@@johnnyboy8657 Thanks a lot, as usual! I just tried it and it brings an inconvenience: When SOG AI is initialised, I can no longer switch to another team member. (U)
@@Saintaw Yes, that is a disadvantage of SOG AI. It requires a lot of code changes to switch all the AI scripts to new leader, so for now I disable team switch. For me the gains of a responsive team out weigh the loss of team switch.
Just started using this and it works reasonbly well in Extraction but there are some bugs that make it not ideal. You are supposed to be able to team switch with "U" key when rearming because it costs $250 and how you re arm your whole squad with one purchase. The team switch is disabled when SOG AI turns on and doesnt work with the mod enabled or disabled through middle mouse menu. Another bug Im running into that I cant seem to resolve is the leapfrogging stops working after some time. The squad will just say there are too many wounded and go prone. They are all healed up but I think it happened after a bunch got wounded and revived.
Agreed! The lack of team switch with SOG AI enabled makes this a not very viable way to play. You basically can't rearm your squad mates. Also, I noticed that when the player character dies, you don't get the proper ending screen, you have to alt tab out of the game and kill it with task manager. I think this is also due to lack of teamswitch, because in vanilla Western Sahara, it would allow you to switch to another team member if you die.
@@AlanHamilton-x8q The Tab key is default SOG Prairie Fire key definition for their "Gesture Menu". In Controls, click the Custom tab to see Gesture Menu key definition. My guess is you do not have the Prairie Fire DLC loaded, or you have another mod that is using the Tab key for another purpose. Good luck.
Very nice!!! I now have a very good reason to finally purchase this DLC 😄
Thanks, man 🙏
Right on. 7$ in the USA...you can't beat that!
@@johnnyboy8657 $8.95 here in 'Straya. With SOG AI compatibility. Best purchase ever? 🤨
I was about to ask for this!
I'm a mind reader! :)
