Hey guys, at the beginning of the game you talk about being safe in the cove but while the game rules tell you to start the game on a map card with a cove, it doesn't specify that you should start hiding out in the cove itself, I just wanted to let you know that it may be worth specifying that in the rules if it should be the case. It makes sense because your captain meeple starts on the hide-out order however people might not realise that means anything, I know I didn't.

I thought that you only steal cursed gold from another player in combat if you are cursed already. That’s what my rule book says under cursed attack. Just like cursed plunder.
Ok. Question. ar approx 34:51 you rerolled a die and got a 3. If you used 1 surefire token to change the 5 into 1, you would have 5 hits. So did you make a mistake and did not need to use both surefire tokens or did I miss something?
With the original 6 and a sure-fire-token-transformed 1 he would also have had 5 hits. 5 hits are enough to beat a level 4 merchant/fortress, ain't it?
Please, can you clarify if the fourth sailor that is earned with the legend level is for a single use or if it remains for the entire game, in the Spanish version it says that it is for a single use but in this video they use it for the entire game. game, thanks
Can someone explain stealing from the ghost ship? It says, "Anytime you sail onto a map tile with a ghost ship steail 1 curse goal, which im assuming you stop on the map tile. However, the rules further say, You can only do this once per sail action; you may not doubleback to get more gold"? Which sounds like to me is saying, You can sail past a map tile with a ghost ship on it without stopping and still steal a gold.
At 4:57 the deck hand for repair was moved out to skip a field on the roundel. How is that possible? Probably I missed something. I also thought moving deck hands to skip fields on the roundel is only possible when one round in the roundel was completed?
So are there no like real drawbacks to having your captain be Cursed? It seems that it is only a plus with it giving you the ability to recruit a Skeleton Crew. I mean sure you get your Cursed Gold taken, but that is always going to be the case when the Ghost Ship attacks you whether you're Cursed or not, correct? It just seems odd to be "Cursed," but it not really have any drawbacks. Unless I'm missing something which is entirely possible :P
it seems like getting cursed is better, i take it you cant win whilst cursed. That said when they broke the curse they kept their cursed captains and crew. I think when you bury the artifact the curse should stop
You can only get the cursed crew at those two locations so it's more powerful but also harder to get. And you lose your cursed gold when attacked that first time. I'm guessing the curse isn't meant to be debilitating anyway.
