A Successful Sea Glass Hunt ..... Look at what i found :-)

- So today , i had an impromptu visit to Pentewan , Cornwall , for a dog walk and a bit of a Sea Glass hunt , the sun was shining , it was mild but windy ..... what do i find ... LOADS of Sea Glass , some pottery and a clean of the Beach too !
By the way to shine your sea glass in projects coat them in Modge Podge .....

That was a good haul, love the blue glass, very nice. And well done on removing the rubbish it's an ever growing problem, discusting that needles get discarded like that.

Loved watching and listening to you on this video, I've always collected shells can't help myself and I've just started collecting sea glass so addictive , we have just returned from Marazion spent most of the week on the beach collecting treasures haha.

Treasures! What beautiful pieces you found! Those two cornflower blue ones would make beautiful earrings. My friend and I was in Erie pa yesterday and found some beach glass there. I could spend days and days just looking for it lol.

I love this video! I collect seaglass too. It's such a thrill to go to the beach and not know what one might find. I found some amazing pieces. My collection keeps growing. The pottery piece that you found with black flowers is so pretty and the seafoam and blue ones are my favorite. Thank you for sharing. By the way, I'm a new subbie here. Hi , So happy to have you along , Its holiday season over here in Cornwall at the moment so finds are a little scarce , all the holiday makers are getting there before me lol .... i love to beach comb .... nothing nicer than walking the sands and finding goodies and treasures from the sea ..... @@janewalshaw Same here. Beaches are crowded during the summer months, but once the autumn and winter are here is when I find all those treasures. Walking on the beach is so therapeutic. I take up to 3 hour walks, but time flies when you're having fun. Have a nice week😊

just found your channel today and am enjoying it. I just came back from my first ever visit to Cornwall and found sea glass at polperro i didnt expect that, so was really chuffed. do you have any videos of things you make out of the sea glass and pottery you find I would love to make some jewelry x
Hi Gill, keep watching as it's all in the pipeline... Not long moved home and having a lot of work done at the moment and transforming a outside space to a beading space... Just taking a little bit of time, but will be done within the coming month.. 🙂... Love seaglass hunting, it gets very addictive !! Lol

Went out to one more beach this evening & found a 1935 threepence with a hole in it (Pendant) so I'm happy. xx
sometimes i throw glass into lake ontario so it will become sea glass
I wish I could go to the ocean to go pick some sea glass and sea shells myself I haven't got to a ocean only to lake

I agree with everything you said Camille ....... the coast seems to wash away the cares of life ... i can sit there watching the waves and forget about my troubles ..... i hate leaving the beach once im there ... and yes the added bonus of the sea glass or finds from beach combing ... just fab ! 😊💕

There was a piece at 8.08 sec. that at first glance looked as if it had been "worked" by early man, but at second look the "rock" was probably limestone with small calcite intrusions running through it, It was the wrong kind of rock! Oh, well.
Lol ... i do that all the time , think ive got something amazing ...and turns out to be ...just a rock lol
They are called "Indian Love Stones" ie, just another f'n rock. sorry!
I have found arrowheads all over our western valleys, usually from the "Ute" or "Freemont" tribes, laying on the desert floor... I found one that was a perfect arrowhead, the size of your thumbnail, made from obsidian, that's a volcanic glass... I have pictures of it, I'll see if I can't find it and send it along. I've found knives and arrowheads from the Anasazi Indidans very very old at least for this neck of the woods.
