  • In the beginning there was a void. Now it's time to divide the He Said from the She Shed and fill the void in our outbuilding. Today's episode highlights raising and insulating partition walls, roughing in electrical and hanging some light fixtures.
This is kind of a fast overview to get you caught up on recent events so feel free to post questions you have about the build down in the comments.

Loving your channel so much useful information. We are converting our formal dining room into a butlers pantry sometime in the future and I think I maybe able to tell hubby how to do it eventually.😂

What a great idea! We decided not to put in a formal dining room in our new house and just create a great room. The butlers pantry sounds amazing!

Thank you! We will get there! Now that the rains are starting, it makes it easier to be inside working on the space. :)

Like others, I just watched you and Becky cook together and was excited to learn of your channel. I live in an area of Winnipeg, Manitoba that is not far from a river. We share our yard with squirrels, bunnies and occasional deer. And yes, there are times I see a field mouse run through the yard. We have taken steel wool and used it around our dryer vent as precaution because though I may share our yard with the occasional field mouse, I don’t want to share my house. This past summer I came across multiple sites that suggested planting mint near the foundation of your home to successfully deter mice as well as other critters and some insects. Supposedly, it is quite successful. I would imagine one would want to contain the mint, as it tends to take over where it’s planted.

Thank you for the great idea about the mint! I had not hear of that! We have lots of room for mint to grow, so I think planting it around the barn would be awesome! And, I really like the smell of mint, so that is a bonus! Thank you for sharing!
