring stories ❤🙏
Great to see senada getting interviewed I watch all of her content and she is amazing at what she does and she deserves her flowers she is the epitome of a trainer mind body and soul ms greca blessings queen

It's a point. Right. I was upset, because of clickbait with a big name. But _she_ is big - in order of great! I really love her. But you are right, there a lot of people which don't know her. I would go with both names. She derserves to get named. Maybe this is our point.
It's because her name is enough for many of us to click and watch It's actually insulting to use that thumb nail. Should Kim then be introduced as Kanyes first wife because he's the one who who elevated her and her families when it comes to their status in fashion or Ray J's ex girlfriend because its the sex tape that made her famous 🤷🏽♀️

I feel like he could have said "Kim Kardashian's Personal Trainer Senada Greca......" But to be honest she's a famous fitness trainer and putting kim name on it helps her as well too..... I think we shouldn't be so quick to think negative about it.
At one point I was on 20 different medications. I finally told my doctor "if it isn't life or death I dont want to take it." He sounded very frustrated as he said "I can't practice medicine like this!" I thought maybe he should practice healing instead of practicing medicine.
The reason some doctors and other prescribers get frustrated is that most of the time the patient will not stick to it because they don't want to give up or minimize certain pleasures. Meanwhile, they continue to get worse or deteriorate. Got to make daily healthy food choices (with the specifications they need for their condition) with portion control (or within the amount of calories you need for your goals), plus at least 30 mins of exercise/activity (whatever you enjoy and can stick with) a day. Most will give it a try for a few weeks and then revert.
@@amaragrace94 I didn't have a weight issue???? My lungs shut down so I had 8 different medications for that. (Life or death). Then those meds caused high blood pressure, thinning bones, insomnia, hormone imbalances.... all of which have drugs to combat these side effects. Then THOSE drugs have their side effects so there are more drugs to combat those.... don't actually understand how your comment relates???
@@yugenknows740 It didn't make sense because those further details weren't provided initially. My comment was more along the lines of life and death complications of high blood pressure or diabetes (i.e. stroke, dangerously high blood sugar- DKA or HHS) since they are pretty common examples. Also, if your life and death meds are causing high blood pressure, thinning bones, insomnia, and so on but you don't want additional meds for those issues, have you found natural alternatives to combating those side effects? For example, cardio and watching your sodium intake are great for managing blood pressure. Just saying, it's not safe to leave some of them uncorrected in the long term.
@@amaragrace94 yes. Now I eat VERY healthy and do 10,000 steps, a yoga video, and one other choice of exercise every day. I'm happy to say that after a 12 year struggle of spending almost as much time in the hospital as at home, my lungs finally tested as NORMAL last month. 🎉

What a shame that whoever wrote the title decided to write “Kardashian trainer” instead of her name Senada. She had an amazing reputation before training the Kardashian.

What’s her name ? She must have her own identity. Coincidence!!! I have been following her videos off late…didn’t know or care about she being Kim kardashians trainer…. The Lady is amazing ❤
All she’s saying does work,, I have been doing strength training since I was 21 and I am 63 now ,, my bone density is 👌 and I am still the same size 8 as I have been all my life and still toned ,, 3 times a week I have found is enough to maintain your strength,, I can still do 20 men pushups 😀
For those criticizing the title. Kim is way more famous than Seneda. I didn't know who she was, I know who Kim is and it got me to click on the video. Kim is KNOWN for her body, it's good marketing. Now I also know who Seneda is, and probably wouldn't have clicked on the video without the Kim reference.

Thank you!❤
Love this ❤
You poor thing!! Thx for the heads up- this is great VALUABLE advice💕
Lost my period too for almost 4 years. I start eating lots of fats, beef and eggs every day. That was a life saver. I'm 9 months pregnant now.

No idea who this lady is, not a fan of KK, what got me was the “no cardio” and what kept me was totally hearing, understanding and totally agree with using working out/training to help your mental health. Retired army vet. Been retired 5 yrs. PTSD, RA, and 253lbs….broke af. Not anymore….cardio got me here but strength training is what got me where I am today…..mentally and physically fit. For the first time in my 53 yrs I’m maintaining and have been for a year now…..143lbs strong….💪🏽❤️🇨🇦
YOU ARE AMAZING! Your story is very inspiring. This stranger is so proud of you for your hard work and tenacity. I hope you live a long and very happy life! THANK YOU for your service!
That's amazing! You have overcome so much. Exercise is much better therapy than any medicine for me.
You could have a zoom class or utube video for females veterans who served or anyone interested in how you overcame ptsd...maybe a daily exercise live video ....that would inspire others who have endured alot.
@@AlainaKarr I think that’s a great idea but I’m not sure I’ve got the ⚽️ for that! Lol
10 mins in nature is good for the soul. Walking is free. Even small things like this, lift your mood and also inspire you in more ways than you might imagine.
I agree!!!
I must commend this woman. She is so meek and humble and speaks so soothing and calming.
Music to my ears.
She does not say cardio is a waste of time. She also says a 5 min commitment can change your mind toward routine not your body.
You just saved me time
Cardio is NOT a waste of time for our hearts, maybe for weight loss…. But hey, a healthy heart and good circulation for our lungs, I’ll keep doing some, thank you!
thats 100% right!!! im with you!
Yes!!! I was low key pissed at the title.
it's also great for mental health!
Later in age, especially for women, it's about stress on the body. (Cortisol + Insulin). So short cardio parts is fine, just come down and then you can go on.
It's about insulin (resistance) & sexual hormones. For women. And focus on muscles & protein in the age. For women & men.
@@stefanienia3914 yes!
That’s also following the pattern in a good hitt program!
Controlling the cortisol response is key for better health!
I love her ❤ She has such a powerful voice and story on her own. No need to add KK to the mix when it comes to this amazing woman.
Omg change the title , this is Senada Greca I follow her so many years now and she is absolutely one of the best fitness athletes. Who’s Kim Kardashian any way?? 😅
First, you should change the title in general, because cardio is never a waste of time.
Keep the title... I've never heard of Senada but I've heard of Kim ... Now I follow Senada

Why are you watching this scam artist's podcast
A lot of a time I don't feel motivated... "Put your feelings aside, working out is a non-negotiable" This is one thing I consider a big learning from this material, this has been one obstacle for me so often, relying on motivation which it seems it doesn't come out of the blue not even for the people doing performance. Thank you!
I love all of your meal prep and grocery haul content. Always feel inspired to stay consistent and add some new ideas after I watch your video.
Thank you
You are absolutely right!!! ❤
I made a habit of working out within a week after I started two months ago. Now I’m addicted and I don’t like to take my rest days. Working out has helped my mental health tremendously. It’s amazing really.

Dear Senada I’m impressed with your simplicity and concept of approaching exercise with love. Jay, this podcast felt like an easy effortless conversation …loved it
Senada Greca is a very humble, lovely human being.
first time I saw Senada speaking - it's such a inspiring person to listen.
Find comfort in a discomfort of working out, well said Senada.❤
Senada Greca is amazing! I follow her and watch her training videos all the time. I virtually train with her every week.

She's an awesome and wonderful athlete. That title of this video just speaks volumes of the intentions behind it. No need to do that.
Senada is amazing, knowledgable, humble and such an inspiration to us all. Kudos to her 🔥
She is so genuine and down to earth
Pilates builds your core strength amazingly. Ive been teaching it for 16 years and it has helped me so much with spine issues and it really is a great additions to working out.
Definitely cross training is key. Resistance exercise is great too. Its all so beneficial 😊
Senada is a great ambassador for fitness and well being. I look forward to her videos and humble yet focused outlook on training 🙌🏿 🙌🏿 👌🏿 💪🏿
My Doctor is a pill pusher and the last time I visited her I said no and I've been exercising instead and I feel good and I'm sleeping so much better.
And what they don't tell you is that for everything a pill does positive for you it also has a negative affect in your body. All of them do. You can reverse so much and get rid of your pills with diet and exercise.
I HATE pills 😪 I prefer more natural remedies
Yes I won’t take that crap nether
What if your nervous system is on high alert due to something traumatic and anxiety. And loss of sleep and always feeling nervous
@@deniselove3849 sounds like some therapy is in order as well as a healthy diet and exercise.

Love seeing Senada speaking about her journey ❤️ she is such an inspiration 💪👑
Could you link a source? Thanks!!

So nice to see this podcast, I know this woman from instagram, it’s nice to see her speaking. She is so kind and dedicated.
This woman is absolutely amazing. I loved it so much. I wasn’t aware of her but wow she is wonderful
LOVE Senada! Been following her for awhile. And I only follow a handful of people.
Sounds like they were certainly concerned about you Lol ***not***. Pharmacology is not the answer... Healthy eating and strength training is!
The biggest motivation is your health! Anybody can find 30 min 3 times a week for workout, no excuses.
Today I woke up and was sluggish and lazy to workout as I had hard week, my job is physical, but

What’s her name ? She must have her own identity. Coincidence!!! I have been following her videos off late…didn’t know or care about she being Kim kardashians trainer…. The Lady is amazing ❤
Yet you clicked to see who she was. It's hilarious reading y'all's bs.
