Thank you Charlie for helping me build, and film! This video was a rollercoaster to make, film, and edit. Probably should have given up once I made it to that island but I don't know when to stop 😅. In this video I motorize a Walmart raft as well as a kayak with as little money as possible, using yard sticks and R/C airplane components. I ended up printing out toroidal propellers that I had edited from @rctestflight in his latest video. Thx Danial, I love your videos and you are a huge inspiration! Any way hope you guys liked this video. It was meant to be an easy one so I could have more time to work on the flying car but...ya this one took me forever, but I learned a lot about how I’m gonna do this UA-cam thing. See you in the next one!! :)

Ah to be young again and have this level of enthusiasm. I remember those days. You are doing awesome work and experimentation. Keep it up. I will watch with envy!
The gift that keeps on giving ,❤ what a bird !😊
He is young, he does the standard without hesitation (merchandise to get money)... Funny to watch him knowing he will succeed if he goes on. He has a good education and money from parents to realize his ideas. That should be the starting point for all young people. The world would be so much more advanced
Awesome! Now bigger propellers:)
It’s such a treat to watch someone take the knowledge they’ve obtained and apply it with such enthusiasm, excitement and a willingness to have fun. Thank you so much for sharing this
Thank you!
The only bad thing is that it ended, is just so good to watch
I'm sure Daniel's proud of the level of sheer functional jank this build entailed.
Looking great!
This was worth the wait 😫 your editing is 🤌
swingwing is the coolest rc aircraft i have ever seen. keep up the good work.
When it glides around the water my jaw drops 😂 It looks so cool!
Haha thank you its so fun!
@@eternalprogression Looks fun! Looks like a lot of work too but I bet it's worth it 😂
As always! Great video ! 👍👍👍
Thanks again!
Great video...looked like a bird
Maybe make a spring-loaded (airpowered?) launcher on the kayak for the folding wing airplane. Press a button, instant launch!
That would be sick!
That certainly shows ur enthusiasm and putting ordinary things together to get it done. And everyone needs a Charlie!
All that hard work is certainly worth it....and to show if it's in ur head u can accomplish it!
#BringbackCharlie 😎
Awesome project!
Thank you!
Starting to look forward to your videos as much as Daniel's. I'm sure you know how much of a compliment that is.
Still think you should call it "The Gnat" because of the wingshape.
Thx man! That’s awesome!
My shirt arrived yesterday, can't wait to rep it. New subscriber but your last video was amazing, the subject was fantastic, and editing and music was so well done for the story. Can't wait to see what you do next.
Oh awesome man! Thank you!
i dont know why the youtube algorithm recommended this, but hell yeah, im excited that i found this channel xd
Hahaha yay!!! Good job youtube algorithm!! Thx for watching man!
Your approach to engineering this stuff is perfect IMO. You've nailed at a young age, the process of breaking down a complicated problem into parts and testing your ideas for solving each aspect in the simplest most straightforward way possible, and figured out how to make it watch-able too which is probably just as hard. IMO you are becoming the next generation of Daniel or Peter Sripol type channels. Keep leveling up your ENGRing skills and you'll go REALLY far IMO. I'm loving what you are doing and how chill and wholesome your content is.
Thank you so much! And ya the editing i would say is even harder 😭😂
I LOVE USING LOWES YARDSTICKS FOR LITERALLY EVERHTHING LMAO
😂😂 really! That’s awesome!
Great one, again. I watch rctestflight too,i think he would like what you do.
Such a great Video dude, i am looking foreward to your Next Projekts. Also your Video editing is awesome, massive Respekt!
Thank you!
You are the next Peter Sripol
Hahaha I hope so!
your my discount rctestflight and I LOVE IT
😂
Cool to be able to say that I knew you before you became a big youtuber (btw could u ad a Subscribers-count to the end/outro of the videos? Would be nice to see how your channel grows over time
Oooo i like that! Thx for the suggestion!
The content we all needed, keep up the good work.
I am so glad that flight test gave you a shout-out for your incredible folding wing airplane😜🤪 hopefully they make it a kit for sale in there store and give you a cut. P.S make a powered glider like that❤❤
I hope so too!
That’s awesome
I like the ideas you have. Your videos are great and i realy like your editing style.
Thank you so much 😊
If you could put those in frame props in the wings on tilting mounts you should be able to vtol too
I look forward to further updates.
Great editing packed into 14 minutes. If you had a second weekly video 2 hours long I would watch that also.
What an awesome project! I loved your previous plane video, but at heart I'm a boat guy so I'm excited to see where this goes!
One thing you probably already thought of is that your motor setup seems to be designed to make small things go very fast. If you manage to trade some of the speed for torque, either with a gear/belt reduction system, or just different motors or something, you could print/use bigger props and probably get a lot more power. Again, you've probably already thought of this as this is obviously your first iteration, but just thought I'd say it!
Oh, me too man for some reason I just love boats. I haven’t actually thought of the gear system but That’s a good idea. I really want to get some gigantic motors and make a speedboat but that would be really expensive. Maybe if I get a sponsor soon!
Sir... such a nice ideas I can see here! you are developing a fucking real Megazord! Vehicles made from vehicles.... nice work!
Ya doin good for what ya got,if u made a drive train from say a 4 or 5 foot rc tug boat u would move really good
Trying to push the broadside of that yard stick through the water is probably taking most of your thrust. Same motors an props mounted in a way to make less drag would go way faster.
Bro just saw you on Flite Test Life, That's awesome!!! 👍🏻✌🏻
Thanks man, that was super cool! And I saw your comment there! Thx man.
@@eternalprogression HaHa 😁👍🏻✌🏻
Shirt has a really good look. Well done. Tank top version possible?
the yard stick is generating so much drag lmao
I know😭😭😂
The fact that the ticking and music near the end are from the part in Interstellar where there's a 300 foot wave kinda scares me considering he's in the water...
the flying boat's geometry is awesome!... if you could work on the next model on the surface of the bottom [the hydrodynamics] it will be better keep it up, your on the right way to great things...
P.S.: and start playing with birds... don't avoid them, it's good training..!
the surface finish of a prop is everything when it comes to efficiency and performance also noise filament prints aren't the best maybe try a small resin printer they seem to have better resolution
Hey wats up it’s cool -before1kguy
Make “swing wing” boat were it can dive under water and still be a boat
What’s up man! I can’t wait for that video!
:)
I just got the shirt and it’s great 👍🏻:)
@@michaelgplayzz oh thx dude!!! Glad u like it! Thx for getting one!
Love your work man ❤❤❤❤😮😮
Wow this is epic, the trodal prop must be so hard to cad. If your wondering who this is it is that fifth grader. It made my day when you replied to me. You may have forgotten who this is but it’s ok. It was crazy that u went to flight fest, I have always wanted to go. I also have wanted to make the things that you make, but getting materials is hard when ur in 5 th grade
I haven’t forgotten! Ya i haven’t tried cading anything like that. But after looking at his model, I think I know how to do it! Thx for the comment see u in the next one dude!
Thank you that was instent😊😊😊❤
You just got a new subscriber. And also, how do you afford this?
could you find smaller motors to use?
So you gonna skip land vehicles and go straight to space?
What motor are you using? I'd like to do a similar project.
Those are the c pack flite test motors i think! Whichever motors spin a 9 in prop on flite test. Good luck on your project!
Where did you get theg Kings Quest dude pic on your wall?
Oohh you know the original origin of that guy huh! So that painting is actually from the game Minecraft. And the paintings in the game are all from one of my favorite artist Kristoffer Zetterstrand. A lot of his paintings are from out of bounds screenshots of video games. He must like the kings quest game because a lot of his paintings include screenshots from it. The painting on my wall is a cropped in version from Minecraft, of one of his bigger paintings. And to answer your question, actually painted it myself.
@@eternalprogression Very nice indeed!
Please move to canada
will brushless motors work in salt water?
They will work, but you have to clean them so they don’t rust
@@eternalprogression thanks!
Hello EP. I bought a paddle board and drilled a hole threw the board and Mounted an electric trolling motor in the stern. 12V battery box and cruise at 10 MPH. A lot of fun to say the least. have a 7 mph tide and was able to get it back to my dock. keep up the Great Work SIR..
Arrgh... Become a PILOT !!!! Engineer...if you chose to do so. i hope you have checked out my Site. Check out the Grumman Canoe that I built. USS NIMMIT'S. Keep up the Great Work. Capt Mrgn.
Any issues with weeds fouling the propellers?
Not too many weeds in that lake, but I’ve definitely had a big problem with sand 😂.
@@eternalprogression really hard at that particular size and torque of brushless motors to avoid fouling I've found, thanks for the reply and I like your videos
You put a better channels name in your title and stole his video concept
