All future videos will be done on full screen (with stream chat). The last few videos were part of a stream where I used the wrong background while recording. Clearly, my board centering skills were lacking during this. Anyways, I appreciate you being here and have an AMAZING weekend crew. Thank you so much!
These were from a recent stream but were not uploaded to UA-cam previously. I will be coming out with some exclusive YT content here soon that isn’t featured on Twitch.
I have agreed with your placements and roads every single video basically until now. Not pointing toward 8-3 i think is a huge blunder and almost cost you. 1. Where else was red going to go, 9-10 is superior to 8-3 for him. No other spot really helps him. 2. Also 8-3 is straight up better if you get the road building anyway. Allows for 8-3 and 5 ore(wheat port) settle spots. Then you just cook all game. You played well and your trades and some good rolls saved you. But having the 9-10 taken made it so you had try and race toward the 3-1. That ended very unlucky but without amazing dev luck all game there was no coming back. A win is a win, and thats catan tho.
Thanks for the comment Bryce. It’s not so clear that 8-3 is the play here. Few things to consider. If you calculate this board it’s very likely the 9311 gets taken over 6311 as mentioned in the video because you get to the 942 faster. Black clearly blundered with his 6311 read. 9311 opens up the 6-3 potentially for me in MOST cases. Typically in OWS games, I play for 2 additional settle spots as this makes my endgame much easier. The 2 main ways I get 83 is road builder or YOP with some good rolls to during the orbit (like the game happened). Building to the 8-3 will be very costly without the devs and slow with only an 11 brick. This is why fast settles will always be best for me like 3:1, 63, or wheat port since my game is predominantly devs and cities. Also IF I pull road builder, it’s usually better I get 2 settle spots out of it than just 1 in a lot of cases. Ultimately, pointing to the 83 from my position is really banking on the road building pull and that’s a risk I don’t need to take as the road builder will always be active for me.
It’s also worth noting that 6411 is objectively better for red over 910, and it’s not even close - sheep port, road connect, trade relationships. It’s not obvious to me 910 is the play at all for him and this is why I said he couldn’t live without wheat.
I think the city on the 8-3 via porting the brick was a mistake. Should have ported the ore to dev and held the brick. Would have left the brick in hand to maybe sneak road if a couple of 9s rolled. plus that 8-3 city was always gonna come easy w your set up.

Thank tou sir! Happy to have you back, would love to play a viewer game, do you plan to do one anytime soon?
I appreciate your attention to board centering ❤😂

Wow what a game. it was very close. The brick steal at the beginning really hurt.
Thanks for the video!
That was a BRUTAL steal! Figured it out in the end with a little bit of luck.
Plus being plowed in the 3:1. I wouldn't have the mental to keep on fighting like he did. Really a masterclass on that sense.
On 23:03 I think the move is to port the ore for a dev. Hold on to the brick in case 9 rolls to take road and ensures you keep army
Was not ready for the video to start with drew saying “big chongi” 😂
With all that wheat spots midgame, that wheat port could have helped a lot, to get that last point.
3:1 would have been amazing too. I was running on a knife’s edge this game considering I produced well but couldn’t use a port.
My bet was to make a road to the right to 38 wheat and then make wheat port at ore 5. Is this idea flawed or Dandy missed he had the wheat port?
Sauers was watching you live lol
Why did full screen stop?
Just in time for my lunch nice
25 secs from upload crazy
@@celeste1013 Nicely done!
insane ending
Yeah he had to do what he did, that was going to be his last turn
Big Chongi was sniping your stream the whole way and not even trying to disguise it!
Pulled that win right out of your butt. Well done
Should have prioritised settling the wheat port sooner
For your final pull, you had a 50% chance of getting the vp.
After all that work and hustle, it came down to a coin flip!
This is kinda random but is this video a repost of an old video?
I was sorta thinking that about yesterday’s upload

I think the reason you are number one and not like number 20 or 30 is your ability to predict plows.

Why is joe rogan’s face on cover? C’mon dandy, doesn’t make sense, put your face 😂
For what it’s worth…you saw the thumbnail, clicked on the video, and proceeded to share a comment. Maybe Joe Rogan worked after all 😎

But I don't know about these thumbnails to be honest.
Don't know why you didn't block and rob red at the start when he had 2 wood in hand!!! Just block his brick and you beat him

Niceeeee 😎
