I go through the options on how to make it look it's best ;)

Great video again Mr beckwith
I appreciate that
So....if you're hanging a mirror above a mantlepiece and the paper is patterned, do you start from the centre of the mantlepiece or do the 50 / 50 hanging process. So when you look at the mantlepeice and mirror the paper pattern is the same either side of the mirror ? Does that make any sense ?
Very good video as always phil.Where would you start hanging a wooden weave pattern from so it looks even on a feature wall?i have harrow by debona wallcoverings for a 6.2 metre wall.Would i have to offset the pattern and create a new plumb line from the centre
Hi Richard.... is that the wood look offset panels? (had to google it) paste the paper?
Same principle will apply to how i show on this vid. start by finding the middle of the wall. Offer the roll up and see how it goes by marking off where each drop will go. That pattern looks like you will be able to hang from the edge of the paper on the centre plumb line you've measured. Best thing is to see what the pattern looks like actually on the roll. This will depend if one side of the paper has the wood strip effect and the other side may not, as you'll match it up. If that's the case yu may need to see about finding part of the paper that will look even when hung to the centre... that allows you to have it balanced both sides equally to that centre line...... that way it should look matching at both sides of the feature wall. If you get the centre wrong, when you come to the sides/last lengths they won't look the same.
Does that make sense?
long time since i heard the word ,,SHEARS ..!lol,,,good videoes lol

Good to actually see you hanging paper .normally your videos are for educational purposes only more practical less theory . (meaning more of what you do best .
Cheers. There's a number of videos of me hanging mural papers too :)
Why only half way down Phil?
custom head board going on.. 1220 up from the skirting... I've trimmed 1190 up, so a slight overlap
way to go Phil Lad , jf
tnx ;)
Get yourself an old school apron and a refina straight edge
Cut and spin your lengths on a board instead of up down up down
Refina skimming spatula 24 inch £15
One continuous cut that you can line right through a full width
bigger area I would have done like on the other vid, I've a bigger trimming blade but it was down stairs and I couldn't be bothered to go look for it. lol
Aprons are for cooking ;)
Get a casserole in and chuck afew rolls on
Don’t do loads a papering these days but all ways found an apron more comfortable, bigger pocket
Bin n brace no good but I wear pants anyway
Doesn't the adhesive get on the front of the paper?
No. If you get some paste on the race, a warm water and sponge gets it off.
