- Bethesda has been developing new content for 2023 as the Nuka World on Tour files reveal! There is a Mutated Public Event System on the makes, with bonus rewards, as well as a new mission and a mysterious arena key! Meanwhile, for the Fallout 76 NWOT, Bethesda created dozens of new challenges, as well as two new challenge-based events, such as the Nuka-Connoisseur and the Free Cam.
Moreover, new Nuka Cola flavors have been created but they are not going to make it into the live servers... The same goes for a lot of new content made exclusively for the Nuka World on Tour DLC! Lastly, the Fallout 76 Season 12 seems to be under development already. Here's another batch of Fallout 76 news!

Those cut Nuka Cola flavors are actually in fallout 4 and were craftable through the Soda Mixer which provided certain buffs. I personally didnt use them much even though I built the mixer for my settlement, but it would be nice to be able to collect or even display those nuka colas. Although in Fallout 4, many of those mixed flavors had the same color on them when you looked at them. Only a few were different colors.
Yep, i was mostly into crafting donuts and coffee lol. Those all stacked and were really strong.
The nuka cola mixer got cut too. I think the initial plan was to bring them all into 76.
Would have been nice if they actually put out more effort to bring us the cut content list

yeah, the main thing I worry about with Mutated Events, the daily ops' mutations just aren't what you would call "fun".
We'll see what form it takes, if it comes out, but i see people just nope-ing out of events with annoying mutations (like freezing).
Mutated events could have been fun if they actually built onto the events we already have, but just adding the modifiers from Ops feels lazy and quarter assed at best.
Take 'Feed The People' for instance. You could have a Crater denzin hijack Sanjay's broadcast to instruct you how to rig the machine to make powerful drugs/booze from the now fermented soy chunks, but it ends up attracting blood bugs and ants in addition to the usual ghouls/molerats. Instead of stew, you get a long lasting combat drug that also boosts XP.
I hope they wont copy paste daily ops mutatios i hate the melee one
Indeed, I hope they rise up and come up with new mutations, instead of adding existing ones from Daily Ops.
Question is, is Bethesda evil enough to create a resilient mutation for the SBQ or Colossus boss fights?
@@Shanghai_pierce That would be great because when you reach higher levels and have all the end game items all of the events are too easy if you not playing them solo.

Maybe enemies will drop stable flux? It is one of those items no one really bothers to specifically farm but is still quite valuable for crafting ultracite ammo
I farm flux frequently; if I want to swap PA jetpacks or accidentally scrap my Shielded Underarmor.
Flux dropping from enemies would literally defeat the entire purpose of getting it from nuke zones. It's an end game item meant for harder accessibility. The way they want you to get it is in nuke zones or killing the queen which rewards you some different stable flux. one you make some ultracite ammo you can just farm some in the daily ops and get more ammo for free anyways
@@matthewflores4183 or just go buy 5000 of each type of flux for $5 like most people do, even if they wont admit it.

I would really want new missions for the Raiders and Settlers. 3 missions over both factions is 12 to few.
With these new challenges for S.C.O.R.E I wish they'd update Atom Challenge.. Allow us to reset the Challenges to earn free atoms again. It of course sounds bad from a business standpoint but it would add more replayability along with being rewarded for doing so.
Who doesn't want to be able to earn free atoms again aside from just Seasonal Content

Thankyou Innov appreciate all you do.. Revitalised events is a must great forsight there. And also bring back pvp with arena events. Now all we need is a full mole miner quest bigger than steel reign bringing us all underneath appalacia!
If data miners were able to access Coca Cola’s R&D department, I suspect they’d find some very interesting cut content there too…

In the future they should have faction based season passes. If they did a BOS season they could implement daily and weekly challenges like close a fissure with a nuke, kill 3 SBs for score, etc… maybe even introduce gold vendors for the faction in that particular season. At the least these seasons should add minor characters either quest givers or camp allies with small side quests. Did everyone forget about the locked off section of the enclave bunker? I would love to see something happen with that at some point. I miss back in year 2 of this game when they teased they were going to have faction based vendors, now that we have the raiders and settlers maybe the enclave, and bos should get a gold bullion vendors
I was on the PTS one day and ended up on a team with MadDokGrot. I thought that was pretty cool, until the next day when you ran right past me.

I wonder if the mass spawn of mirelurks at the toxic barrel event wasn't a complete mistake but a glimpse of a possible mutated event. Like a horde mutated event.
Perhaps the key opens the mine door behind the test your metal arena ??

I think the Mothman at that location was meant to be invincible.
Like a guardian, over looking the area.
Also, I took a picture of my main character with that Mothman.

The buffs look very useful but the system behind it is rather complex. I'm a bit afraid abut bugs here...
5:00 did anyone know how to get through the chain door that saw the back of the metal arena on the outside of it where the minecarts are at
Mutated events which sounds like the daily ops but this sounds pretty cool although it's going to be very funny if it's couple the mutation that people don't like such as being mortality one that you got mainly them when they are low health
I cant wait to stream this event.

Mutated events are great, but we need to be able to HOTSWAP with a quick menu click between builds. This nonsense of having to use a machine for it needs to go if they want Mutations across such a wide portion of the overall game. It's too dang cumbersome atm to swap your build.
It's a good thing they are adding more to the world. Now they should hurry up with 30 hours of story across all factions, repeatable with rewards like your standard consumables, lunch boxes, gold, stamps etc for those of us who like to run story missions over and over.
If the Milkman is legit, expect Brahmin in camps to increase exponentially.
I would love the ability to hot-swap classes on the fly. You don't know how many times I was crafting at my CAMP using my crafting perk loadout, then an event starts and I forget to switch back to my heavy gun class. Even having legendary perks for each loadout would help.

Will the weapon repair and armor repair buffs be like the Intel perks that do the same? If so then I think it is going to be horrible with those two as I stopped using those perks because I found that if I had repaired a weapon or armor to 200% durability with the proper repair perks, it would go off and reduce my gear to 100% durability.
The description is a bit confusing but it probably will have a similar effect as repair perks.
@@InnovSurvivalist If so then that is going to cause a lot of problems which most may think will be a durability bug, like the one for the energy weapons not long ago. Here is to hoping it does not cause problems, and everyone will have fun with what seems to be one of the best updates since Wastelanders.

2:14 how do you get those to spawn? I used to see them when i was new, I'm lv1404 and only once did I get the event to clean the lake.
This was a bug when the Pass the Bucket daily was active.

WTAF is happening to Fallout? I don't recognize this game as "Fallout" anymore... it's like... some other game with a Fallout theme.
I only run a couple mutations myself; Speed Demon & Healing Factor.
I think they are planning to extend Daily Ops's concept with the enemy mutations and double rewards into Public Events.

I would welcome a new PvP mode after they finally get Legacies and Illegally modded weapons out of the game. As for the 'Mutated Events' I feel that would give all of us End Game players something new. I look forward to this. Now for the Scout Banners... they seem like they are worthless. The effects are pretty lame and aren't enough of an incentive for me to buy any in the Atomic Shop. More Nuka-Cola flavors is great, but I would prefer to have new recipes for foods in-game.
I think its pretty sus that season 12 is already prepped, part of me feels like its cause of bethesdas track record of rushing things and worry of no storyline content for 2023 something we havent had since july 2021 (part 2 of the bos storyline)

They disabled it for a bit and then brought it back in the PTS.

Thanks for your content but holy mother of cakes - im baffled that people are excited for stuff that incompethesda develops in their lunchbrakes, instead of fixing bugs that are present since release, like their new update next week ( yeehaa 3 new events - im so happy - content for the next 5 years XD ). Wth - any of you fans ever played real games that deliver content? - your brain must explode ;)
I feel the same way. I love fallout so much so I'm just itching for more content. I think its pathetic that this is all the content we get for the next couple months. Most content that gets added is just replayable stuff that you'll be bored of after a couple tries. It's really disappointing but I'm addicted to the game since its fallout and it's my favorite franchise.
They have been fixing game breaking bugs already idk what you want from them lol they may not be the most amazing dev team when it comes to maintaining a balanced and fixed game but they come around. Atleast better then most devs lol.

Daily ops mutations in public events? No thanks.. I play this game solo and there’s a couple that are just a nope for me.
Can you imagine eviction notice with greatly enhanced perception and freezing attacks? Yeah no thanks. Try that on a few 3 star fire starters.

I think I don’t want any pvp in the game and they should have striped that out over legacies so the arena concept is more shit the game doesn’t need imo
An arena system would only work if they can remove duped pvp armor sets. Which they cannot. So its a dead idea unless they somehow can force player characters to be naked or something. Without any legacy weapons you would never be able to kill a Bloodied player in Unyielding power armor or perfectly matched sets of regular armor you can buy for a few dollars online. Everyone cheering on the legacy removal have not thought far enough ahead, now they can cry about not being able to kill people in pvp LOL. Plus there are other hacks going on that we know about which make legacy weapon removal a bad joke. Not to mention several illegal weapons they cant get rid of. We shall see what kind of ham-fisted way they take care of the problems that are about to emerge.
All I can say is that if they add mutated events to public gameplay (like Daily Ops) then this game is dead to me. Every other week seems to have double mutations and they are annoying enough and are not compulsory.
Ready for this. I played on Xbox for 3 years haven't played for about a year and something until I restarted on pc. It's about damn time they did something Nuka related.
About "mutated events" my speculation is it's a soft way to break the bloodied meta. It's to the point new players don't believe there is any other way to play. If they encourage players to nuke events and spend frequent and extended time in rads it has the potential to push players away from bloodied builds. Assuming the hacked weapon fix eventually extends to all the unyielding power armor on PC this could have as big of an effect on balance as removing legacies and 99% of players will never even feel the nudge.
Mutated event could be fun if Bethesda is creative, if its copy paste of daily ops no thanks!!!

I really just don’t think anybody wants ‘mutated’ events. Does anyone enjoy doing daily ops? I know I don’t but maybe there are some folks out there who love it. Idk.
The only daily app I despise and don't actively enjoy is the melee only now a couple of the maps I absolutely will refuse to run like the burning mines
I do, they add challenge and extra rewards. The variety helps. But we need an option to hotswap builds in menu.
I hope they add something refreshing... and it's not Daily Ops in the open world.
@@stevenparks6700 the melee only Ops is fun when you use automatic melee weapons like the shredder minigun or autoaxe, add a vampires legendary effect and it becomes very easy.
I really like daily ops because of some quick action and it is the only content that is remotely difficult (when it has double mutations). After you reach a certain level and unlock all the gold bullion items the game gets way too easy and one shotting things is very boring to me.

Open/ public worlds already have mutated enemies, same mutations as daily ops....likely a bug but it is already a thing
We badly need pvp events. Monster mash isn't particulary interesting , hunter vs hunted gives weak rewards. We need something like the now removed nattle at Fort Picket with apropiate public event rewards. And with the removal of hacked and legacy weapons there's no more excuse.
