This a****** almost destroyed my daughter's OS Ty Tessmann engine!!! She came in and asked for tools cleaner engine. What I asked her what exactly she planned on doing, she showed me this video then she said she was going to take her engine apart clean. He didn't show the pinch bolt that hold the carburetor on, the needles in the carburetor, the Piston being at top dead center for the backplate, the shims to go in top of the engines button head, difference between the front and back of the rod, front and back of piston, the compression collar for the flywheel, ECT... I'm pissed off!!! I paid a lot of money for her engine! O.S 110% Ty Tessmann engine are not cheap!!!
The piston-conrod and crank mounting sequence isn´t accurate at all but you got a pretty useful video for newcomers and the best of all is I understood what is Inventor for...!...good job...
Great animation! The only problem is that some things were done in an impossible order where one thing would block another from going in, but other than that, I loved it!
The window on the crankshaft is faultly timed, and lets the carburetor spit air, instead of sucking. The window shouldn´t open at the moment the piston starts its downward-travel, but more of half-a-turn later.
You have that so messed up! If someone watching this trying to put a engine together you're going to break it bad!! #1 you didn't even put the pinch bolt in to the carburetor to hold it in, #2 the Piston has to be at top dead center to put on the backplate or you're going to break the skirt of the a pistol, #3 the piston cann ot go into the top of the sleeve!!!, Did not show the compression collar for the flywheel!, ECT... YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW THESE ENGINES WORK SO DO NOT TRY SHOW PEOPLE HOW THEY WORK! You're lucky I asked my daughter what she was doing when she come asking for tools!! Told me and showed me this video I was highly upset because she was going to use it to work on her engine!! I assure you if she would have you would have been hearing from my lawyer because that's a $700 engine I cannot afford to replace because she seen your video!!!!! As long as this has been on here I can't imagine how many engine do you have destroyed with misinformation! And how you have not been sued yet is beyond me!

So does the cylinder act like a piston and when the fuel and air mixture ignite it pushes the cylinder up witch makes the crank shaft rotate or did I just totally get it wrong. Oh wait but that means you would need a spark plug... but did I get it right or no?
This engine can not operate, the piston skirt is too short and the exhaust port communicates with the crankcase at TDC. A beautiful plan is not an exact plan. Autodesk engineers are donkeys.
You know nothing about these engines! He got everything wrong!!! Just as an example the Piston cannot go into the top of the sleeve, the Piston has to be at top dead center to put on the backplate, the rod and piston both have a front and a back if you get either one wrong you will destroy the engine, he did not show the shims that go on the button head, did not show the pinch nut that holds the carburetor on, did not show anything about the glow plug, did not show anything about the compression collar for the flywheel, ECT...
The fuel is ignited by the compression cause’ it’s hot when the engine has been running for a while, but when you start it cold you need a thing (don’t remember what it’s called) that makes the glowplug glow, when the engine is getting hotter you don’t need that thing anymore because as I said, it ignites on the compression
Are these small RC wankel rotary engins the ones that are usually used in RC cars? An actual inline or v style piston engine at that size would be expensive wouldn't it? because its harder to make and adding the oil etc. EDIT I just realized this is a cylinder 2 stroke engine, but are rotary's usually used? Also I didn't seem to see your spark plug it there? thanks for the help!
Wankel engines are not normally used in rc cars, these 2 stroke-nitro engines are. These aren't normal gasoline 2 stroke engines, they are sometimes called glow engines. These glow engines sort of act like a diesel, but act more like a 2 stroke gasoline engine. They have glow plugs, not spark plugs; and run on a mixture of methanol, nitromethane, and oil. The glow plugs have a filament which is heated until it glows which helps in combustion. The glow plug is just always hot and combusts the gas when it is compressed like in a diesel. Hope this helps.
No it's not!!! not if you know anything about these engines!!! This a****** almost cost me $700! read my comment on the main to see exactly what he did wrong and how he almost cost me that money! And he did a lot wrong!!

right

The crankshaft's hole is in wrong position, so the fuel inlet timing is bad, but very nice animation.

You forgot about the clutch spring ;) But its great work.
The best animation until 2021
Nah man need to re do this work
Nicely done 👌, now for some FEA😀
How how does it ignite the fuel mixture without a sparkplug ?
fuel compression like in diesel creates heat, so the fuel ignite
glow plug at starting would help to warm the fuel
How long did it take for you to model this!?
Der Motor dreht in die andere richtung
Are this 2 stroke? How is the ignition process?
Yes two cycle compression ignition engine
very informative
me podrias pasa el motor por email? gracias
