The NHRA is also entering a golden era. With more star power involved, even though the golden era for the NHRA started slowly in 2016 or so when Fox came over, Tony Stewart moving to NHRA brought a lot of media attention to the sport and now it is becoming popular.
When the entertainment era started, that’s when the Golden Era for INDYCAR began. I hope you can do INDYCAR content eventually because INDYCAR is a lot of fun to follow right now. And the golden era is still in effect for INDYCAR to this very day.
I like your take on the eras. I think it is important to show that different times had their own standards and champions are not always chosen the same way. That's fine by me as every sport evolves over time. I like the diversity of tracks now.
Hot take I know it's going to make you disagree with me since hey that's the beauty of a opinion: the 2021-now era is the most competitive era of NASCAR history right now with teams getting so much more competitive there's no longer a team that just dominates everything (okay maybe HMS and JGR) but outside those two it's like a free-for-all who's the better team from 3-9th on the grid from Penske (3rd) to FRM (9th) you can't tell me this is not the most competitive era in NASCAR you just can't.
The Gen 4 car was responsible for the “boom period.” Obviously, it was a great era for drivers as well. You could call this era the “sports car era” because that’s what they’re driving. You could also call it the “illegitimate era.” This is the least legitimacy they’ve had since at least the early 70s. I still watch it and I like it to a point, but they should change the name to NASCRE. National Association of Sports Car Racing Entertainment.
Nascar is still in the dark ages and if it doesn't get rid of all the stupid gimmicks that were put in place for the sake of sports entertainment, it will never recover.
@notTalladegasuperspeedway the videos will come out in January. I need time to look back over the whole season and actually make the video. Aiming for January 10th.
@@UncleT4life I dont blame you. I don't hold anything against Logano because at the end of the day, he won under the system in place so therefore he regrettably deserves it. It's more just the system in place but this year is way worse than any past this is worse than Blaney 2023, Johnson 2016, Busch 2015. But for me personally I don't really watch for championship anymore. Now sure I would root for Byron and Larson in the final 4 in a heartbeat but still I just watch to watch at this point.
@@p1motorsports694 IndyCar on the other hand it’s easy to root for a driver because they actually have personality now like NASCAR used to have back when Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson were around. Tony Stewart is bringing more personality to NHRA as well now so there’s that.
This is not a good video as when yuh say nascar crashed is not when it happened. 2013 is not the downfall of nascar. 2005-6 was the high and the down turn of the finically crisis was the down turn because peoplle couldn’t afford the ability to spend there money on nascar. Def change your opinion. Also the addition of road courses was never a good idea as now most fans love Kansas.

I could never get into drag, drifting or burnout competition. I always enjoyed the swap meets at the drag more

the thing i hate is people say nascar is still and will never get out of the dark age and also the dale sr worshipers saying the sport died in 2001

If nascar allowed people to pick which car cam to watch like channels, i wouldn't miss a race
