Real time muting groups...this is amazing especially for drum layers! and for controlling some groups with generative sequences! and the layer sequencers...just wow!
Indeed, over 100 layers with their own sequencers… this app also can control cc messages as well to create changes to filters as an example in synths in real time as you mute and mute and play around layers…
This is amazing, trusts me, a sequencer for each layer? configurable? That is what I wanted for my Roland Fantom that never happened? It beats number of arps on montage and other keyboards. Really the iPad is giving some hard times to ROLAND, Korg and Yamaha… although at least Korg and Yamaha have multiple arps on their flagship workstation, not like Roland…
Thanks for another helpful tutorial. It looks like Midi Layers has the ability to turn a midi keyboard into an arranger keyboard. It will take some work but you can probably set up and save song specific Midi Layers performances that will be more fun to use than the generic styles on an arranger.
Have you seen what you can do now with layers? You can almost use it as an arranger or you can use it to have multiple arpeggios with the sequencer for each layer… amazing…
“But it doesn’t stop there”.. famous last words when dealing with any of Paul’s apps.. 😁 Hey Leo, this looks like a very customizable arranger.. really appreciate the demo.. this way I have some idea of what to do with it in case I win it..🤞 I’m sure there’s a lot more functionality + scenarios that you’ll cover in future vids.. and there’s no way Paul is finished with it yet.. Thank you..
Great video as always Leo.! Not sure why this app hasn’t gained more traction out on the Audiobus forum. Paul keeps outdoing himself. Game changing is probably a term that is a bit overused sometimes. I don’t think this is one of those times. I’d love a copy!
Hi thanks for the tutorial! I spent last few days setting up a complex workflow so I can do some of these tricks. Midi layers look amazing. I have two questions; can you assign a cc to the "key" so you can transpose with a knob or smt. Also can you assign a cc for "learn start" and "learn end" buttons?
@@soundformore I would like to transpose individual layers or the whole set up or down using a knob on my hardware controller. I guess I would be able to do it if the "Key:C" button next to the tempo on the app screen was assignable via the Midi Control parameter section of AUM (assuming the one on the screen functions as a transpose button)
I bought this immediately after seeing your video, Leo. Looks like Paul beat AUM to an update.
Fantastic, there is much more to come…
If I am not too late I would love to throw my hat in!
No, not too late
Thanks for another great and very helpful video Leo, cheers!
Thank you

Another winner from Paul. Hope I can win this!
Yes, this is for sure a winner app
Thanks for the demo Leo, like all of Paul’s apps, this app looks very useful.

@@soundformore You’ve convinced me! Thanks. I’m going to get it.
It is simply impressive that the app brings so much more to the table than just managing a few keyboard layers. Awesome! Once again, Paul is da man!
Such a great app with sequencers…
You are a machine dude, pumping out so much helpful content it’s unreal. Love to win a copy of midi layers. Cheers!
Thanks and good luck

Exactly the point… songs or specific performances…
Thx Leo for another great demo

Id like to win MIDI-Leo! 😂 Great tutorial maestro, Paul made another magic app!
Good luck and it is a magic app…. :)

@@soundformore thank you very much!
You are welcome
Thanks Leo for this excellent tutorial - you have a gift for presenting material and the inclusion of PIP in this one is a great idea. Cheers 👍🏼
Thank you, you are welcome
Woodsynth has 4 layers that all allow for independent sequencers.
This is something else…

I am really excited by this app… it gives lots to think to Korg, Roland, Yamaha, a sequencer for each layer…
Real time muting groups… amazing…
A very helpful tutorial Leo. Thanks, this is obviously a must have. I’m in.
Well said, it is in my opinion…
Interesting. Thanks for the demo!
Really good app…
Fantastic 🤩Wonderful Thanks
Yes, yes… much more to come as well…
This seems to be a powerful tool.
It is indeed, and very straightforward… I know I keep saying it but a sequencer for every layer… lots of fun…

Another really interesting app from 4Pockets. How does Paul do it?
Great developer, great network…
Wow thanks would love to win
This is amazing… you can do so much with it…
Looks like a great app! 4 pockets does some great stuff. Thanks for the video, Leo!
Absolutely amazing what you can do now with this app…
Great Plugin! Thanks for the helpful Tutorial! Is there still a chance to win it?
Yes
Thanks for this Leo, please randomly generate my name 🤞🤜
Very funny

Same for the Learn Start and End buttons. If they are assignable through Midi Control parameters in AUM it would be great =)
I will propose it
I will propose it
@SoundForMore Tutorials Do you know if it works just as well in Drambo??
Yes it does
how is your midi keyboard powered? powered by ipad or you have a seperate power source for midi keyboard
Powered by iPad in this case…
@@soundformore Do you think the midi keyboard drains the battery quickly? I have m audio oxygen 49
It depends on what you mean by quickly, but yes… you can connect all to a hub and power it with an external power supply as well…
@@soundformore ok thanks!
