    Awesome vid bro, Yes I agree one wing being higher than the other doesn't matter, it may effect turning by turning better one way than the other but thats on almost all planes, lol Keep it up, can't wait to see what you come up with next, 👍🏻✌🏻

    Thank you for sharing, there is a lot of things going on in this video. I will definitely follow on any new contraptions you come up with. Please be careful with carbon fiber dust, that stuff ist nasty. Personally, I saw it under water but at least a face mask is highly recommended. Also, if I was doing CAD with a touch pad instead of a mouse it would take me at least twice as long.

    • @eternalprogression
      @eternalprogression  9 місяців тому +2

      😂haha thx man. I will definitely use ur water technique. Carbon fiber definitely is nasty I try to be careful with it but I’ve definitely gotten a lot of splinters. I usually at least put my shirt over my face lol. And I used to be a mouse user exclusively for cad but I don’t know the trackpad on the Mac is so good I think I’m faster with it.

    • @FarmerFpv
      @FarmerFpv 9 місяців тому

      @@eternalprogression Cut it in the sink with the water running over the blade and carbon fiber so it will not produce dust. You will regret it 20 years from now if you don't it's a painful death like asbestos in the lungs. Wear leather gloves when you can to keep the spilters from going in your skin. Carbon fiber is really nasty. Lots of men women and children die in factories in China every day because of loose regulations when cutting carbon fiber. Don't vacuum the dust-up. Spray it with water wipe it up with a paper towel and toss it out. As long as the dust is wet it poses no harm.

      I hated trackpads for CAD until my desktop PC died like 10 years ago and all I had was my laptop so I was forced to use the trackpad because it was easier than hauling around a mouse... I actually got really good with it and learned to like it a lot 🤷 might try getting another iPad if I can use onshape on it.... 🤔

    • @eternalprogression
      @eternalprogression  8 місяців тому

      @@guerrillaradio9953 oh awesome! Ya I don’t like needing to have a mouse to do cad so I tried without it and I love it! And the trackpad on the Mac is so amazing it’s better than a mouse. I think I actually started because with editing there are jesters I haven’t yet figured how to do with a mouse that work on the trackpad so I ended up just doing everything with it. And it’s awesome I don’t need a mouse for anything! And with Onshape on the iPad. I wouldn’t recommend it. I actually just tried it and it does work. Both the app and the browser. The app is cool to try out using the touch screen and the pencil but it’s just not as fast but does work and you could totally learn it witch is awesome but definitely if you wanted to do it with the iPad you need the folio keyboard with the trackpad. But at that price I would 110% recommend just getting a MacBook with the m1 or 2 chip the air or the pro. I have the pro and it’s the number one best investment I’ve ever made it is literally my whole setup. I do everything on it and it’s the only reason this Channel is the way it is now. And with the M1 chip it will literally last me a decade I think. I’ll just replace the battery when it goes bad. It’s the only laptop I’d recommend. I actually really like windows. But only for desktop. For a laptop I’d only go mac. It’s just so much more efficient. And it just works. But ya I use my iPad as a second display for my mac and I make my thumbnails on it and I make my tee shirt designs too. Other than that I don’t use it. I’d definitely recommend the mac. Sorry for the long response lol but thx for the comment! I obviously liked it 😂. Edit: although I’m sure for work you probably need windows. In that case maybe the iPad is the way to go. Instead of having two computers you could have the computer and the iPad. I did just test out cad on it and it does work and ran well. I have the air with the M1 chip.

    Offset wings could have some effect at takeoff due to wing-in-ground effect, but I also don't think that's what happened.

    I think you are getting very close on the flying car, the aerodynamics seem to work adequately, but your weight versus lift is problematic. Just a suggestion, ditch the heavy wheels and replicate them out of a foam material, something like close cell foam that is used in insulation for example. Also make the new wheels narrower, to reduce the drag.

    Imagine when someone finally stuffs this much electric power into a human sized electric aircraft😂
    The problem is all the money in aircraft design is going towards super efficient electric aircraft, nobody is dumping the resources into making one purely built for fun and power like this. I hope in my lifetime I’ll be able to sit on a 10ft quadcopter and do a 150mph munch out.

      Dude it’s my favorite airplane. It has lasted longer than any other. I’m pretty sure it was my first or second one I put together From flite test. But I’m pretty sure it’s just their A pack motors and escs. 1800kv motors and 20 amp escs and 3s 850 lipo. I don’t know what the all up weight is I’ve literally put footballs underneath that thing and all kinds of stuff and the CG never cares and it always flies so Good I love it. Especially with a tail heavy cg it’s super fun to hover.

    I have two ideas for differences for offset wings, one is if a wing has downwash on the tail and the other doesnt. The other is that when it rolls one way aileron and dihedral effectiveness will increase and the other way they'll decrease. But idrk.
