I would like to see how can I use it for live performance (by inputting note live rather than drawing in the screen). Alsonhow can I on the fly change to various loops by key switch. Basically no screen touch playing techniques.
The drag and drop aspect looks nice for pieces using a randomizer, for example. Think an Atom user should have this one alongside, or INSTEAD of? Thanks Leo
I can play midi keyboard thru Heium. then record the notes. but when I play it back no notes come out even though I can see them but oddly the sustain pedal noise I hear coming thru from recording...
@@soundformore yeah not sure what to try at this point. I can record notes from external keyboard all day but either it doesn't play back or it plays garbage back. not feeling too bright for such a basic thing. restarted iPad same thing. output says its connected...
SOLVED! even when I shut off iPad it opened back up with all my apps opened. closed all the apps. unplugged connected usb hub. restarted. connected usb hub. opened AUM and tested Helium - worked perfectly! either conflict with other open audio apps - or conflict with too many sleep-wake cycles and usb hub communication. iPads are great but still nervous to use professionally onstage.... but soon! ; )
Hello, I notice a problem: When I record a loop using my SUSTAIN pedal (a piano sound for example) , the notes appear in the piano roll but doesn’t sound. Please help! Thanks
@@soundformore No I don’t , i press the sustain pedal just when it is necesary (a ballad pattern for example, using Ravenscroft piano app) . But for some reason when i record a loop using the sustain pedal , the notes turn off and then i have to restart Helium :(

It supports remote looping switch... but I do not think this is a replacement to Atom 2 or LK...
I didn’t notice a copy and paste option for midi notes, maybe it’s coming . But otherwise great App
Copy, paste, cut and duplicate are in there under clipboard... hold on the clipboard icon and they will appear...
