There are two types of people in this world , those with loaded guns and those who dig , and you dig ,. is the phrase
Im from Denmark and im so effin proud of our DNSO, they perform alot of movie scores and soundtracks from videogames aswell
They are, by far, the best Symphony Orchestra in the world. I haven't seen anything even close to them.
when talent and hard work meet magic happens
@@eddyraye5825 No they aren't. If so, why aren't they listed in any rankings of the best orchestras in the world, via ANY source. Not even listed in the top 25. I google: Is the Danish National Symphony the best orchestra in the world & the results shown zero sources making claim they are among the very best.
You should be proud… WAY PROUD. I listen to this one performance over and over at least once a month. Not even kidding. I think this particular score put the DNO on the map at least in the USA. I’d love to see a live performance someday.
@@LucyJazzy85 Danish taxpayers pay for this full symphony orchestra and with the prices of airline tickets today you might be able to get plane ticket and concert ticket for less than watching a symphony orchestra in US costs to watch. But if that are not on your "list" then I, as a Danish taxpayer, are very happy to hear that you enjoyed this so much. So have I for years now. I keep playing it minimum once a month. Anyway, lean back and enjoy, it´s all paid for!
When they, after many requests, made a rerun of this movie themed concert nearly 2 years ago I watched them live and it was absolutely fantastic. I love they have heavy Brahms one week and the next maybe computer game music, that maybe were made on computers, live! SO versatile and SO competent in anything they do.
Tuva, the woman who does the wha wha is an international class mezzo-soprano dear sir, a little respect for her wah wha who do not need a synthesizer.
Boy did they do this justice. I just found your channel. Thank you for your reactions.
I love how they incorporate every aspect of the movie. In that 6 minutes you can see in your mind every scene. 🤠
The whistling lady is Tuva Semmingsen, she is a phenomenal singer. Check out some of her work on youtube.
Oh yeah her doing that song from Kill Bill is amazing!
Yeah and in (Once Upon A Time In The West.) She make me a 48year old Man to Tears, :)
She is wearing gun earrings.
The wa wa lady.
She's actually known worldwide as the "WaWa lady".
Their versions of the other two, "A Fistful of Dollars" and "For a Few Dollars More" are, believe it or not, just as good.
I believe it!
If this is so... why aren't they nearly as popular despite all being posted on the same date & channel? The, Good, The Bad & the Ugly = 126.7 million views. The 2 movies theme music you mentioned combined = 72.6 million views.
@@_MjG_ Because people aren't very curious or original. Before typing this, did you even listen to one?
@@brandonflorida1092
I listened to all 3 movies theme music proir to commenting, plus other of Morricone's music. I've recently been on an old Western movie kick. I just finished watching "For a Few Dollars More" a few hours ago. The music is great, but "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" is just better IMO.
There are so many "The, Good, The Bad & The Ugly - The Danish National Symphony Orchestra" reactions & those channels often seek out more to react too, yet there are far fewer reactions to those 2 you mentioned.
@@_MjG_ I've posted my opinion that the other two are just as good on 20 reactions to "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" for a couple of years and no reactor has ever even tried. This guy said, "I believe it!" and never tried. This is the response I've had from UA-cam reactors in many domains. When I started watching reactions, no movie reactor had ever reacted to a movie from the dollars trilogy (these 3 movies). I suggested them to movie reactors for a long time and was utterly ignored, including by the ones who thanked me profusely for the recommendation. Now reactions to those movies are very common.
🇨🇦 This Orchestra has over 100 World Class Musicians along with over 75 member Choir !
Would recomend reacting to this Orchestra from 2006 with their guests, Procol Harum !
I've seen this video you're reacting to several times, and I still literally get shivers down my spine from it.
This is the greatest Symphony Orchestra in the world and Ennio Morricone was an absolute genius.
I have listened to this atleast a dozen times and I'm blown away every time.
Where's this proof of "the greatest Symphony Orchestra in the world"? I Googled & found zero evidence of your claim online... other than some rather insignificant & unfounded YT comments like yours.
Fine analysis of the score. You know your music. From a dane in Brazil.
we played this during our marching season in high school band, the Ecstasy of Gold and I watched alot of spaghetti westerns with my dad also, good times
What an Epic performance !
There are two types of people in this world, those who think this is a masterpiece, and those who are wrong.
Their performance with Procol Harum (A Whiter Shade of Pale) was pretty epic too, a truly commanding performance by the late great Gary Brooker.
Edit: Hey! Tuva whistles too lol but she is known as the Wah-Wah Lady, so..
They also did fantastic with Fist Full of Dollars and A Few Dollars More.
Tuva Semmingsen is the Wah Wah Lady, in further roles we do get to actually hear her beautiful singing, the Huntsman features Tuva...sweet lady, she shared some opening gifts to her from fans....I wonder if Ennio had a chance to hear this...such work !
Look how many views this Has there’s probably more talent in that one room for this performance than there is in the rest of the world decades of training to perform this as a group you can say it’s a masterpiece and that might be underrating it
A sensational, spectacular stupendous marvelous piece of classic presentation..words are not enough
Concerning the film, music by the Italian composer Ennio Marricone (pronounce his name the Italian way or it sounds like a politically incorrect Spanish slur) directed by the Italian Sergio Leone, filmed in Spain using the Spanish army as civil war soldiers. Many of the actors didn’t speak English which was dubbed in later, in fact the whole film was made without sound which was all added later. The director didn’t speak English and Clint Eastwood needed a translator to understand him. Clint Eastwood said in an interview that he noticed the director didn’t seem very concerned about safety issues with all the explosions while making the film.
The reason I know so much about this film is because I took a a classic film class at UCLA and we covered this film extensively. There is also a lot of film information on the IMDB site also.

Thank you 🙏 very effective music still seeing it just by hearing ❤👏👏👏👍🎥
Others who have reacted to this video didn't understand the significance of the hanging dummy. You get it. Good on ya!
Profiles in theatre
“The Man with No Name” (Clint Eastwood) and
the Man Hung by Noose.
Tuva and Christine excellent live performances.
Thank you Zack, ❤
my friend you forgot to mention the genious behind the composer of the music the great ENNIO MORRICONE who wrote 500 soundtrack of movies. he passed away in 2020. my friend listen to his compose of THE MISSION. the reason you american never give his respect is because he was not american but italian.
I grew up with Clint Eastwood movies, this a memory I will not forget this what my father and I had in common, wild West Robert Conrad, gun smoke the riffle man,the big valley, wagon train, rawhide also with Clint Eastwood to this day I watch thanks to cable I'm from Dallas Texas, but raised in California but will forget my roots
And this - Italian Film was made in Spain with an Italian Instructor and an Italian Composer. I think only the three main, and, by that time rather inexpensive actors, came from the US? But still it is a formidable film and one of the best ever in this genre. And also the huge set is really formidable. I still love the scenes with the wrecked van in the dessert, where the Southern, Grey soldiers see a group of Southern Cavalry coming to rescue.
And the first officer of those, claps his sleeve, which becomes blue, under the grey dust!
I get a totally different experience by watching it and not just listen to it. By watching it I somehow catch all the details
I guess I'm bad at that.. what's your secret
Capolavoro di musiche e caoolavoro di film ENNIO Morricone e SERGIO LEONE❤️💚🤍💚❤️💚🤍💚❤️🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠the heart of western
They call her Tuva...and she wears guns for ear-rings....
As many times as I've watched this video, I never noticed the earrings before. Thanks.
@@alanfoster6589 To be honest, I find her captivating. There are several other videos of her performing with DANSO on YT, all worth checking out. She has a sublime version of the Bond Theme 'Moonraker', there's a traditional Mexican love song called 'Cucurucucoo Paloma' (yeah, I'd check the spelling!) and one of my all-time faves, 'Meglio Stesera' from the Pink Panther (1963).
This awesome Norwegian woman can sing in perfect Spanish, Italian, English, French and German!
I truly don't understand why she isn't all over out TV screens when one considers the crap that passes for music these days!
There are two kinds of people in the world, my friend: Those with a rope around the neck, and the people who have the job of doing the cutting." Thats what you're thinking of
I have actually found that the two types of people are those that just want to be left alone and those that absolutely refuse to leave others alone
This song always make me want to go out and do hero shit
they did a few concerts like that movie themes everything from this to theme from avatar n Pirates of the Caribbean star wars etc etc etc cheers from denmark
Just thought I would point out how Tuva Semmingsen (The Wah Wah lady) is getting that weird sound... there is a harmonica player playing in unison with her, you can see him at about 4:55 in your video, I think that is the only time he appears in the video.
Got nothing to do with the noose.
"You see in this world there's two kinds of people, my. friend. Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig"
Tuva Semmingsen, Or the Wau Wau Lady :) Sings in (Once Upon A Time In The West.) So I a Old Guy get Leaking in my eyes heh.
The mission, Morricone please.
next up: Once Upon a Time in The West
ive seen 20 or 30 reactions on here for this song , and your a COOL DUDE and the only one ive seen not clapped at the end of this video , dont know if thats good or bad or just ugly , no pun intended LOL
The way you pause the video it looks like the percussionist on Bells is waiting for you to return
also you forgot again the movie which was produced and directed by SERGIO LEONE if you seen the movie.
The Wawa girl has pistolero earrings.. how complete is that......
No reactors notice that, nor did I until seeing it a few times.
auto like :P And trust me I am and always was a metalhead and not just default Metallica (Slayer even less known bands like American Head Charge), and theres nothing like listening to a good orchestra live ;)
speaking of Metallica, and Ecstasy of GOld.... .do I have something for you to watch.....

Well said, from someone going to see Jinjer and Disturbed in a few weeks.
the cowboy hat was a great idea! you look like woody harrelson in zombieland!
Ha! at the 2:55 mark when you went and got your hat, the tube player's face seems to be reacting to you.
tubular bells ;).
🙌🙌👍👍
Ennio Morricone
Friends do fun shit together. ❤
simbolism, i like to believe im a scisor kind of guy ;)
That's why we must defend our countries and our culture.
Or we won't have this anymore.
Which country? An Italian composer, an Italian film, made in Spain, with Italian, Spanish and American actors. A Danish Orchestra made up of multiple different nationalities… that’s quite a broad blend of people.
@@alundavies1016 All of them.
Our countries I said.
@@Blobby3822 you have multiple countries?
@@alundavies1016 Did I say my countries?
@@Blobby3822 you said “our” which includes “mine”
Lord Bendtner is finally starting to listen. 😂❤
You kinda look like him. Or vice versa. All the best
I never knew Louis van Gaal played the oboe!
They do a version of the Halo trilogy that is fkin awesome
. . . your headphones are very discreet, I love them! can you tell us the brand? I want the same !
I'm not wearing headphones here.
. . . Sorry ! I made a mistake ! I thought they were so small!@@zack_reacts
May I suggest "Bobby Caldwell - What You Won't Do for Love (1979) " - (August 15, 1951 - March 14, 2023) - RIP Bobby Caldwell
I thought they just mixed the harmonica with her voice to get the desired sound.
Devi vedere il film è del1966

That is no band. That is a symphonic orchestra. Is it the first time you see it ?
Yeah, you lost me when you went to swap hats.
bORING OLD FERT1111
he might be a old fart but very intelligent unlike you
Good and enjoyable but can not compare to the original
In some ways u r correct, but in some other ways it's better
This version sent chills up and down my spine. The choir was great, the English Horn player was great but there were two things that bothered me just a bit. The Wau Wau girl at times didn't come across convincingly. I had the feeling that it was "oh gosh, do I have to do this?" The other one was the guitar player. He sounded like a jazz guitarist rather than western. Where's the twang? Perhaps a lighter gauge string set would help. Otherwise, loved it!
@@BrokenOboeReed I agree with you on the guitar. Tuva, the Wau Wau girl, is an opera singer but she enjoys her role with the DNS. She would have come across better if she sounded more 'distanced,' as in the movie. But all in all, I think their version is outstanding.
@@davidmontville4885 Thanks David. I think I know what's wrong with the Wah-wahing and I saw the solution on another video. The gals cup their hand over their mouth and, like a trombone mute, move their hand away to produce the effect required. It was brilliant and dead-on. It would be interesting to see how they did it in the original soundtrack recording.😀
@@BrokenOboeReed I once saw a clip of Ennio Morricone conducting his orchestra (while performing this piece) but do not recall details related to our conversation.
Uhhmm. Is your favorite word apparently...uhhmm
It's up there! And negativity is your favorite activity! :) Thanks for stopping by!
I don't know what is on your upper right side, but you kept trying to look away from the screen for half the video. What could possibly be this important ?
