I have had atom for a minute then just picked up helium because it was in a bundle… the randomize feature and the built in chords are nice but i feel atom is def superior… I am a huge fan of 4pockets though too so I figure one more for the collection
I like comparison videos like this. And i happened to be looking into atom and helium as well. There’s apps you wonder which ones better to get. Can atom be used on Roland ZENBEATS since I would prefer atom piano roll. And I’m also in the market for a MULTITRACKER. If you tried MultiTrackerPlugin by 4pockets and MultiTracker DAW, which is the best choice. And supposedly 4 pockets HELIUM & MultiTrack seem to go hand on hand, according to helium app description
Helium is very capable, I just prefer atom's look . I just tried zen beats and scanned all my auv3 and Atom or Helium popped up . Ive had multi tracker but never used it but thanks to you I found a suitable use. I will see if it fits my work flow .
Helium and Atom are probably the best 2 piano rolls at the moment.So either or would be fine. I personaly find it is easier to work in Atom. I usually use Helium for generating random patterns( since we can't do that in Atom, yet) So if price isn't the issue , I say get booth , I believe atom will only get better.

I find overall that Atom 2 is better. However Helium has better velocity adjustments.
Agreed. Atom was first and on its 2nd version. I like Helium’s random generator

Helium happens to be 7$, which is not bad, while Atom 2 is like 20$. But it seems atoms the superior one
So only atom can make this trick with multiple instruments in one ?What about Helium?
They both can do it . I prefer the colors atom uses to show the different channels . Helium has some nice randomizer.
