Ok you're killing me. Mandu, tteokbokki, hotteok, bindaetteok, makgeolli, japchae, more mandu, Cass, soft serve, an FC Seoul match (ok Pete's more impressed with that than me, but we had the best fried chicken EVER there), and more hotteok all in 24 hours!?! We travel similarly. Ok but also I got so tense when Josh ran through those fountains. That's where Hays had a tumble that sent him to the ER on Chuseok (a national holiday.) 😅 I miss this city so much! Hoping for a Spring 2024 visit. 🤞
Whew! Glad Hays was ok after that one - I could totally see that. We saw 3 other kids fall over while they were running through it as we were filming me running through it
Me and my wife have fallen in love with your channel. Such amazing content and you guys are one of the most sincere creators we’ve seen. Just wanted to say we appreciate what you do.
Wow, you guys look so seasoned Seoul travelers hahahaha. You looked little timid when you first visited but man, this time you look so confidnet about everything you do there is Seoul. Loved to see you guys in Seoul again. God Speed!!!!!!
Ah this feels so nostalgic for us! We absolutely loved everything you guys chose to do! And you even came up just a little bit over budget but still so much fun ❤ Can't wait to go back in a couple months hopefully 🙏 thanks for sharing a great time with us 😊
This brought back so many wonderful memories for me. I visited Seoul (and Busan) around a year ago and had a fantastic time. I went to pretty much all of the places in this video (except for the football stadium). I couldn't wait any longer so last night I booked flight tickets to Seoul for the end of April 2024, that's the soonest I am able to return. I recently returned from a 3 week trip to Japan and while I was in Osaka I went to a football match (Gamba Osaka vs Yokohama FM), the atmosphere was electric, I'm hoping to take in a game in Seoul next year.
+1 to savory pancakes being one of the greatest things in the world. And deep frying anything could never do any harm. Thank you for the high quality video!
Love this video! You fit so much into your brief stay. Thanks to Ted Lasso, I added watching a football match overseas to my travel bucket list. I loved the WHIIISSSTLE nod. After a difficult experience buying tickets for a concert in Mexico I may opt for an English speaking country for my next international event that requires tickets. Until next time.... safe travels!
Welcome back^^ The weather is very hot! This time, how about soaking your feet in the valley and relaxing? I recommend you to go to the valley near Jingwansa Temple after the typhoon passes.
I completely agree the tteokbokki are gummy bear like! 😂 So much incredible food for a budget! Plus it’s a a great experience to try all of these street foods and get a variety of flavours and dishes all in one day!

what??? Lee Jae Hoon???????????????? He's my favorite actor and meeting him is my bucket list... wow you're reallllly lucky guys😂😂😂.. I've never seen him till now.. and I highly recommend to visit Gangwondo next time, especially Seollak mountain and East Sea near to Sokcho or Gangneung! You can see beautiful mountains and sea Also, if you are in city, try to visit PC bang (internet cafe)! + actually, we've eaten such pancake type for a long time. It's English name is called 'pancake', since it looks similar. However, it's actually totally different type of food. In Korea, we call it 'Jeon', which we mix several ingredients, spread, and cook it on fire. You can call it 'mung bean Jeon'.
For anyone wondering about pronunciation: hotteok is hard but imagine you're saying "hot duck" and soften the sounds a little. Gyeongbokgung is Gyeongbok Palace (gung means Palace) and should be said like gyung bok (the O is somewhere between an O and a U sound) and gung is goong. Makeoli is mah koh lee. I hope this helps :)
@@LisaAndJosh Good tip from @user-jq4hx6tf4h; I gotta say, it killed me to hear Josh pronounce hotteok as three syllables ("hot-tee-ok") when it's two. Keep up the great videos and eat more "hot duck!"
@@glenlee5963 That's why I said softer sounds because ho ho ho is too strong on the O. Usually when foreigners hear people say hotteok they think they said "hot duck" so it's easier to use that as an example :)
I'm new here but I have been watching almost non stop for 2 days. I have a question. When getting off the train and out of the station, why do you have to scan your pass card to get out? Thank you for taking the time to read and answer my question! Literally my new fav channel! Keep up the amazing work! Much love!
