30:55 shouldn't this combat roll have been a tie? Dice are 1, 3 and 3. Captain hits in 1 and 3, crew one hits on 1, crew two hits on 3. So a total of 6 (and no one on cannons) vs the merchant's 6.
Wouldn't have mattered since Michael had a surefire token anyway.

At the 6:30 mark, Sam should have taken 2 gold for defeating the merchant ship, correct? Yet another asterisk. ;)

At the 4min mark you rolled to attack and lost with a 2 and a 5, but doesnt your crew let you reroll 2s and 5s? *EDIT* nevermind you explain this rule at 14:20 that it only counts for the Main action.

So I'm confused. You said you did not reoll your 4 in the combat, because you did the search action. But did not doing the search action allow you to "bury a treasure" and perform an "attack", which you did. Would that not activate all your "attack" crew powers?
