- This video covers my conversion to wasted spark. This conversion deletes the need for the distributor ancient tech. I run a single 4 pole EDIS Ford Coil and Buchka Spark Wasted Spark Board. I use a Miata J702t ignitor to drive the coil and could also drive the tach.

Suggestion: you can use a Volkswagen DIS coil which has the ignitors for spark 1/4 and 2/3 build in: no need for a seperate ignitor and gives a much neater installation. 🙂
What the part number for this coil? Can’t find much information elsewhere about this
@@SharpieEasternn I have two of them in my garage..not at hand. But it is on many VW cars of the end of the 90-ties and also 2000's. I have for example a VW Lupo 1.4 8v from 2003 and it has that coil too.
There is also a 6 cilinder version (for VR6 for example).
YoshiFab DSM CAS Adapter if you have the right Aux shaft will get your tach signal.

What ecu can that be used on? Lh2.2 or lh2.4?
Where did you take the 12v power when crank from?

Just type in "Bucka Wasted Spark" into Google and you'll find his website where he sells it now. I just got mine a few months back, haven't installed it yet though.
