    Thanks for the video, @Dazzle Rebel! Glad to see you enjoyed the ride. I've been in the market for a new bike for the last year now and I definitely know it will be an Indian. Before deciding on the Indian though, I was set on an HD Street Glide. But after a couple test rides on a 2019 Chieftain Limited (and a Springfield), my heart changed quickly to the Indian. One of the main reasons for me was the suspension. I couldn't believe how much nicer the ride was with the Indian. In your experience, did you also notice the differences with the suspension?

    • @RebelRides
      @RebelRides  5 років тому +3

      Not compared to my Chief Vintage but certainly compared to the Street Glide. I think the Indian suspension set up is much more plush 👍

      Wil Esporma Yes ! A thousand times yes ! I own a 2011 Road King which I've always enjoyed riding but dear Lord, after I rode the Chief Vintage I could not get over how much more comfortable and easy to handle that the Indian was. I thought the Road King would see me out but now I'm truly wanting an Indian. Just to make sure, I rode the 2019 Road King and well, the ride was still very ordinary and everything else apart from the engine just felt the same ! Not good in my book, especially since Harley have done nothing to the 2020 chassis either. Saw the 116ci Springfield Dark Horse promo the other day and I'm in love.

    The chieftain is nice for the gadget people but I am more of a windshield guy and don't really care for fairings so I prefer the Springfield. If there is one place I want to be away from technology it's on my motorcycle.

      I love my Vintage. The engine has loosened up nice now and the stage 1 pipes and air filter give it enough poke for me. I had the rear wheel sliding out yesterday, which was fun.

      @@RebelRides is awesome the 111 is responsive as you know but the 116 even at 110km or say 70mph you still have the acceleration to pass trucks on the freeway. Or in Aus a roadtrain that can be a truck pulling 3 or 4 trailers. But your review is spot on except I don't have the cylinder deactivation or the ride modes. If anything like FTR ride modes amazing difference.

    I've been wrestling between a Harley Ultra, Indian Chieftain, or Honda Goldwing for a long time now. I was REALLY impressed with the 2020 Goldwing with its new sporty look. But I'm afraid i would miss a big American v twin after awhile . So I think my final decision is the Indian. I've rode a Harley for 20 years so the Indian will be something new with a different flavor yet strangely familiar 😂. But i tell ya man if you haven't checked out the new goldwings then you definitely should! I'd have both if I could afford it

    Great video. I have test ridden the 2019 Chieftain and a 2017 Roadmaster in recent days. Just bought a new unregistered 2018 Chieftain Limited (old style fairing, with the19" wheel and ride command). Sadly, my 2014 Chief Classic is having to trade in for it. I still have a Harley LRS and have done 10s of 1000s of miles on Harley's over the past 10 years. I love Harleys too, but Thunderstroke Indians are just better bikes.
