- First thing first. This game is not BAD. It's not TERRIBLE. But that doesn't make it good either. I'm going on a rant here because this game deserves it. So lets find out why together!

I played this on ps4. After you reach summer you've got like a 50% chance your game crashes every time you save at the end of the day which causes you to lose all the stuff you just did and need to do it again

It's crazy how this video is 2 years ago, it literally puts words into my mouth when it comes to my own personal opinion about the game. I didn't play the first game but I did watch gameplays/playthroughs of it and I must say that seems more enjoyable than this. this is the only honest review I've seen, I've checked some reddit forums and it seems so many people prefer the 2nd game (in which I can see why, but still) and I can also see why my friend steam gifted me this game. The first game was much better
they should’ve spent more time and put more thought into this game, I was very excited when it came out, but then I realised that it probably isn’t worth the money. Thank-you for your honesty and your review sir.

I'm no game developer, but when you mix an open world, fast game time speed [3 sec = 15 minutes wtf], and time gated by game time missions you will always get impossible to complete quests.

@@miah_the_king Who's idea was it to make 12 seconds be an hour in game? Who's idea added to that by putting time gated missions in relation to game time, and not IRL time?
I don't care what the game is, that combo will always make anything it touches suck.

The crazy part is I was looking on the switch and realized that they live with the price on the first one then I came across your video the second one and man I tell you this has to be the realest review I've seen so real I don't think I even want to get the first one Thank you Thank you Thank you keep up the good work

Personally, the game is a huge dissapointment. First game is much better. I know it has it's problems, ut at least it's not a garbage. They should've fixed first game or make a new one based on all the fixes on first one.
Yeah I agree. I hadn't played the first one in forever so I went back to play it just a few days ago. And while I don't really like the gameplay of the first one, it still offered you more than in the second one. Thanks for your comment btw :)

I didn't really understand most of what the game even wanted from me. I was kinda just fumbling around trying to figure it out. I'd recommend asking on the steam discussions board. The developers replied to me and so maybe they'll reply to you. Thanks for your comment btw :)

Thank you for the review, it seems like the budge went to get the big names in the fame instead of development, quite a few people were complaining about bugs that causes your character to get stuck (in the gym was the one I saw) and other little annoyances. They had a good game, should have just polished that instead of REMOVING career paths from it. I bought the first one for the music and cooking channels, I have no interest in a gaming one!
Yeah I understand completely. I mean in the first one it allows you to REALLY play as a youtuber the way you want. And while the gameplay mechanics in the first one are a bit annoying and I DO enjoy the gameplay mechanics in the second one, but its missing a bunch of other stuff that just doesn't make it feel worth it. I regret getting this game cause every time I try to play after sleeping and saving the game it crashes and I have to do everything I did that following day again😭
The number of bugs is hilarious, like I can't press button at some point so I need to restart the whole day,,, geez,,,
Launches of unfinished crap have truly escaped the prior exclusivity of the AAA club, and that's really sad.

I paid more then 30 for the game after two days of playing it I tryed to call PlayStation to try and get my money back but nope nothing they can do don’t by this game save yourself I just now got the 1st game just now it’s in the store for 10 on PlayStation I felt like I was sleeping more then I was actually playing time is way to fast 💨 I was hoping to do more then just gaming 👎 I hope the developer sees your video because everything you mentioned is correct big problems thanks again for making this video I just wish I saw it before I purchased the damn game

A lot of good things.. (the best things) aren’t in the game, like the animation when you do anything or the music aren’t there. The first game made it so good. I loved it because you go to bed and think about the stuff you need to do for your money and your carrier. It had a story.. first you lived at you mum and you need to do school. It felt like life yk. I hate what they did with this new game. Sry im German beach

But yeah I agree with you completely. The first game was very realistic and more in depth. The second game, this one, is just less so in a lot of ways. It focuses more on the media aspect and it's not very realistic in terms of how you go about life or building your brand or anything. Nice graphics but buggy. Good concept but done wrong. And then as I’m saving the game would just crash out of nowhere And I would have to restart the game to do the same day over again it happened to me over seven times
The fact it didn't have a manual save was frustrating to me as well. I have a family, I can't just play mindlessly know what I mean?
I brought the game, find it highly frustrating, I wanna change my boring wallpaper but can't figure out how to, don't even know where to buy wallpaper
Oh and another thing I found stupid, record video at city Hall when you can't record there same with city Hall plaza

Great video!! It’s fitting the release of "UA-camrs Life 2" just perfect. Nobody knew shit about the game and when it came out poor people like you had to experience the underdeveloped way the game was released to share it with others. All I found from the publisher was a 20 second trailer which was showing me how cool the charakter editor is lmao.
Also the marketing was kinda off - I just noticed that the game came out by accident and I was a huge fan of the first UA-camrs Life.
Sad that releasing unfinished games is normal these days.. I’m sure it will be pretty good in half a year or something like that. All in all this setting has a lot of potential - they could do something like a multiplayer where people can do contests and stuff like that.. I will buy it when it’s in sale

I was a 10 minute walk to a Dollar General away from getting PlayStation cards to buy this game. I remember watching Jacksepticeye play the first game when he was doing that, and I thought this would be a continuation of that.

I'm just glad I was able to help someone. And yeah. While the game does have some qualities that make it fun to play, for specific audiences only, I feel like the game was pretty much either a cashgrab or a pure sign that the developers have completely lost touch with what the fans and gamers are looking for. This game is far more focused on video gaming youtubers and trending topics on a twitter lookalike.
@@miah_the_king Funny thing, I would have not bothered with checking for any online reviews had I not noticed the 2.5 star rating on the PS store. People are not happy with this!
@@tankofnova9022 lol yeah. I mean I was expecting a lot more and so were the fans. They just totally missed the mark on this one. I would really like to know what their mindset was. Why go this way? The first one was really good, not super mainstream sure, but it was still better than this. It even had a new way of gameplay (which confused me) but it was still unique. Idk why they chose to do this but hopefully they learned their lesson.
@@miah_the_king Maybe the game will get better with updates. I hate relying on this because it further incentivizes the industry to continue to abuse us.
That aside. Maybe take a look at this again just before Christmas to see if any improvements were made?
@@tankofnova9022 hmm...idk. I don't normally come back to games after my initial video. I suppose if I got enough requests to revisit something then I probably would. But there are always more games coming up and more ways the gaming industry tries to screw its fanbase and I wanna be on the top of my game to try and help people when that moment happens.
I like the game but the problem I have with it is that being a youtuber is a side activity, you're constantly chasing trends and the video editing computer you can buy for 100,000 dollars glitches and your videos will never post properly

Went to the PlayCon did a recording to unlock First inpressions rushed home, just to realize my recording was missing. Had the same probleem with live streaming did the stream great bud the qeust did not complete. So I had to spend 2000 coins on the upgrade my self and then the games give you a gut shot by saying you shoude have done the livestream event. And some other bugs. Jup and time really moves to fast. I think in UA-camrs life OMG in the beginnen you only had one career the added 3 other once later i think. why the are not in from the start for UA-camrs Life 2 no clue. Shamefully played it already to long can refund it on steam. Now I need to wait and hope the fix the bugs and make the gameplay more fun.
yep. I know exactly what you mean. And that's basically the same things that were happening to me. Things just didn't mesh well, didn't work out so well because of the badly programed mechanics. Thanks for the comment btw :)

Found your first steam review and watched your first video about it. Didn't buy the game. And with this, pretty sure people have plenty to make their choice by now. It sure looks good at least. Imma go back to stardew valley now :v

Wish I saw this video first. Game timing goes by extra too fast; and energy life depletion isn’t satisfying; everything take up too much energy, you can barely enjoy activities/socializing in the game. .... only positive: pretty graphics
