That sounds about right , when I change the oil in my St I wanna say it takes about 6.7 quarts to get it to the full line. I’ve been looking for a better oil pan for years at this point so I’m stoked. Once he fixes up the pan so I can use an oem gasket I’ll be placing my order.
Yes me too! There is finally a solution 😁 He is ditching the oem gasket idea and going to be using a flat mahle gasket that will be provided with the purchase of the pan 😁
Video on swapping out rear axels please!!!! Lincoln replaced my driver rear for free when I broke it. Looking at those 1,000 HP ones now, but don’t know if would be a big driveway install or not
maybe i'm too critical but i'm thinking if you have a drop oil pan, you need to get your oil pickup 1/8" from the bottom as recommended by most, not 1.5" above the bottom. Then i'm thinking you might buy a rope seal to put in that groove around the oil pan then silicon it up a bit. Looked like a lot of silicon there, hope the excess doesn't break off into the oil pan side and go for a swim. Then finally i sound like a dickhead that probably shouldn't even make a comment. But I do like your vids.
You’re all good brother! So yeah you’re thinking too much into it, although the pan is deeper the pick up location does not change and it is not an inch and a half off the bottom of the pan. The pan is more wide than it is deeper. I originally had the same thoughts. But the data speaks for itself. Adam from ZFG shared the data on the high performance page. Oil pressure is only dropping roughly 10 psi vs 40psi with the stock pan. And yes lots of hondabond to fill the gap of where the oem gasket should have gone. The bulk of the silicone was either in the channel or on the outside so it gets squished to the outside. And if you have ever used Honda bond you’ll know once it’s set it doesn’t just break off, if some happens to make its way in….it’s seriously thick and super durable. All your concerns are valid though and I appreciate you voicing them 😁
Cool video man, congratulations on the sponsorship, keep these awesome upgrade videos coming
Thank you brother 🙏😁

How is the oil you sell compared to the one that ford dealers use?

$600 for that little thing? Yikes.
Worth every penny, the data speaks for itself.
