The people, food, culture, history, everything. I'd recommend everyone who has the financial resources and enough time on their hands to visit Seoul/Korea at least once in their lifetime, you won't regret it.
I am Korean and have lived in Seoul for 30 years. After moved to US 5 years ago, I realized the Seoul how safe and convenient the city is. More than half of Gyeongbokgung Palace was lost during the Japanese colonial period and the Korean War. After some restoration, it became the present Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Yes most of Korea's historical places were destroyed either by the Japanese during their colonization of Korea or by bombing in the Korean War. very sad. But the restored palaces even though not old are still beautiful.
I have been waiting so long to visit Seoul for the first time and just booked my flight today for next month. Can't wait to be there and this video really helped!

Thanks for sharing the videos. Just returned from Seoul after staying in Seoul for over 7 Days. Seoul is huge and there are many places to visit. Very nice place to visit. This summer is warm. The heat from the Sun is as fierce in Singapore where I come from. There is a lot of walking required hence best to carry some shades or an umbrella in which would be very helpful to prevent sun burn. I have a some library of photos to share too. :P

Don't worry about the Duksugung Stoneway Walk any longer. There used to have a Divorce Court at the end of the walk and it was said that a couple was destined to break up to walk along the walk. The “walking along the stonewall walkaway of Deoksugung Palace and you as a couple will break up” story started from the fact that they used to have a courthouse for divorce rulings towards the end of the walkaway. So couples who walked along the wall to the courthouse were mostly those who were going through divorce or were about to 😉

Thanks for the video. This video reminds me of many things I have been missing for a while. I had been born in Seoul and have lived in US for twenty five years. Whenever I bring my US born boy, he keeps saying, why everything in Korea is so good and clean? I seriously consider encouraging him to keep his dual citizenship for a better future although he finds himself an American.
thank you for watching and for sharing! so glad to hear you're able to bring your son to experience Korea--such a wonderful place :)
came across your videos & Chius' because of the youtube algorithm - am pleasantly surprised at the narration style of your videos! :) Am going to South Korea in October - can't wait! Will be taking down notes from your videos.
Hey Nicholas--thanks for saying that! South Korea in October sounds awesome--I bet the fall leaves will be beautiful
I came to see your UA-camr by introducing a Korean UA-camr.

Seoul looks "Seoul" amazing!! 🤭We loved the Josh video-bombing in the bloopers!! 😂 😂
hahah right?! :)
I'm glad you guys are having fun in Seoul. They didn't have any of the light decorations in Chungaechun when I was there back in 2019. I just have to visit there again, 😁

@@hr9310 오, 정보 감사합니다.
I'm Korean but lived most of my childhood and teens oversea. Seoul has really become a beautiful city over short time and now I'm very proud to be its citizen

You have a very friendly appearance.
Thank you for your UA-cam channel, which introduces Korea.

thank you so much! we are enjoying our time here so much :)
Thank you for telling us all
About the T cards and Busan it looks incredible. I am going to South Korea back packing with 4 other travellers and your v log has put my fears at rest as the signs are in English too. September 12th 2022 here we come :)
have the best time!! just a short two months away :)
Suggest you buy your T card as soon as you get to the airport in Seoul. Go to the convenience store there and buy one. They are use to tourist and can help you if you need it. I’m glad I had it as soon as I got to the city as you use it constantly, Especially if you travel by taxi, bus or subway. Enjoy!
Also what credit cards can I use. Can I use my uk visa debit card.
thanks for watching! we keep coming back to Seoul and always find new things! great tips!
great video!! i am going to South Korea in November and i cant wait to see this beautiful city for myself!!
I love your smiles, all of you...

The man is a member of the famous kpop band "SHINEE"

The man's name is "Lee Minho". The woman's name is "Maria Elizabeth Leise"
we had no idea, thanks for the info!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I really want to visit South Korea. You have boosted my interest with beautiful views and commentary.
thanks for watching, Leslie! We hope you get to visit too! South Korea has been such a wonderful, happy surprise trip for us :)
These photos are in very high definition, nice photos.
Don't worry about the Duksugung Stoneway Walk any longer. There used to have a Divorce Court at the end of the walk and it was said that a couple was destined to break up to walk along the walk. It moved to South Seoul (Gangnam) years ago and No Worries. Enjoy the romantic and graceful sidewalk. It is beautiful.
Chicken and beer delivery at Hangang River

Go to the Han River immediately in the evening.
You can enjoy "Beer/Delivery Chicken/Ramyun" with countless people.
You can rent a mat at a low price, so just go with your body.
This seems to be a very nice place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
I just got back from Bali and just started watching this video by Google A.I, and this makes me feel how foreigners feel when they go on a travel to Kor for the first time like me to Bali. very fresh feeling that I have never felt in my local places. super fun video. cheesy puns ,,, I like that. hope you have a great time here. can't wait to see your next video popping up. come on~, please
thank you for watching!! yes! that feeling is hard to share, but it's so fulfilling. we felt the same when visiting Bali for the first time too :)
thank you for your coming~~!!
thank you for welcoming us! :)
Wow your itinerary seems to be spot on given little planning prior to traveling
Glad to see you're enjoying Seoul! As you say, "Seoul cool!"
yes!!! it's catching on :) Seoul cool!! 😎
Welcome to korea
thank you for the welcome!! :)
Thanks for sharing .. I would like to visit to Seoul maybe for about a week.. any suggestion?
The “walking along the stonewall walkaway of Deoksugung Palace and you as a couple will break up” story started from the fact that they used to have a courthouse for divorce rulings towards the end of the walkaway. So couples who walked along the wall to the courthouse were mostly those who were going through divorce or were about to 😉
aha! this is an amazing story--we had no idea. this makes a lot of sense, thank you :)
Aloha~I was there in 2019 for 2 weeks...been to few of those places you have shown in seoul...my trip was focused on visiting as many places as possible while we were there anyhow thanks for the video! 👍🤙👊
aloha!! we understand that! we jam packed our days because we were so excited to see everything!
💕So cool. 💕💕Thank you so much for introducing many places.
