Oh, I had fun with this one, thanks for the visual reference, I could not see the mark for the intermediary shaft til you showed it.
I did have to substitute a roll pin for the crank pulley timing element, the super weak bump that allows synchrony at the crank pulley so ignition timing can be set, since it sheared off seemingly all by itself. It won't move now, unless it shears that pin.
I did a valve adjust and had trouble getting the shims, I am out in the back country in Oregon and parts are hard to obtain out here. I did find them at IPD in Portland Oregon, and they were really inexpensive. I had to pull the cam to get at the shims, no way to get them out after 33 years in the motor, they were stuck real well.
Do it right or don't do anything.
This guy drove 650 miles to have me do it, and that's just one way. Do it right the first time and advertising takes care of itself.

Hey, I am Polish (we use to be neighbors through the Baltic See) living in Canada now. I make my videos in two languages even thou Volvo is not so popular in Poland. But it is in Canada. Those use to be assembled here in Halifax.

@@robertdeptula2003 my country, volvo 740 is a difficult car to find good condition, there are many that are broken by young people and on the junkyard, there are not many left. so used parts are hard to find
how come they are not popular in Poland?

740/760/940/960 were produced 80s-90s, same time when Poland went into transition from communism to capitalism (from 1989). People were poor. It was cheaper to go to Germany and bring beat up VW or Mercedes. I used to have BMW 520 back in Poland. My brother in law brought Volvo 360 from Holland about that time.
