    Thank you Charlie for helping me build, and film! This video was a rollercoaster to make, film, and edit. Probably should have given up once I made it to that island but I don't know when to stop 😅. In this video I motorize a Walmart raft as well as a kayak with as little money as possible, using yard sticks and R/C airplane components. I ended up printing out toroidal propellers that I had edited from ‪@rctestflight‬ in his latest video. Thx Danial, I love your videos and you are a huge inspiration! Any way hope you guys liked this video. It was meant to be an easy one so I could have more time to work on the flying car but...ya this one took me forever, but I learned a lot about how I’m gonna do this UA-cam thing. See you in the next one!! :)

    He is young, he does the standard without hesitation (merchandise to get money)... Funny to watch him knowing he will succeed if he goes on. He has a good education and money from parents to realize his ideas. That should be the starting point for all young people. The world would be so much more advanced

    Your approach to engineering this stuff is perfect IMO. You've nailed at a young age, the process of breaking down a complicated problem into parts and testing your ideas for solving each aspect in the simplest most straightforward way possible, and figured out how to make it watch-able too which is probably just as hard. IMO you are becoming the next generation of Daniel or Peter Sripol type channels. Keep leveling up your ENGRing skills and you'll go REALLY far IMO. I'm loving what you are doing and how chill and wholesome your content is.

    What an awesome project! I loved your previous plane video, but at heart I'm a boat guy so I'm excited to see where this goes!
    One thing you probably already thought of is that your motor setup seems to be designed to make small things go very fast. If you manage to trade some of the speed for torque, either with a gear/belt reduction system, or just different motors or something, you could print/use bigger props and probably get a lot more power. Again, you've probably already thought of this as this is obviously your first iteration, but just thought I'd say it!

    • @eternalprogression
      @eternalprogression  Рік тому

      Oh, me too man for some reason I just love boats. I haven’t actually thought of the gear system but That’s a good idea. I really want to get some gigantic motors and make a speedboat but that would be really expensive. Maybe if I get a sponsor soon!

    Trying to push the broadside of that yard stick through the water is probably taking most of your thrust. Same motors an props mounted in a way to make less drag would go way faster.

      Oohh you know the original origin of that guy huh! So that painting is actually from the game Minecraft. And the paintings in the game are all from one of my favorite artist Kristoffer Zetterstrand. A lot of his paintings are from out of bounds screenshots of video games. He must like the kings quest game because a lot of his paintings include screenshots from it. The painting on my wall is a cropped in version from Minecraft, of one of his bigger paintings. And to answer your question, actually painted it myself.
