- PXG Golf makes some of the most expensive golf clubs on the market. While their prices have come down since their first launch they still go for crazy prices on the used golf club markets like eBay and Mercari. We finally found a decent deal while we were out thrifting for golf clubs. Do they deserve the high price tag like established brands like Titleist, Ping and Taylormade??

Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf UA-cam channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

That persimmon driver didn't look like it had ever been hit!! It's in amazing condition! The Bob Rossberg irons were the first clubs I ever used. My best friend's father owned them and he did not like playing golf, so he gave them to me for doing some yard work! Everyone in the neighborhood knew I loved doing gardening, designing flower beds, doing concrete work...etc. So I dug up a bunch of bushes in the back yard that he didn't like around their swimming pool...and the planted all the new plants. I think I was 13 years old at the time.

I love my pxg 0211’s got them this year when they did the 2021 update. They are great. And great price. Got 4-pw with upgraded shaft for under 1k. Can’t beat them right now

I have the Dunlop Solution 60 degree wedge which I bought here in New Zealand and you guessed right, it came from Kmart - a very easy club to use with that huge bounce (I have moved on from it now to a Cleveland RTX). I look forward to your posts each day and watch jealously the cheap prices for used clubs in ths US, here prices seem to stay fairly high even for older clubs

Thing is all the stacked golf videos I've seen prove that PXG is a waste of money. In fact you show for a beginner it's worth getting thrift clubs until you develop your swing by practice and lessons. Once done and when ready you can get a fitting and spend as much or little as you want and as long as the fitting is about getting the best for your swing and not money spent you can be good with some second hand or brand new clubs.
But it's all about how much your willing to spend and willing to dedicate to your game. Fundamentally I've found that just enjoying the beautiful game is what its about. And enjoying the landscape the courses show as well. It's a good place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of life. And getting that one swing like Tiger of course 🤣😂😊.
Or you might find you like them and the deals are good value so if you want fitted it's a good way to go - after years of trading up on ebay I have a nice bag of clubs that I can move on for a profit to offset the order I have just put in... My world's are colliding and hope I have made a good decision
Might still buy dirty good clubs on ebay then resell for an interest it's amazing what people pass over, I got a TM MG 52 black wedge for £20/$25 cos the photos showed mud in the grooves

i think those taylormade tour cleek's are still worth something. I loved my persimmon kept going back to it after getting metal drivers that I couldn't hit as well. I would tee it up high and up a little like just off the big toe, practice with it and you will hit your new driver dead centre every time

PXG clubs are awesome. Just did a demo day and tried a bunch. Just make sure you get fitting so you get the right sizing and adjustments for you. Made in USA.

The PXG’s are forgiving, nice buy. I have a PXG driver with a flex shaft which my son made for me, not bad. Stay safe…🤙🏼
PXG 0311, Calloway Apex, Cobra Radspeed, JPX 920 Hotmetal, Honma TWX, I'm ready to see which one is most consistent for game improvement. Some offer offer more control which is not my objective as I need to hit consistently straight. That rules out Ping G and Taylormade Sim 2 Max.
Wow you guys are literally out there everyday finding deals. How are you finding Dry Weather here in Florida? In the Orlando area we have been WET, WET and MORE WET, almost everyday for like 2 weeks now.
I purchased a brand new Orlimar wedge set (52 56 60) for $60 on eBay. I’ve owned Vokey, Cleveland & Callaway forged wedges and these Orlimar wedges have the same feel, quality and performance as the expensive ones.
Lol, "It's like the forged blades of woods". Hahaha, That's a perfect description of the original WOODS.

I know this is a year old video but every time I hear about PXG the reason behind the 0311 (oh 3 11) 0311 is Infantry MOS ( military occupation speciality) in the Marine Corps the founder of PXG served it Vietnam as a 0311 with the 1 Battalion 26th division that’s why it’s marked that way same with 26 being on clubs just a cool fact! Bob Parsons does a lot for veterans and active duty he’s very cool great video!

Use pxg irons gen2 they are unbelievable but my wedges are callaway x forged and the new bettinardi wedge which is 56 but gets very high flight with no distance loss. Love your videos my dad lives in Sebastian I am ft Lauderdale will have to play one day.!

When we went to play on Father's Day there was a guy hitting a wood club at the driving range. When I turned in the cart the club was in the trash can. It looked like it exploded.

Guys, do your research The first bag of clubs in the Goodwill had some wonderful looking old persimmon woods that would be the grail for collectors. You are missing out on a collectors market because you don't know your stuff.
I’ve been playing a full set of PXG’s for over a year now and have loved them. That 54 degree wedge you picked up is the same one I have and its pure gold for me. Great feel and spin and consistent distance.
Love the content, been watching for over a year now don’t miss a video, was wondering if you have any recommendations for some irons for my dad, hes 55 now just has shoulder surgery and getting back on the course he’s got a much slowed down swing now and am looking for something easy for him to hit that he can get off the ground and have good forgiveness, o got him a adams 3 hybrid and he loves it proably his favorite club, any recommendations would be great thanks
