Maybe you mentioned this and i missed it. Where is timing signal coming from? The crank? Should you run a Cam position sensor as well?

Crank trigger yes. Cam sensor isn't needed for wasted spark and batch fuel.

Maybe a little but this is about at the limit with 87 fuel. Turbo is the answer
