Hi MotivatedBuilder, thank you for the kind words and yes, it's a relatively small channel as it stands which is why the amount of engagement surprises me. Love the fact that the channel has lower numbers but really decent interactivity.... another reason why the Arma community rocks!
There seem to be a few new skins for vehicles, too. A pink skin for the Desert Offroad and up armored versions (may be for the CTRG „SAS“ style?). For the Box Truck a complete white and a yellow skin
I think comparatively (against the likes of SOG, GM, CSLA) your right, it wasn't pushed as much as one might expect. They might have been cautious after csla? I dunno really. It's a perfectly palatable cDLC at its price point which will no doubt go on sale again for a further bargain. Also, it might be owing to it being super focused 2035 content. Not everyone is a fan of the setting and/or desert.
Definitely the same chassis, maybe slight variations where it slopes down. So more of a variation than a new Vic I suppose. However it is nice to have options. The Marid HMG I can easily see it being used in "separatist" and rebel factions with reskins... hopefully Aegis takes advantage of the new toys as WS is already a dependency as it stands
Good spot, also a good question, it was on the patch notes as new and listed in the arsenal as a WS item. I'll follow this up when I get back from work.
Yes the light fatigues are a free item added with the tac ops dlc. The new light combat fatigues seem to have a little bit more ballistic protection (in virtual arsenal) and have kneepads
Does all this new gear apply to the standard unmodified survival game mode that comes with the DLC like will I be able to get the new stuff off dead enemies?
A great update for a superb CDLC. Great value.
As someone who plays with a South African Milsim unit. We all screamed for joy when we saw the the R5 and attachment updates.
yuuuup
polisario front&marroco military
I watched two of your videos before realizing your channel was so relatively small. What you've done thus far is fantastic. Keep up the good work!

Now I can a see a propper contact dlc being sucessful, it would be nice if bohemia decide to revamp contact dlc mission with this new freak stuff.
Anything that expands the established Arma lore would be appreciated. Western Sahara price point and 2035 content was quite palatable tbf

Oh nice, I'll check it out next time I jump in the garage. 👍
Great breakdown, man!
I really liked the original DLC campaign. It’s pretty amazing
I didn't even know there was a Western Sahara DLC, that has apparently been out 11 months ! Great marketing BIS ! /s

The new BTR-T, is it the old BTR-K but with a new turret or is it an entire new body as well?

Quality over quantity, this is what I like to see.
I'm 100% sure the "magic substance" is based off the Spice in Dune
isnt the light combat fatigue hex already ingame, already used by north african csat? So what's the difference with this one?

@@Cyberwolf1989 thank you 👍
Ah yes, just what I always wanted, Arma Sensei Negima.
In all seriousness this is kinda interesting, kind of like Contact.

Pretty sure extraction mode utilizes new gear. I'd hazard a guess that they've added it to the gear pool of the survival/wave defence mode as well.
I played this and maybe this isn't very story telling but for me it was interesting that he was only dreaming or maybe not?
I think he is just high on magic tea. And CSAT wants the magic tea too so they can create the next war crime machine
I just bought it and I can’t see it or use it in game like I got none of the stuff or even the showcase 😊
You have to select and a activate the dlc first in the selection window before you actually start the game
Cool, kinda wish DLC-added buildings were made destructible tho.
Interesting, could have sworn they had destroyed/ruined models - considering most were retextured and upgraded Arma 2 OA assets
Can you save progress in muiltplay?
Not tried with buddies yet, it set up as a DM judging from lobby. edit: ill locally host and find out soon enough
Am I dreaming???
Wtf
Literally no one cares, hardly anyone plays ARMA3, let alone, obscure DLCs, for it, lol.
Then why the hell you click on this video, lol.
Do you only exist to spread misinformation and cry salty little baby tears?
