Did it the lazy way as well when installing mine. Unbolted the passenger side, the top bolts going across the front on top of the grill and the underneath the bumper having it come off halfway. Ended up working just fine. Definitely a better upgrade compared to my overlays on my old ‘14 Explorer.
LOVE the idea! but I just got a White / Black vinyl decal to go over the blue oval. Looks fantastic, only took 30 seconds to clean / prep the emblem with some isopropyl alcohol, then a steady hand. Plus, the vinyl decal was only $10 on Etsy. 🇺🇸💪🏼
I’ve had those before they only look good for roughly a year or 2 and then the sun really starts to get to them here in Texas I wanted something that would last a lifetime
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks My '21 came without them. Love the way the roof line looks without. Ford is standardizing their platforms so they can reduce customizations and push more right from the line. You can't order a 25 without them but a buddy of mine (been at Ford for 20 yrs or so) has said you can remove them. You just have to find the delete panels. I'll shoot you a pic to your email as a reminder 🤣
Don’t undo anything lol. Just snap those tabs off the back of the stock emblem with a plastic panel tool. They with break off pretty damn easy. The nuts will fall to the tray where you can reach in and get them with your hand. Leave the nuts off the new emblems and just use 3m. It ain’t going anywhere. 5mins your done. Then you ever need to change you don’t have to go through a bunch of bs again . Guys taking the front bumper off for an emblem are crazy
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks Its not lazy, it just doesn't make sense to take off the bumper for an emblem. Every time you take that bumper off you risk snapping a tab off the bumper. If youre back there doing multiple things like a grill swap, headlights or something else so be it, but for a cheap emblem no thx. Risk vs reward
looks so much better and thanks because i wanted to do the same on my new 25 - great vids

100% the lazy way is the best way 😂

This was a TIMELY upload. I just got my front and rear emblems and ST badges from Emblem City on Friday.
Uploaded just for you, brother😅
Looks sick brother!
Thank you brother 🙏
What's up dude, you ever thought about deleting roof rails ?
Yeah I have I forget about them until I’m next to an explorer who doesn’t have them lol
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks Knight's Garage on UA-cam he did it and he has parts listed in video description.
@denismanace I know all the parts it’s just forking the money over to do it 😅

Form where?

$200+ is a hell of a lot
It looks way better than a sticker that most do and other places were quoting me $600+ for badges.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks true
Wtf did i do wring i did everything in the video exactly the same and i ended up with 4 extra 7mm bolts
Probably forgot to put them back in one of your trim pieces
@HoustonSpeedFreaks I put back 2 10mm on the inside then 4 7mm on each side for the trim then 4 10mm on top holding up the grill
@Jahwigga uh what the heck 😂
@Jahwigga maybe they were the extras that came with the car😅
@SkyRiz103 😂😂😂

That’s the true lazy way but it doesn’t take long to take off the bumper😅
