You guys freaking rock.....cant wait for this album. If it gets dark, cold and rains Friday in Vegas. I'll know 1349 is responsible.....fingers crossed
We are living in such a great time. I mean even record labels themselves are putting out entire records pre-release date for free streaming. Back in the day I wouldn't even dare imagine such a thing.
There are people who compares Frost, Hellhammer, Nicholas Barker, Carl Michael "Czral" Eide, Nils "Dominator", Trym, Horgh etc to drummers of Mgla and Batushka.....there are people who confuse black metal and real metal with lame post black(white)and generic slavic drama metal.....there are people who compare Norway's and Sweden's darkness, originality, quality creativity and taste with Poland's slavic melodrama...NOT IN THE SAME LEAGUE.....Mgla or Batushka couldnt even touch what for example Darkthrone or Mayhem did even only in early years 1991-1994...there are few good Polish extreme bands but these are not Mgla and Batushka for sure....for example behemoth are enough good. .or MordaStigmata and some others whom i can't recall names at moment.
@@Easun36 you don't even know what black metal and dark and negative music is. Behemoth's music is dark for real even if it's not the darkest but Batushka's is uplifting. What have to do if someone is becoming poser or do it in a more mainstream way? Dark music not knows boundaries. Cradle of Filth for example are darker than many "pure" black bands. Dusk and Her Embrace, Cruelty and the Beast, Principle of Evil Made Flesh for example although they have a more mainstream "clothes" in reality they are really negative in their core. Way darker and more negative than anything Batushka or Mgla has.
@@Easun36 you started this music through its hipster wave. The same kind of listener as these guys that said once in 1999 when Dodheimsgard released "666 International" that they became posers who sellout themselves..while may there are not even 5 albums darker and deeper than this insanity..
I was never really able to get into this band before but now it hits me. Liberation, Hellfire and this one are really good albums. I appreciate the mix of technicality and brutality in an authentic (Norwegian!) black metal setting. Inspiring
Holy shit!!!! Just as incredible as I imagined. We are so excited and honored to be opening for these guys on November 13th at come and take it live in Austin!!!
@@lv2fishrn971 I was there with my 14 year old and I couldn't believe how nice and respectful the bm crowd was. Way better than the deathcore/metalcore crowd that gets drunk and beats the shit out of one another at concerts...
I saw them in Austin and spoke with S outside of their bus in the back of Come and Take it Live. He gave me a pick from his pocket and we spoke for like over an hour. These guys are friggin’ humble as all hell. They want to have a sit down QnA with me over Advertising and promotion when they come back. S said that if I’m ever there alone and am being mugged then I need to bang on the door of their bus for help. They would let me in and have me hosted afterwards. They love their fans and are obviously protective of their female fans who come to see them all alone. ~ Rachel
@@JohnDiabol I enjoyed the actual metal of Demonoir and MCoC had some great songs, only heard a few from this so far but it's got my attention and has the energy I look for from 1349. Nothing can top Liberation for me though.
Agreed.....These first singles and video are any indication of the rest of the album....then this will definitely be my 1349 go to album, cause I'm loving what I've heard. To the label thank you, I'll be playing this nonstop till Friday and then hitting the record store to purchase. Respect to 1349

14:26 I have a feeling that I've heard something similar elsewhere ... Death maybe? anyway, fantastic new album, although my absolute favorite is Hellfire and that wont't change, I guess ...

Will the Q&A be after the album listening? Just trying to plan ahead cause it's the middle of the night in Australia :D
The band won't be joining, but we are present to answer any questions.
Season of Mist Oh ok, thanks for letting me know. FYI it says Q&A with the band on Instagram

If somebody loves the record, he will buy it anyway! Best music community, metal! 🤘🏻🖤
And some still complain!
@heavymetalrobb hey brother, what is torrent?
Can someone tell me what torrent is that heavy metal Rob mentions below?
@@antonipnowak I'm buying this album tomorrow for sure! I may end up getting both digital and physical copies for this one, It is amazing.
Insane guitaring.
Absolutely loving this album. Frost and the boys strike again!
Fantastic album. Frost proves who is the king behind the drums. This is my favorite record in 2019!
The king behind the drums is Darkside from Mgla
I will be that guy and say Martin from the first Batushka album was insane.

Bet you can't make it to 2000.

It's really hard for me to appreciate Liberation, except for the Mayhem cover which is amazing.
I havent heard an amazing BM record such this while for a while, if i should define it in just one word: flawless
1349 are my favorite Black Metal Band by far! Perfect vocals....love you guys!!!!
Its great, drowning the light is too
One word: MASTERPIECE

Good luck!!!
Best of luck!
Thank you both!!!!
@BRETT WHITE Chevelle still exists? :O
Was at their concert a few months back. UADA and Cloak opened up for em... The opening acts were as good as 1349.
Hands down one of the best albums of 2019.
And taxes
I agree ! "So does my boyfriend Edouard Leenaert Who is a "top" musicien !
OMFG!!!!
What a hell of album 1349 🔥
Norge black metal, gggooooood!!!!!!
My favorite Black Metal band definitely... HAILZ from Florida USA🤘🖤
Are you safe ?
I hear early Slayer all over the opening track. Those tempo drops from crazy fast into heavy locked in riffing sections.
yeah, but this is better than Slayer tbh
@Armoured Rat i hear ya, but newer slayer sounds like every song is the same riff man.
Slayer sucks
Hail 1349 and Hail Frost, the legendary bm drummer.
So much has happened and im only 7 minutes into the album
Great Band ! Old School !
Best black metal band
Never expected much from 1349, but this is very good.
14:26 ----> proper Schuldiner-ism.
Similar riff to the one about a minute and a half into Trapped In A Corner on Death's Individual Thought Patterns
I’m hearing more ‘voice of the soul’.
Hail from Brazil!
Just saw these guy's in Boston last night. Holy shit. What a brutal set. Never seen anything so fast. Don't miss this tour.
I was there. Cloak and UADA were lit as well.

Super vibrant and dynamic, very elaborate and well executed melodies... One of the year´s top albums¡¡¡¡
Wow Feeling the energy coming from this album!
Ultimate energy is Thy word my friend. Glad you enjoy 666
The return to eighties thrash headbanging
As I expect from them, this album better than the last one, amazing songs hail 1349
Striding the Chasm is the best !
1349 is AURAL HELLFIRE. Been looking forward to this since MCoC.
An impressive release to say the least. Much more appealing to me than the majority of stuff they have released since Hellfire.

Great Stakkato Riffs whith very cool blast drumming ! Great Album!
The main riff on Deeper Still is so fucking good. The highlight of the album. Less thrashy more black.
