Oddly enough, building the road at the bottom was wrong. It wouldn't have mattered, but if it was pointing right towards the 9,11, on the last move, you could have actually ported your hand and road settled on the 8,11,12, taking away green's settle win and also emptying your hand to defend the mono. But wouldn't have mattered because green was on 9 and citied for the win, but it's a small detail that's kind of cool.

At the moment I have plastic versions of base game, seafarers, cities and knights, but it's just so annoying to put helmets on the knights and not having a easy flipbook.
Kinda want to get a big nice box. To get everything sorted out.
I think I like wood more personally. I have an organized box where I have the 2 main expansions + 5/6 expansion that all go inside of 2 boxes.

Do you still make Catan content full time?
Nah, I worked 2 other jobs this summer (teaching and consulting) and I’m finishing up my final year of college this year. I just took a gap year 2 years ago and worked on this full time, so it’s been a while since I’ve been poured a full 40 hours a week into UA-cam. I want to do this eventually though!

Hi, I highly appreciate your channel(s), your passion for this game and all that, but here and now, I just wanted to warn everyone what a garbage this Colonist website for playing online actually is, especially when playing with a computer program (aka bots).
I beg you people, never try that shit if you have no one to play with (or because you have a even slightly shorter temper), because the only thing that playing with computer (aka bots) will do is make you lose your nerves and go fuming; guaranteed.
I literally lost it after like 4-5 games because of how obviously fixed that junk is, and it's not about this "sore loser" shit at all. Whenever you obtain a lead or are the only one with more than 7 cards, freely expect that at least 3 out of 5 times a dice will roll a 7 and you'll get robbed like crazy. Oh, and those two other times? It'll likely land a number that you don't have, no matter how strong your numbers are.
The program itself so transparently tries to drag you down as long as you have a lead. If a computer opponent has more than 7 cards, don't expect a dice to land a 7, ever.
2 times in a row a computer opponent had more than 15 cards for like 5 or 6 turns and then suddenly 7 was never rolled.
The whole situation was particularly disgusting in the last game I played (ever), when the bot had 29 cards (TWENTY-NINE CARDS!!!!) and of course, won.
COLONIST IS PURE GARBAGE!
I think the point of Colonist is not bot play
@@willscheib6098 no, first of all, Colonist bot mode doesn't get much easier (or different really) from playing with real players. At all.
Second, you grossly underestimate the difficulty of finding and organizing another 3 people to play online.
