I've been playing pxg for 2 years and I absolutely love them. 0311 xp irons are so sweet, feel better than the blades I played for 10 + years. The 3 wood is absolutely the easiest to hit from the turf I've ever owned.
Having just been fitted a week ago, I could not agree more with your overall assessment of PXG. 2 and half hours of hitting balls wears you out, but the detail they go to in fitting is amazing. And as you said no other brand offers stand alone stores. Can’t wait to take my clubs out on the course. Total time fitting to delivery with holiday was 9 days.
I was in for a fitting for irons last weekend. I came in for some 0311 irons and ended up with 0211Z hybrid iron with as senior flex. (sux getting old) I am now just wait for delivery.
I was supposed to get fitted last year but due to a family emergency I had to cancel. Want to reschedule and get some new irons in my bag. New subscribed
Bryan thank you for sharing! Love them or hate them PXG is making some very good clubs at this time. A strong fitter, which they have, can help even a “bad” golfer with forgiving quality equipment, fitted to you and your “sh**y” game. They have found a way to make recreational golf fun!!
This his probably too late, but don't trust the over the phone fitting! I'm 5'6 and I was told I should go with the shorter shaft. The in person fitting proved that advice to not necessarily be true!
I am debating between the PXG Gen 7 XP or the PXG Black Ops 5 - PW , GW other than the 520 canadian dollars difference in price I am still having a tough time choosing ( I know first world problems ) I am 59 and play with a 8 handicap arthritis and father time is catching up to me so i am looking for something forgiving and easy to hit and something for distance also your thoughts ? or anyone elses is welcomed thx cheers from Canada
I traded out my Taylor Made Stealth driver for the 0311 gen 6 I like it alot. I'm playing the Taylor made p790's and thinking about moving my Irons over to PXG my next go round
Sorry, I hate to do this but in your video you didn't gain anywhere close to 12-15 yards from your stock driver. On the screen it showed your gamer numbers at 99mph swing speed, 147 ball speed, for a total of 274.7 yards. Then you hit the Black Ops and the swing you claimed +12 yards showed 100.5 mph club speed but a total of 255 yards (due to the 3270 estimated spin). Then on the next swing where you claimed +15 yards, it showed your speed at 101.1mph with a total of 278.3 yards (with estimated spin at 2160). Don't get me wrong, I think the PXG Black Ops driver is fantastic and I game one myself but at around 100mph swing speed, you can't possibly pick up 12-15 yards from ANY decently fitted driver that has come out in the past few years. The physics of it just aren't possible. Since you're an instructor, I doubt your TM driver was fit that poorly, especially based on the numbers shown with it in your video. I know you're now selling PXG and I love their products myself, but you shouldn't mislead people into claiming you picked up 12-15 yards when you clearly didn't. I think you definitely did see maybe a couple yards gain once you got your swing speed over 100mph and I'd love to see the entire data set with both your gamer and the fitted PXG to see the actual gain/loss.
@@erniedecarlo6882 At 8:43 he starts hitting the Black Ops driver. On the screen behind him it shows 99mph swing and 147 ball speed which I'm assuming were his own driver numbers since he hadn't started hitting the PXG yet. The swings after that are all w/ the Black Ops driver.
Since I play golf, I no longer believe in miracles. NO GEAR GIVES YOU 15 EXTRA MILES. Instead of spending thousands $ in new clubs, give $500 to a good teacher for few lessons and you'll increase your distance and lower your score more surely. Claiming sometimes else is only marketing (or lie).
PXG don't have no middleman. So they get all the profits . When you buy from PGA superstore and Golf Galaxy half of that driver price goes to them stores.

Did the fart @ 9.19 give you any extra distance?
Blatant fart lol

So I could fitted at a store then buy from you for potentially better price?
I have an over the phone fitting tomorrow because I live to far away for a in person fitting. Hoping to get a set of these clubs in my hands soon!

@@mmacon01 it is far to late. But luckily everything worked well and my set is great.
Why would you not mention the exact shaft or settings you went with? Even your lengths? Odd
Looks good. Did not know there was a pxg store in detroit. Need to check it out.
I'm going to the Detroit store next week for a lucky 7 fitting. If I order from you would I get a discount?

What would you suggest for just a average golfer
What are the standard lofts on the irons, and can one get them adjusted to lofts preferred ?
I love their clubs, I have a full set
Steel fiber?

Just a question. How did you see his normal club numbers? I never saw him hit any.

Well said!
Great video!
here is the thing though, no matter what clubs you have if you have a shitty swing, you still have a shitty swing and need to get lessons to fix it
Great video, I do have a question, I’m a high handicaper so I’m wondering how forgiving their clubs are?
What would be benefit of buying through you?
Go Blue!!!
Enough with the fart comments lol 😂 you guys are killing me
