I think you should create a reverse video about leaving Korea-it’s a mission of its own! You could highlight how important it is to leave a few hours early since the airport is quite far and the security lines can take over an hour. We did it twice, and both times the security line was over an hour. You could also showcase a great tip for travelers flying with airlines like Korean Air or Asiana: you can check in your bags, get your boarding pass, and even clear immigration at Seoul Station. This saves so much time and hassle at the airport, letting you go straight to the security gate and you don't have to carry luggage with you. It would be super helpful for anyone planning their trip!

This video was sooooo helpful, thank you! I´ll be flying to Seoul this weekend!!! 😱😱😱It´s not my first time but it´s been a good 5 years, I imagine a lot has changed. I feel more prepared now that I´ve seen a few good utube guides... Btw, I LOVE your sunglasses 😎

Thank you so so much for this video, sincerely. I am flying over there in about 2 months, for a month. I am travelling alone and whilst I do speak english and somewhat korean (studiying for the past 3 years), I get anxious in crowded big spaces. I know my brain can keep it cool in the moment, but being away for this long and alone, is a first so I’m guessing my anxiety will be going through the roof. Probably won’t be able to breathe until I finally get to my apartment. But again, this video has taken off some weight off my shoulders, thank you 🥹🫶🏻

relax, you will have a great time there. I speak eng and i knew tiny bit of korean too.Still whenever i struggled, translator app came in handy. And i dont know why people keep on saying that koreans are cold and rude. My experience showed that there is just a language barrier. Whenever i spoke even the tiniest korean, they would simply be overjoyed. Even if they dont speak eng, they will at least try to help you out in any way. Hope you have a great trip

If you visit Korea, you must try ‘Milkis.’ The name ‘Milkis’ comes from the combination of milk and Sprite. It’s a drink you can only find in Korea, and it’s one of my favorites.
Seoul Incheon International Airport is extremely easy to navigate, whether transiting to another Korean or international destination or arriving to begin an exciting holiday in Seoul. The airport staff are very friendly and helpful. Korea is a beautiful country and the Korean people are wonderful ambassadors of their home country.
Just noting that currently (November 2024) for Australians at least, the K-ETA is optional. You can simply fill out an Arrival Card on arrival in S.Korea. You can choose to get a K-ETA and it will mean you don't need to fill out the arrival card. This information is shown when you apply for a K-ETA online.

some of them do, even if they dont, they can guide you enough by little bits and pieces of eng they know or someone else around will help..Koreans eagerly help when they know english probably because they know that not many koreans speak eng
It really depends on the bus and the route. Some will. Some won't. For the really touristy routes, they probably will speak at least a bit of English. You can show your passport in the shop and ask them to skip VAT in the final bill. some shopkeepers skipped out VAT for me after bill calculation because they could see i was a tourist. Otherwise, there is a machine in incheon airport where you can do that.. i dont know the exact procedure as i didnt need it, thanks to the kind cashiersat shops

Very informative video! Are there any lounges or sleeping zones in the arrival area? I will be arriving in Incheon at 12am but will need to wait 5 hours before Gimpo airport opens! 😅
Will you be going to T1 or T2? T1 has the jjimjilbang (mentioned in the video). Would be a great place to relax, take a quick shower and enjoy a short nap without leaving the airport (and it's cheap) Here are a few more things that might be of help: Download our Korea Travel Guide PDF here: buymeacoffee.com/tastesseoulgood/e/135270 Watch our '100 Things to do in Seoul' video here: ua-cam.com/video/DdJGnAlkygs/v-deo.html Follow our weekly livestreams of Korea on Facebook: facebook.com/tastesseoulgood

Thanks for this video. Question : you said that for the bus you have to buy your ticket with you credit card. Can you use your t-money card too for your bus trip ?

Thank you. My advice is to 100% apply for a new passport right now. It's possible (or even likely) that your airline may not even let you board. And if they do, you may not be allowed to enter the country and will be sent back. Sorry for the bad news, but hopefully there is still time for you to get a new passport!
Thanks so much for your great video. Can you pay the T money card with the U.S. credit card or it has to be cash? And do they have any ATM where we can withdraw cash at the Gimpo airport? And can U pay the train/subway/bus with your credit card or do you have to have a T money card to pay for transportation in Seoul? Thanks so much for your prompt response.
Great video. What options are available to get to Seoul in the situation that a flight arrives late into Incheon, around 11pm to 12am? I noticed the trains do not seem to run late after midnight.
What is the exchange rate at the global bank atms in the incheon airport vs Seoul Central station? Would it be better to exchange in Seoul Central station or where would you recommend getting the best rate?
This is so very helpful. I’ll be visiting S Korea spring 2025 & I have a few questions. I’m from the Inited States, will I only need a K-ETA? Also, I will have prescription medication with me, do you have any advice?
You will also need the other documents mentioned such as valid passport with at least 6 months validity, return ticket, etc. For prescriptions, it shouldn't be a problem. However you should research to find out as some medications are prohibited. I would also make sure the prescriptions are in their original bottle, and have a prescription just in case. If they are simple things (like blood pressure or cholestrol or whatever) then you won't have any problems.

I went in August. Followed some of your tips. The banana milk was good.

If you visit Korea, you must try ‘Milkis.’ The name ‘Milkis’ comes from the combination of milk and Sprite. It’s a drink you can only find in Korea, and it’s one of my favorites.
와우! 최고의 영상입니다!!
감사합니다! :)
I agree. Incheon Airport is one of my favorite airports in the world.

The most intimidating thing is figuring out how to get to Seoul. So many options!
Excelent vídeo! Thank you so much. Are the Climate Card available to sell in the stores or the machines in the airport?

Just noting that currently (November 2024) for Australians at least, the K-ETA is optional. You can simply fill out an Arrival Card on arrival in S.Korea. You can choose to get a K-ETA and it will mean you don't need to fill out the arrival card. This information is shown when you apply for a K-ETA online.

I really enjoy your detailed and informative travel tips and info. Do the bus drivers speak English in Korea?
some of them do, even if they dont, they can guide you enough by little bits and pieces of eng they know or someone else around will help..Koreans eagerly help when they know english probably because they know that not many koreans speak eng
It really depends on the bus and the route. Some will. Some won't. For the really touristy routes, they probably will speak at least a bit of English.

Sooo helpful, thank you!! ❤ Could you explain things to do when leaving Korea? For example, the VAT refund process?
Someday we will.
I'm happy I came across you!! I'm a bluecollar worker in california and glad to see you dress relaxed!! Do I have to dress in korea like I'm a fancy person

Would be a great place to relax, take a quick shower and enjoy a short nap without leaving the airport (and it's cheap)

Hey man, awesome video! How far is the walk from the airport to the express train? 15mins slow walk?

@@TastesSEOULGood yeah i was talking about them. Airport Buses that drive you to the cities. Thank you for your response.
Such a nice video! One question, when I come in September I will have 4 months validity left on my passport. What’s your thought on this?
T Money has to be paid with cash. Yes, there are plenty of ATMs in Gimpo as well.
You'll need the T Money card to use the buses, etc in Seoul.
Hi There
Hi Natasha!
Enjoy the video :)
