On June 15, 2023, Nathan Carman was found dead in his cell awaiting trial which was due to go ahead in October. His cause of death is not known but it's believed to have been self-inflicted. He was 29 years old.
Wow, this case was strange, I'm not sure how it would go, even tho I think he was a lot more understanding to what's going on the some give him credit for
Dude, I’ve told you this before. I’m the retired coroner of Little Rock, Ar and you and the Coffeehouse Crime guy are my go to true crime creative geniuses. I had a tendency to ignore most crime stuff since I was on the death job for so long. But, you make it enjoyable and I occasionally spit my coffee across the room when you deliver a zinger as only you can do. Thanks.
I never think of how much work Mike is actually doing. I would never be able to find such an amiable mix of seriousness, quality editing, and story telling on like an old school tv channel. 29 minutes no commercials and another great video. Mike is a machine.
the best kind of machine!! sexy.. quirky.. smart as a whip.. quick witted.. funny AF and dedicated to his craft.. check out some of his vids from 3 years ago.. same quirky style.. just a lil stiff and less sure.. now his timing is impeccable!! @@andytyler6252 Nothing inherently dangerous @ Block canyon, aside from sea/weather conditions - seems like the dangerous factor here is Nathan's decision making skills / judgment.
@@houseofsolomon2440 Does the surface swell at Block Canyon increase more than the northern waters due to the depth and aggressive sea wall that appears to be there? Or was it just the distance from land that the mother was probably concerned about with Forrest Gump at the controls?

This is so crazy ! Years ago. My boss than and I cleaned there house Linda’s house . I remember seeing Nathan in his RV . She was always on edge because of Nathan . This is so sad !
You’re only saying that because he’s autistic. You have know idea if she was on edge . And remember being Autistic has nothing to do with him killing them .
@nancywright2680 You're the one that's assuming that it had to do with his autism. He'd already proven to be a danger, he held a knife to another kid's neck as a child and had a history psychotic breaks, why is it such a stretch to think she'd be afraid of him especially especially now that he was older and bigger.
Mike, I would love to see you do the story of millionaire John Pinder out of Utah. That story has everything, ostriches, an African lion that rides around in a pickup truck , dynamite and criminal stupidity, and so much more.
it's crazy how much your channel has grown since i first started watching you, and your content is consistently respectful to victims and funny without being at their expense. you never fail to tell the details in an interesting way.
Ditto. I remember when he was super calm and didn't joke around as much. He's even added more humor these past few months and I love it. NONE of these crimes are funny at all, but sometimes the humor helps to get through these horrific stories.
Mike, you are a great storyteller. I love your witty sense of humor. You surely make each story interesting and come to life. Thank you for your time and efforts.
Inheritance Dance you say? Don’t be silly. You’d pay someone else to dance for you. Great video as always Mike. Your ability to describe unique characters in a way that’s interesting and entertaining without ever mocking is beyond admirable.
@@aprilmay1700 MLE H may have been referring to the victims when saying "not mocking" not the perpetrator. (Who definitely deserves ALL the mocking Mike can come up with!)
To clarify: Mocking and bullying are aimed at an inherent trait or feature over which one has no control; such as the idiosyncratic social styles along the autism spectrum. Mike does not do that. Now, ridiculing or pointing out when someone is just being an idiot or an asshole, that’s fine! Join the crowd!!!
Super weird to see this on a channel I regularly watch. My friend went in a couple of dates with him way back around right before this went down. He was a huge creep. After not talking for a bit dude even tried to meet up with her again clearly low-key trying to guilt her into another date because "his mom just died and needed someone to talk to". I 100% believe he did it.
What were they thinking, letting a special-needs person have a gun hobby?! Was he not aware of his emotional limitations? They all sound like they were maximally messed up trust-funders.
@@flawedplan they said in his case he lacked ability to empathize and they knew this early on, so if they were trying to teach him to work up a little semblance of empathy, he would have known this was a shortcoming. Hi Mike! I just read an article about Nancy Crampton Brophy. She wrote a book on how to kill your husband and is now being convicted or has been convicted of killing her husband. I'd love to hear the details of that one. There's also the Browns Chicken murders in Palatine, IL. I'd like to see you do that story as well. Love what you do. Always looking forward to new episodes.
yes!! So weird! It was actually a news headline here in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 I don't know if Mike gets to reading comments, but he has a Reddit page where you can suggest stories for him to investigate. I might try that and see what happens
I'm in Connecticut and I remember when the boating "accident" happened. This was all over the news..i remember thinking there's more to this once I saw the kid yapping on the news. May his mom rest in peace.
I miss CT...just moved to TN. He doesn't explain how it went from finding the boat bringing on water to his mother just vanishing. Ridiculous story. Can we all just appreciate the time and effort mike put's into getting these great storie's and putting them out twice weekly over the last few year's the man's a legend thank's Mike!
Listening to him in interviews makes me chuckle, his speech patterns are like mine when I was younger. "It must have been terrifying!" "yes." Also, there is a stereotype that people on the spectrum cannot lie/have trouble lying. That definitely isn't true. Because a lot of them rehearse their responses to potential conversations in their head, some get very good at it, and have no trouble with sticking to a story. Having a monotone voice and not making direct eye contact also throws off a lot of people's radars. They'll assume that person is shy/timid and often drop their guard. Having deficiencies in empathy can also lead to pathological lying if it is logical in their head. Just because people with autism are logic-based, does not mean they are infallible or cannot lie.
Those things, like monotone voice and different eye contact (stereotypes, not diagnostic criteria) are usually used against us. If we get away with lying it's because of ableism, because people think we aren't competent or all there
Wow, who knew? I just thought that they were pretty innocent and yes didn't they lied much! It totally makes sense, I wonder about being serial killers? I know I'm so warped but so is Mike! See what I did there😉
This is so true, thanks for mentioning it! I'm autistic myself and am actually a pretty good liar and actor.. I spend so much time watching non autistic people that I'm pretty good at copying. A lot of autistic people also spend so much time hiding their autism (or masking), that we're already very good at and used to lying constantly without even realizing. I lie A LOT lol!

As someone with a kid with autism, it is challenging as the mind of such a kid is just wired differently. Not necessarily malicious like Nathan, just different. from the story of Nathan Carman, it seemed like he had loving people around him, but when his favorite horse died, something broke within him.
Mike really has a way of narrating. With all due respect to the case, I kept wanting to laugh because of how Mike interjects some thoughts like the boat's name as chickenpox, "isn't that a condition?" . I have to admit, I lost it right there.
There's a case of a missing female fire fighter in Brevard County named Brandy Hall that went missing in the city of Malabar. There's rumors of her death being a cover up because of a local fire chief having a marijuana growing operation and she knew too much. Something about a love triangle. It would be cool if you put a spot light on that. There's been so many signs "where's bandy?" in the most random places. For years. Someone knows something. It's really sad. Recently, they attempted a dig up of the lake where they presumed her truck with her body was dumped but a detective said that they believe the local police didn't have the equipment to dig deep enough. In my County, or state rather (Florida go figure) finding accidental deaths in retention ponds is very common. This, however, was not an accident. There's a lot to cover in this and the family would be more than willing to share what they know. Love ya Mike! Please give it a goo!
If the family is willing to share, I suggest you bring this case to Kendall Rae too. She does cases with the families involved alot. Think she has a request form you can fill out.
That’s the first thing I noticed. Was he representing himself in this case?? Because it didn’t look like he was giving evidence from the witness stand. He’s a moron whose playing the “Dummy” hand whilst thinking he’s too clever for investigators. I’m going with guilty on both cases of murder. Although it might be possible that his grandfather was a mercy killing or perhaps his grandfather had been in on his own death and Nathan is simply sticking to the scenario that his grandfather had laid out for him to follow? It’s not a likely scenario but it’s also not an impossible one either.
Shan maree Walker ... Those little "life rafts" are well equipped with food and water. Also flares etc.. I'm not sure for how long these materials are meant to last.
Lmao, if he did kill his mom for the money that means he planned this….I’m sure he was well aware of how to stay alive….prob shot his mom fucked the boat up to sink and had a stay-alive-bag that he sunk when he saw someone was coming to get him( binoculars-food-water- sat phone- who knows what else) he didn’t/ doesn’t want to die or be broke

You're one of the best story tellers I've heard. Your videos are well researched, well put together, and your sense of humor is great. Thank you for everything you do and all your hard work! You only need to add an "Inheritance Dance"!
IN actual fact Nathan tried to get his inheritance from his grandfathers estate in 2017 after his mother died but the law firm and executor denied it and so did the courts in 2019 because of the suspicion he did it. He is guilty and I hope they can prove it to a jury.
I used to work for the Aspergers Association of New England. It has since shut since Aspergers is no longer recognized as its own diagnosis, simply a part of the Autism Spectrum. I have also had friends and lovers who are on the Spectrum. If we are to acknowledge that folks on the spectrum can love deeply, be kind, careful, and good, is it not only logical that we assume they can be the opposite? We cannot judge Carman by his tone, eye contact, or body language. We can't assume he is guilty or innocent based on his diagnosis. We need to look at the facts.
Deep on the AS spectrum here. About to be 30 and still working on eye contact, not walking into every doorway, kicking table legs and incessantly conversing about one subject to the point of pushing others away... Shit's not as rough as people make it out to be. Was so cathartic when CT scans confirmed my AS, thank goodness for science. Otherwise I'd be utterly confused for who knows how much longer, as to why I felt so odd
@@KeefeL Replying to this comment to combat misinformation. CT scan is NOT currently a standard tool in autism diagnosis. Some preliminary studies have shown that CT might be a useful tool for diagnosis, but that data is still preliminary and it is not considered standard/diagnostic medical practice at this time.
Thanks Mike for all the effort.. It's a bit mad that we get excited when a new video arrives but you're humour adds so much.. Weirdly takes me out of the banal day to day things so thank you for that!!
Those “behavioral camps” some people send their kids to are all out, downright torturous and any parent should be ashamed for doing that to their child. I have a close friend who was forced into one and they still have enduring trauma from the entire experience, it is horrific and often penalizes children with mental problems for exhibiting the symptoms of those problems, something they often cannot help
It teaches them discipline, my best friend was sent there for messing up a lot at home and doing drugs, he went away there and came back a better man. Just graduated from college and we couldnt be more proud
Being someone who lives in southern Connecticut I remember this story was EVERYWHERE!!! I remember seeing the Coast Guard Blackhawk style helicopters going up & down the coast for days.
I saw this case on ID about a year ago and remembered thinking that I couldn't believe how they were buying his gimp act. Amber Heard is a better actor than this guy! Glad to see they are finally charging him
Lol From Boston + remember this so well also. I'm loling cuz I believed him when it happened. When I saw he was arrested just recently + reheard the story...I don't know how I believed him. Playing the autistic card maybe got me? The fact I can't understand murdering your mother at sea, stranding yourself while doing this hoping someone finds you for an inheritance you'd receive eventually anyway may play a factor in why I believed him 🤷♀️ I'm glad he was finally arrested + hope the rest of his life is complete misery. He got all my sympathy back when he planned + executed this twisted strange heinous act against the 1 woman on the planet who truly loved him.
And again when Mike said "I need an inheritance" I was rolling on the floor, though I don't know why Mike's dry humor gets me all the time. It's his delivery. You're a natural , man. If you get tired of this, go be a comedian- you're already well known anyway.
Same here Allison. A good portion of my life (mostly in bed) is UA-cam and most of that is true crime. 😁 Somehow getting into stories like this take me away for a bit. Sorry to hear about your illness. It's definitely not fun.
When I was 15 my father was a senator and a leader in a church and a wealthy businessman and he wanted me to go to his church and I didn’t like his church so he had me shipped to one of those places in Idaho. They put me in a room very small room with a bed in the middle of that five point restraints the floor walls and ceiling or pink carpet Zane Nelson was my psychologist. And they left me there for days nobody ever was held accountable for the things that went on in that place That was in the 80s I can only imagine what it was like for this guy because I was mentally healthy and it was hard to get through
It's almost as if being wealthy with tons of cash almost isolates and puts a huge target on your head making finding anyone who genuinely loves you impossible.
In no way does being wealthy result in that. Why on Earth would it? That doesn't even make sense. Sure, you might have a target on your back, probably not, but, maybe I guess. But, to have it isolate you to the point you can't form relationships? I'm lost on the logic.
I can tell you its a curse, i wish i didnt have 50 million dollars because i cant find that true love…thankfully i can surround myself with whatever i want and do as i please…

Many years ago I stayed at a drug rehab on land that Nathan Carmans grandfather owned. He also owned a restaurant in another town not overly far away. I was living on the coast North of Boston at that time. I got married and ended up living not too far from that drug rehab and some other property Nathan's grandfather owned. My husband and I couldn't believe it. It is so sad what the lust for riches does to people, we struggle, but are happy.
My grandparents were like parents to me for years. They took me in as a troubled pre-teen and saved my life. I've always suspected I'm somewhere on the spectrum, but my grandmother was old-fashioned and wasn't keen on getting me tested. 😂 Anyway, my heart breaks at stories where grand/parents go through stuff like this...Especially really good, kind guardians...He didn't see how blessed he was. That is, assuming he did it. The evidence stacked against him is astounding.
This reply thread took a fast turn. I'm glad you had loving grandparents and reciprocated the love.I haven't watched the full video yet, but I've seen the actual interviews w Nathan and there seems to be something more amiss than his autism. He knows how to stay alive drifting in rough waters and how stop an interview when questions get tough, but for anything else like police interviews he blames his autism for answers that don't seem to be true or legitimate. When he is confronted w facts and details that don't match his story, he says they misunderstood him bc of his autism.
@@miaknig3130 honestly the stuff that convinced me was the grandpa's murder. It's actually also possible he was framed, who knows? Maybe his mom found out about the gun and took it? I sincerely doubt it though. Another thing to convince me is all the tragedies surrounding Nathan, and the disturbing choices he made while he was a young lad--like holding another kid hostage at knifepoint. There is something amiss in him. Autism does not exclude or excuse evil behavior. /:
Wow the kidnapping part of story. I have a whole new respect for Paris Hilton after hearing how that happened to her. When she confronts her family I was crying. That place probably brought the evil out.
Mike must be finally enjoying his well deserved UA-cam money, look at all these new fancy shirts he has gotten lately! This one even has a stand up collar and more than 3 buttons! It isn't even navy blue! Good to see him thriving.
I live in CT. This story was definitely headline news. I’m personally convinced that Nathan is guilty of both murders. For financial gains. He’s extremely clever despite his austism spectrum diagnosis. How they couldn’t prove it is beyond me. I’m so happy that he was just arrested and charged with something! He’s without a doubt guilty in my opinion.
Being autistic doesn't mean you can't be a scheming piece of shit, my co worker at my previous work was just unable to really understand what people are emoting, he could not distinguish between certain emotions. He also never picked up social ques to understand when to shut up or be tactful when a female co worker's family member died and I was consolidating her. He would just ask stupid questions and not pick up that it was inappropriate to ask certain things.
This case is interesting because it makes me realize how much I look for guilt in body language and facial expressions. With Nathan, that is taken out of the equation because his emotions don't show externally. The law is supposed to be based on facts and evidence anyway, so it's actually helpful. It does make you wonder though: How many cases have been swayed based on how we read a persons facial expressions and body language?
Considering how many convicted individuals have been exonerated from death row in the U.S. since the development of better DNA testing, I'd say too many cases have been incorrectly decided. We frequently over estimate our ability to "read people." But, to be fair, my opinion is biased
Plus stereotypes for what we expect a killer to look like. A female primary school teacher was recently arrested for the murder of her husband, she had buried him in the back garden. However the husband had been missing for over a year at the time of her arrest.
Just heard about how theres been cases of domestic violence. The woman was hit very much and often, there was plenty of evidence but it was a jury trial. They found the man innocent. Not because of lack of evidence, there was plenty. After the trial a juror said "we saw the evidence, but she never cried in her testimony. Nobody believed her because of it" In short "she didn't seem sad enough to be a victim" It wasn't a televised case so I have to go off what the lawyer people said. (They talked about it while we watched JD v AH)
Dude did it sure as we’re all sitting here watching. Destroys GPS and Hard Drive, goes MIA, “loses” his new gun that was same caliber as murder weapon. Then blames the grandpas gold digging girlfriend who would have nothing to gain and would literally be severing the hand that fed her. Then the mom, umm yeah. Just hope that for their sake and for the sake of justice that the travesty of an NG verdict isn’t rendered. We’ve seen some incredible coincidences where seemingly guilty ppl were in fact innocent but this certainly is not one of those instances.
Sounds like Nathan would have gotten away with it (if indeed he's guilty) if he didn't get greedy and go after the boat insurance. I bet he didn't see that can of worms being opened.
$7M is not much - if he can go through $500,000 in a short time. He would need every last $. I am sure he sorely regrets his claim for that boat. Does show though if you go out to sea with someone in a boat and shove them overboard. You can get away with murder. Just claim you turned your back and when you looked again they were gone.
This is definitely my favorite crime stories channel . Wether I’m working or relaxing or getting ready to sleep . I always love watching these videos . Great job Mike 🙌🏽🤍
I remember hearing about this cases a year or two ago and I had a feeling he killed her but at the time they couldn't charge him so I'm glad they finally are able to and I think he killed his grandfather as well since he was the last person to see him and everything. Everything just points back to Nathan in the end. Money hungry is all it is.
Ugh. It reminds me of Edmund Kemper bs - the murder of his grandparents who were generously caring for him (for which he served very little time as he was a minor, also the time period had idiotic ideas about being able to “reform” minority offenders of Kemper’s level of violence), and he placated the mental health “professionals” by reading through manuals and repeating verbatim what he knew they wanted to hear). Of course once released from the useless juvenile system, he became an (in)famous serial killer who worked with the FBI in the earliest days of the criminal behavior unit (see Mindhunter Season One). He brutally murdered and desecrated his mother (her body) and her friend - in addition of course to many young women he picked up using his mother’s parking stamp as a UCSC employee to promote his “legit” status to the hesitant young women and minors (he was a SA/viciously sadistic serial killer). These murders, despite his mommy dearest-esque claims, we’re about his own anger and desire for power. He discusses this at length (unlike GSK for example Kemper LOVES LOVES LOVES hearing his own voice).

@@laurenochman93 That's a cliché, many people have been condemned on crcunstantial evidence. If you sleep in your bedrrom with the doors and windows closed, and your dog also sleeps in the same bedroom on the carpet, then you wake up in the morning and see a huge dog poop on the it, that is circunstantial evidence, you did not see the dog taking a shit right in there, but that doesn't make the evidence less important or irrelevant. In this video it is obvious that the dog crapped all over the carpet.
Hi Mike hope you had an amazing holiday. Good to have you back twice a week. I’m away from home but the most important thing is I’ve got WiFi for Tuesday and Friday. Priorities 😆♥️
I've been watching this all unfold on the news for years as I live in CT, and this was a great summation of the case so far. I'm not saying Connecticut deserves to be uttered in the same breath as Florida, Texas, and Ontario - but we've had some shocking crimes. Whenever I'm researching and I come across "life insurance" or "inheritance" as a factor, I used to just sing the chorus to Nelly's "Ride Wit Me" - namely, "It must be the monaaay". It goes without saying that I'm waiting for the new inheritance dance. Well done Mike.
Cheshire Murders! I moved to CT almost 10 years ago. My Dad and his wife lived here at that time. When I was thinking of relocating, they were going on a month-long trip about a month later, so it was good timing for me to stay with them and check out the area a bit with their help, learn the pets routines and meet some neighbors, and then they'd be gone a month and I'd house-sit, check out the area some more etc. They were clearing out the DVR one day before they left and had something about the Cheshire Murders. (I think Dateline but I'm not positive.) My whole family is into True Crime so my Dad's wife said, "Oh, you should watch that. It happened not far from here." I did watch it after they were gone and I was alone. Part-way in I thought: this wasn't a good idea to watch this now. 😂 They had 2 big "scary" dogs who were cuddle-muffins with the fam but barked liked crazy beasts if any stranger approached their semi-rural house. Only thing that made me feel safe there! I stayed in CT but moved to a more populated area. Rural or even suburban life is not for me! I still might get murdered where I am but at least my neighbors will hear me screaming. So I'll have a chance. ? 😀 Since then there's also been the Jennifer Dulos case. I agree we're flying under the radar that there are a few too many crazy murders here!
Mike a friend in NY sent me an interesting criminal case. We used to write for the same paper. The case was in Goshen, NY. A 37 y.o. woman, Angelika Graswald, killed her partner by kayak in Hudson Bay. She removed the plug from his kayak and he sunk like a stone. She pleaded not guilty at first. Then she admitted she took out the plug a long time ago and forgot about it. Later she admitted guilt to receive a reduced sentence of 16 to 48 months. There are videos from her interrogation and court visits. It was a unique way to get rid of someone.
I think he tipped over, drowned and she didn't bother to help him. Because he would probably accidently drown her too. But I do feel she is partly responsible.
A very intriguing one this time around, a lot of suspicious behavior & speculation, but nothing solid to grasp at. Although I have to agree with you on this one, it does appear as if he couldn't keep his grubby paws off the cash, so he probably did both murders. I just find it fascinating how if you live in the USA & have access to a lot of money & commit a crime 9 times out of 10 nothing happens to you. Anyway thanks for all your hard work, keep it up & remember we love ya.
One of my favourite Bill Murray lines is in Kingpin when he wins the big bowling tournament. As he's being carried away triumphantly he shouts 'A million dollars! Finally, Big Ern is above the law!'. If you don't laugh you'll cry...
Plenty of doctors in jail. Plenty of upper echelon in prison. Check this very channel out for examples. Not since OJ in the 90s has anyone of celebrity stature gotten away with murder in the US. Forensics, DNA, technology, CCTV and cell phone geotracking make murder nearly impossible for anyone of any fiscal stature to accomplish without being caught in contemporary times. Word.

Tbf people with ASD tend to seem ‘robotic’ or monotone in general. I do think this case is very suspicious though.
Listening to him in interviews makes me chuckle, his speech patterns are like mine when I was younger.
"It must have been terrifying!"
"yes."
Also, there is a stereotype that people on the spectrum cannot lie/have trouble lying.
If we get away with lying it's because of ableism, because people think we aren't competent or all there
Thank you.
So, odd question. How did you get your speech better?

As someone with a kid with autism, it is challenging as the mind of such a kid is just wired differently. Not necessarily malicious like Nathan, just different. from the story of Nathan Carman, it seemed like he had loving people around him, but when his favorite horse died, something broke within him.
I wonder if he's also schizophrenic. Symptoms often don't get bad until someone is in their twenties.
Mike really has a way of narrating. With all due respect to the case, I kept wanting to laugh because of how Mike interjects some thoughts like the boat's name as chickenpox, "isn't that a condition?" . I have to admit, I lost it right there.
"Soak in that sea air, virtually, raise the thingy... sail, and we head off."
My kinda story.

Yes- and not forget that he had a history of psychotic episodes, which are completely unrelated to autism.

Thank you for for sharing this.

Replying to this comment to combat misinformation. CT scan is NOT currently a standard tool in autism diagnosis. As a native Bostonian and now a more recent Vermonter, I can’t believe I did not know about this story. Another tremendous effort, Mike !
Keep your wonderful stories coming….

Ayy, am walking 'ere!

I hope they screen the jury for this kind of extended family bias that many adoptees in the US can not get a fair trial because of.

He’s incredibly guilty, it boggles the mind
Wow the kidnapping part of story. I have a whole new respect for Paris Hilton after hearing how that happened to her. When she confronts her family I was crying.
That place probably brought the evil out.
I saw a couple of documentaries about those schools. They were brutal!

I could listen to you for days. Your wit and sarcasm are so refreshing and funny.
LOL... I couldn't help but laugh when Mikey said the Mistress, 62 years YOUNGER than the grandpa, "earned" her the money if she did him in....
Yeah, I've seen convictions with _far_ less. No question.
Without a doubt?
Being autistic doesn't mean you can't be a scheming piece of shit, my co worker at my previous work was just unable to really understand what people are emoting, he could not distinguish between certain emotions. He also never picked up social ques to understand when to shut up or be tactful when a female co worker's family member died and I was consolidating her. He would just ask stupid questions and not pick up that it was inappropriate to ask certain things.
autistic people can be clever. it isn't "despite" our autism, that's not really fair to say
The kid was loaded. The more money you have, the better defense you can afford.
Nobody believed her because of it"
In short "she didn't seem sad enough to be a victim"
It wasn't a televised case so I have to go off what the lawyer people said. (They talked about it while we watched JD v AH)
Nathan's emotions do not show externally because he doesn't possess any.
@@miatalamasca3723 You must not know many people with autism. What they feel and how they show it often doesn't align with neurotypical people.
Money is the bottom line in almost every case. This is no different. "Murder kid" lol
I certainly hope he didn't allow the horse to suffer and die. Equine colic is agonizingly, horrifically painful. 😭
That’s not evidence.
Im interested in everything you have to say
I watch so many true crime creators but I must say the way you speak and tell a story is very capturing. Keep up the great work

I feel like there's more than enough circumstantial evidence to charge him for his grandfather's murder, especially considering his motives and alibi. Keep us up to date with this one, please Mike.🙌
thats the issue. circumstantial. I highly doubt hed ever be found guilty
It happened not far from here."
I did watch it after they were gone and I was alone. Part-way in I thought: this wasn't a good idea to watch this now. 😂
They had 2 big "scary" dogs who were cuddle-muffins with the fam but barked liked crazy beasts if any stranger approached their semi-rural house. Only thing that made me feel safe there!
I stayed in CT but moved to a more populated area. Rural or even suburban life is not for me! I still might get murdered where I am but at least my neighbors will hear me screaming. So I'll have a chance. ? 😀
Since then there's also been the Jennifer Dulos case.
I agree we're flying under the radar that there are a few too many crazy murders here!
So essentially he killed his grandpa to get inheritance but that money would get gambled away by his mom, so he killed her too.
Ha! Bout sums it up.
Hey mike did that one ☝️
48 months for killing some one? That is insane! A person gets more time than that for car theft
I think he tipped over, drowned and she didn't bother to help him. Because he would probably accidently drown her too. But I do feel she is partly responsible.
She didn't do it, she was pressured into admitting it
They tried to sink a kayake as hard as they could with the plug out and it wouldn't sink
"It must have been terrifying!" - "Um, yes." You can tell he had forgotten he was supposed to pretend to have emotions.

There's a quote that says "I'd rather be rich and guilty than poor and innocent". Pretty sure it was from a rich guy, lol.
Its not uncommon for rich people to get in jail lol

@@thatdamncrow9197 yeah but how often does that happen 😒🙄🤣
Plenty of doctors in jail. Plenty of upper echelon in prison. Check this very channel out for examples. Not since OJ in the 90s has anyone of celebrity stature gotten away with murder in the US. Forensics, DNA, technology, CCTV and cell phone geotracking make murder nearly impossible for anyone of any fiscal stature to accomplish without being caught in contemporary times. Word.
