The Forgotten Few 2 is great. I like Dynamic Recon Ops, but find it a bit “soulless”. TFF2 really adds a sense of purpose with the strategic element and having to manage your resources, etc. The other great thing about TFF2 is that it works so well, which is a miracle for an Arma experience! All the AI helicopters with just work. It’s great!

forgotten few is insane in it's scope and how well it is executed!! me and my brother had a mission in nam where we ended up losing support in the jungle and had to hoof it many many km's back towards friendly teritory avoiding patrols just for a simple hostage rescue mission turned bad.
I like this game mode. But it would have been better if more factions were compatible such as those from RHS. Anyway, great video again!!
Hands down the best dynamic campaign on the workshop.
If you like dynamic recon ops but want a campaign then do not hesitate and play it today.

Awesome video, thank you so much for making it. I'm brand new to Arma. Been playing about a month now and all on Antistasi Ultimate on varios maps. It's starting to get a little stale since as the war level increases, Antistasi kinda seems to turn into a RTS which isn't my jam so I'm looking for another scenario to sink my teeth into. I have Apex and SOG so can try a few different maps for the forgotten few 2 if I like. I'm thinking of starting with Altis though because in my mind that is the noob map. What do you think? I'll be playing solo.

Lol yeah, its always tree or pebble propelled rocket fuel for vehicles within Arma.
I love loading into the editor and learning some basic scripting...but i spend too much time for not enough pay off 🤣

Before i started watching this, I said to myself "I bet this is going to be Forgotten Few".
Played it for quite a while when I started playing Arma and it was awesome. Had some squad management glitches that ruined the fun a little bit, but I'm betting those problems have been fixed since.

if you haven't tried it yet, treat yourself. It's a real challenge to keep your group up for a few months.

Yes, upto 12 players. Although more mission choice if just keeping to coyote squad ( 6 players )

No, only the Vietnam maps & sog ai require the Vietnam dlc.
You'll be fine playing on the other maps as they only have mod dependencies.
What settings do you usually use for FF2?
For the actual mission/campaign settings normally default, depends on how much madness I want. Graphical settings? Normally high and the mod ch view distance to control the FPS abit more.

FF2 is absolutely a work of art - it's incredible what they did with UI and scripting, and it feels like a total conversion more than just a simple game mode. I really wish this was something Bohemia would have pursued instead of their half-baked attempt with Combat Patrol. But at the end of the day the ARMA III turd can only be polished so much. The performance, terrible AI, and the general clunkiness of ARMA III can't be enhanced - no matter how hard modders try. For me, FF2 hit an 'ARMA Ceiling' - signs of a game engine built in the 1990s - and all of the wonderful features added were still limited by all of the ARMA-isms that kill the experience for me.
Hey Apoc, good to hear from you. Oh for sure, we've had a couple of discussions highlighting the frailties of Arma 3. The RV engine no matter how much BI or modders try will always be the limiting factor here. Revolutionary for its time but over the years, despite the new plastering/rendering from Arma, Arma 2 and now 3... The clunkiness has been one constant.
Much like Combat Mission though...there's nothing for me personally that satisfies that certain itch. Even though Arma remains somewhat popular and its in a market that wont see too much competition. Sure there's awesome tactical shooters out there but they are generally scaled down experiences. BI are under no pressure, bar their community, to push forward.

So far I am very impressed with what possibilities that REFORGER brings. Although it has no SP content for now, the cooperative games that I've had were great fun and I can't wait to see more content in the future. Maybe I'll even get a chance to join you and your elite ranks in some Liberation again!
