Love the the humour and the way you edit your videos, yall are so underrated as travel vloggers, always enjoy watching and vacationing vicariously through you
I'll never leave my cozy home here in middle Tennessee so thank you! For allowing me to travel with you to wonderful places and eat yummy food way far away from here. I love this channel!
Thank you for this lovely capture of my most favorite city on earth. I have lived there twice, last time 15 years in a row, raised my son there, even had a photography website about BKK So thank you again, you captured the pulse of the city very well!
2023 just wouldn't be complete if i did not wished Lisa and Josh a blessed Christmas and a Exciting New 2024 , these two lovely folks have brought so much joy to travelling , Thank You
Bangkok was one of my favourite destinations this summer on a big trip. Really loved the temples, the markets, and everything so cheap (relative to home country)
Was in Bangkok in November for 4 nights as part of a 14-day, 5 country SEA trip. We barely scratched the surface and definitely exceeded our budget. No regrets. We had a fabulous time. Will definitely return with a much higher budget which we’ll most likely, happily, exceed again 👍🤑.
We absolutely loved this video and you truly captured it all. Our experience in Bangkok was not as great as I had hoped, but we plan to come back and give it a second chance in a better living space and location. Sometimes that can be enough to ruin an experience. But I think 2nd time will be the charm because we know the areas. I am starving now, thanks. Love you guys.
OMG!!! I just noticed that you two has been to Bangkok. The local ferry is the economical ways to get around Bangkok. That temple where you two were at is WAT ARUN. I took that ferry almost everyother day to go to Yaowarat (Chinatown) to eat and shop with friends when I lived there 20 years ago. Ayuttaya was the old capital of Thailand. You should spend more time in Thailand to go Elephant trekking (my favorite) and before they had Tiger Farm where you can get your picture taken with a wild Tiger (no kidding!), only raised and supervised by monks. My daughter, husband and I treasured that photos. I think now it's closed because of some freak accident according to my husband's IBM secretary in Thailand. Too bad I only learned about your channel too late. Enjoy!! Josh, by the way you're eating my husband's favorite lunch. So easy to make. It's just ground chicken or pork with Thai basil and fried egg on top. LOL!! Not my favorite, but it's ok. Chatuchak was the biggest flee market in the world. It's not only open on weekends, not eveyone knows that.
Stumbled upon y'all while trip planning for Bangkok (April). All I can say is that your teamwork and chemistry are top notch and Josh's humor tickled me way more than it should have. Someday I'll buy y'all a beer, until then thanks for the content and keep it up!!!
Yo! Welcome back. I just recently rewatched a rubber band lesson that Josh was practicing with a small bag of water. It's still fascinating how on earth people use only a rubber band to tie up things.
I love the way the video captures how Bangkok feels. Thank you for making the extra effort to take it a step beyond a travel vlog and capture some of the spirit of the place!
I dont think this video captures at all how Bangkok feels. Its more like a highly sanitized highlight reel of all the tourist attractions, instead of painting a picture of a bustling and very gritty 15 million people metropolis.
this video just feels like a basic bangkok guide for westerners. I don't eat or shop at any of the places recommended in this video (except for chinatown)
You guys look like 2 marvel superheroes, Starlord and the woman from shang chi lol, you guys are awesome and have good vibes plz keep the videos coming! And the videography is amazing love your shots!
hooked with lisa and josh... the chillest travel couple in youtube. just listening to lisa's voice (even when she was anxious back in oslo trip), is so calming. Makes me want to travel as chill as you guys. Keep safe always!
Excellent vlog. Love your 3 days in vlogs. We’ve been watching you from your early days and also enjoy your travel Thursday. Looking forward to your 2024 adventures.
I stayed in that exact Hyatt for 3 weeks last year to reach Hyatt Globalist status, then used my free earned certificates to stay at the grand hyatt bangkok, which they upgraded me to the club floor with the lounge. Hyatt is the best hotel program using Chase points! They often have a promotion where you earn 3k points per 3 night stay that includes points stays! Even bought mango from the same restaurant. Thanks for reminding me. Happy travels!
great vids and info guys we are heading to bkk for 4 nights from UK🇬🇧 on aug 3rd then ho chi min Singapore and Malaysia we have watched all your stuff thanks ❤❤ gonna deffo try uncle nuad and then hit patpong night market thank you❤🇬🇧🏴😎🍽🍺
Three days in Bangkok and the world's your oyster... On Christmas Day, I laughed and was lucky to view your viewpoint. Thank you two so much for sharing your experience.
This is such a great video! Bangkok is me and my boyfriend’s favorite place we’ve ever visited and watching this made me reminisce on all the happy memories there! Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for taking such great care in creating this video! ❤
Thanks for introdung Jacks to us! My wife and I love the place and it is a must visit every trip to Bangkok! Try Palate on your next visit. Actually near Jacks. Head to the rooftop! Happy holidays!
Goodness...you went to Jacks...that made my heart sign..i was waiting for more, then at the end...oh, Jacks....it's just Bangkok!! Have you ever been to Mommas near the old Silom Village...another very favorite!!
Great video guys! Making our Bangkok video now and taking some inspiration, so thanks ;). What do you use to display the budget counter? Is that after effects? Congrats on the continued success, huge inspiration for other travel UA-camrs!
When I visit Bangkok, ut didn't cost me anything. My today ex gf payed everything. ☺️ Visit 2012, 16 & 18. Ang been in roadtrip every time as well. From the south part like Cha Am and draw a line to Pattaya. From that line, I've been up the country.✌🏻🙏🏻
Jodd fair Rama IX was having fire accident on Dec 13. I guess it is still haven’t fully recover. You go to got to another Jodd fair close to Central Ladprao instead.
Your travel vlog is a breath of fresh air from the other MMMmmmm👀 vloggers. Plus finally vloggers that are not vegetarian or vegan. Sadly that is a little void if you just eat PB&J and meat pies. Love it anyway.
You guys are great but could you maybe try to pop a little card on the screen with some info about each location or something? It looks like you have a lot of fun but i doubt people could find half of these places with the information given. Maybe you mention it in there somewhere? but i miss a lot of your words to be honest. Thank you for your videos.
Did you see the chickens when you were visiting the Lying Buddha? BTW, 3 days is perfect for visiting Bangkok, I usually head north or south right after.
Revisiting Bkk after 5yrs+ …planning to visit the Palace & Temples as we missed it the first time Saw a recent vlog of Wat Phon and notice few people wearing knee length pants.. thought they had relaxed on the rules considering how hot Bkk is
I admit, Khao San Road is a bit boring to me. I prefer Soi 11, and better yet go south to Pattaya and just hang out on Walking Street, Sri 6 or Soi BuaKhao and TreeTown. They've just got more variety and fun. Even Chinatown has more fun, or that eccentric Bangkok character: the old and the new, the fast and slow. Perfect. ☺
Hi, i've enjoyed your channel as a english learner. I have a question in this episode. I'd like to know the sentence starting at 02:44. The previous sentence end up with "here we go ". The next one sounds like starting with "Off we waited ~~". Is that right? Whole text of the next sentence. please. Is there anyone else to help me?
Thanks for answer. May i ask you 1 more ? In " elephant pant wearing tourists ", as a english learner, i got a grammatical question. "tourists wearing elephant pants" is correct in your sentence or not ?
@@joGogakHa both correct. Josh said his sentence in a poetic way, and the grammar is a bit more flexible. You could say "the tourists are wearing elephant pants."
Thai people now use bank payment app to pay, but it needs to link to a Thai bank account. Most places now accept this method, including street side shop. Credit card payment is available in many places, but not common for small stores. For tourist, cash is the safest bet for now. Pretty soon, I think all payments will be via payment app like in China, but we need to figure out first how to allow tourist to use the app.
Do you think it's worth increasing the budget by like 10-20% per day? (Because of things like inflation since you started the channel will mean you have less money now to spend)
Love the the humour and the way you edit your videos, yall are so underrated as travel vloggers, always enjoy watching and vacationing vicariously through you
I appreciate that you all don't make the big production over everything you eat unless it's really good. I hate vlogger that do that.
I'll never leave my cozy home here in middle Tennessee so thank you! For allowing me to travel with you to wonderful places and eat yummy food way far away from here. I love this channel!

I loved this video right down to the blurred vision and the very subdued dark glasses breakfast the morning after!

This is an awesome video, guys! You did a great job summing up what people who have never been to Bangkok should do in three days. 👏
I stayed in that exact Hyatt for 3 weeks last year to reach Hyatt Globalist status, then used my free earned certificates to stay at the grand hyatt bangkok, which they upgraded me to the club floor with the lounge.
"Off we waded into the sea of elephant pant wearing tourists."
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for answer.
May i ask you 1 more ?

"tourists wearing elephant pants" is correct in your sentence or not ?
@@joGogakHa both correct. Josh said his sentence in a poetic way, and the grammar is a bit more flexible. You could say "the tourists are wearing elephant pants."

Explore outside your comfort zone for more rewarding experiences.
28:01 definitely not a budget choice with every drink costing 480 baht/13 dollars. i know a place with 60 baht cocktails.
what's the area of the Night Market called?
Josh: I've got a confession to make.
Lisa: ROBES AND SLIPPERS!
LOL
You belive in thailand happy
My stomach would be in so much trouble 😂😭
What app can you book electric Tuk tuks?
It’s called MuvMi :)
Have fun 😊😊😊😺😺😺🎉🎉🎉
I sort’ve remember the coconut guy from Chatuchak… 😂😂😂
You guys need to make a T-Shirt that says "You didn't want any, right?"
My kind of travel.
Welcome to Thailand,I hope you two will have a great time there
That night market changed because sadly a whole 1/4 of it burned down a couple weeks ago.
I think he goes to ex-rod fai market 2 ratchada that different market than got partial burned (jodd fair)
I hate UA-cam sometimes --- no notifications! Glad I had some time to scroll for you!
Do you think it's worth increasing the budget by like 10-20% per day? (Because of things like inflation since you started the channel will mean you have less money now to spend)
Haha! …as my father in law used to say, “ mmmm, that’s not un-good”
nice content, new subscriber here..
