You can power Bmpcc4k with a xiaomi power bank 3 pro (it can provide 45W PD). You can olso make your own cable using a Type-C PD decoy module 12V PDC004-PD and a weipu plug.
As above will it work with 6k pro bought a 65v bank up and camera went on and off

Hello one quick question. I have a 12V / 3A 65watts output power bank. However when I power both the monitor and bmpcc6k, either one works only? Am I doing anything wrong? I use a usbc splitter to take 2 USB c power outputs. Also I tried the direct USB 2 output for the monitor from the same power bank, but either the camera gets on of the monitor. Please help, thanks.

No, I'm actually using it without the cage at the moment. You can screw it right on top of the BMPCC. The holder will come with screws.

You can use it without a battery. Did you purchase a power bank that has "Power Direct" "Pd"?
@@1encinitas PD stands for "Power Delivery", it's a protocol allowing USB C devices to negotiate power levels, basically.
In the case of the BMPCC4K/6K, the required power output on said USB C Power Delivery port is : 12V / 3A (minimum), which is equivalent to 36W (12*3).
So, for the cable to "work" you need at least a battery that can supply 36W on *one USB C port* (not a misleading combined total output)
I heard some powerbanks might damage, fire the BBCC. Is that one safe?
I’ve used this power bank with my BMPCC 4K for the last few years and haven’t had a problem.

I just tried looking up the exact Power Bank I bought in the video but I think it's no longer available. If you're still looking for a power bank I believe you just need one that offers "Power Direct". They'll have "PD" marked somewhere on the Power Bank.

The power bank solution is nice but a few things...
Most of your links don't work
And something for people to keep in mind is that the Smallrig holder is misleading. It says that it can hold up to 87mm wide power banks but that is not true. So for people looking to purchase a power bank make sure it's not too wide if you want to use this holder.

Hey bud, I think you need one that says "PD" Power Direct. I have another power bank that I use to charge my phones but that wouldn't power my BMPCC so I think it dows need to be 60W.

Unfortunately Amazon doesn't carry any RavPower Products anymore (hopefully that changes in the future). You can probably find the charger on the RavPower website. Just google it.
