I thought that you only steal cursed gold from another player in combat if you are cursed already. That’s what my rule book says under cursed attack. Just like cursed plunder.

Why -3 iron after losing around 13:00?

In the rules Madame Drake will start off cursed, so she can steal your cursed gold when she defeated you on the first round. But you were not cursed yet how did you steal her Cursed gold back?

Please, can you clarify if the fourth sailor that is earned with the legend level is for a single use or if it remains for the entire game, in the Spanish version it says that it is for a single use but in this video they use it for the entire game. game, thanks

Wow you spend the majority of the time running the AI and not playing the game. So basically the game is playing you. 👎🏽👎🏽 Also the rules state that the AI never pays for action as it takes so paying to deploy settlers isn’t done.

Why is the AI paying food to deploy? Was there a rule change? In the solo rules section if the rules i read AI doesn’t pay to deploy. Page 19 under Enemy deploys after sail.

I agree the cleric is great when playing as battlemage and is one best hero's love combining her with with full set of the scarab synergies very well together

If an enemy is counter-attacking a spell, is the hero's defense considered? I can not find an answer to this question anywhere. I know that when attacking with a spell, the damage is done directly to the enemy as it breaks through their shield. However, when I calculate the return modifier assuming the enemy survived, does their attack also break directly through my shield - or does my defense soften the blow as if the enemy is melee attacking me?

At 10:35 you had the enemy sail super far around the island.. the rulebook says it will always take the shortest route possible. It could have made it to that C island in 5 moves moving more directly. Plus you ended up giving them all those villages because of that and they got lots of benefits. So that was a big mistake. Always remember, shortest route possible. Things like that coulda swung it on your favor!

At 20:15 Thordin kills the skeleton minion and then moves away, but any heroic action ends movement as far as I'm aware, so he'd be stuck there.

Just a wee bit of cheating there. 2nd Mixy should've also caused -3 to Gamlin(?) as they were within 2 spaces. OR was that initial -3 caused before Mixy moved? [edit] Oh, it has to go through open paths, because of that Gamlin was not within 2 spaces.

What about the second token on the boss health meter? Don’t you have to lead the boss out of the dungeon to the other minion room to resolve that token before dealing the last few bits of damage? (Great game though! I’ve played 10+ times in the last week since getting it, still haven’t won, but it’s awesome!)

Really love the game, and you guys knocked it out of the park, but if you do a re-release, I would suggest having the trap tokens placed on the tile when the trap is still set (or make them two sided, one for armed, one for disarmed). Having a visual stop there, much like a monster token, is much easier to remember you need to take an action, then it is to see a reminder that you DON'T need to stop and take an action. Also, recoloring the add-on stuff (like the abilities and whatnot that boost attacks) so they are not so easily confused with the actual heroic actions themselves. I have had to explain that multiple times to players every time we have played. You guys keep knocking these games out of the park. I currently have all released games, and most of the expansion material. Some of my favorite stuff played in a very long time. Thanks.
