Great demo Doug and congrats on the new iPad - I have one too, lovely bit of kit. Also, many thanks for including XL! On the topic of swing, I added a super-subtle 52% shuffle to touchscaper a while back and folks seemed to like it, when you don't want that classic / obvious swing thing. Something Paul might like to consider maybe.
So sorry mate! Can you believe I fell asleep and woke after midnight... thinking of damn Doug is playing with Helium at 8pm. A few notes for people watching, you can configure up to 16 output ports by long pressing menu (4 by default). To remove a loop on the ruler simply double tap.I must say though you did a fantastic job at showing off the main features mate. I will try and stay awake for your new album tonight.

I can record into Helium and I see the notes but playback doesn't play the sound even though I can play it thru by midi, although it does play back the sustain pedal sound but not the notes....
Helium is great, but I’m wrestling with when to use AUM and Helium versus a DAW like Cubasis? Clearly, AUM doesn’t support audio recording, like vocals. But so much of my creative is midi sequenced, Helium looks extremely capable.
I’m new to Helium, but am I seeing different loop regions on each track playing at the same time?
I don't know if there is an update that changed it, but I've been trying to replicate the independent looping around the 9 to 14 minute mark. Just can't get it to do it. It would be useful to have the overall track playing and then be able to loop a portion of a single track - doesn't appear to do this now. Shame.
Can a midi track be muted?
Doug will this let you import a midi file I made in fl studio? And is there a specific way to export a midi to be able to import it into Helium or any other program even do mobile. Because I haven’t been able to import it. Fl mobile sees it but fails to import m.. thinking the export settings is wrong.
