hello friends :3 i finally cut my hair after 3 long years of not doing anything to my hair. i cut my hair at 7 pm on monday after i finished my classes bc it was time to have some change in my life. after i cut it i kept it a secret for two days bc i wanted to surprise y'all with a video on wednesday (today)! i even put tied my hair into a bun just in case i ran into any of y'all at school ;) i also had to hold myself back from liking y'alls tweets or responding bc i didn't wanna give hints!!! it was a difficult time but thanks for participating and making this an exciting time :'') i felt loved skskskskk
i feel like i haven't talked about myself in a while and everything has just been about college, so i hope you enjoy watching this video :')
while i loved having long hair, it did physically become an inconvenient length. my neck sometimes would hurt bc i'd have to keep pulling it from of my backpack straps or clothes, and showering was a HASSLE. i also thought it would be healthier for my hair if it was cut :) my hair will grow back one day! so don't worry! change is good sometimes~

u should take more care of it then! massage a little bit of hair oil into your scalp every other night, eat good, think positive, use hair masks 2 times a week, use conditioner, don't wash your hair too often

This whole entire video is exactly how I feel about my hair. I have the same exact length of hair. It’s usually pretty curly after I shower but it has gotten so long that it is mostly straight and fluffy with lots a dead/split ends. I really want to cut my hair but I’ve been growing it for almost 3 years and I feel like I can’t stop now and that all of those years of growing my hair would be wasted. My head hurts when I tie my hair up and I can’t do much with it. I really love doing double French braids and many people call it my signature hairstyle. When I cut my hair it gets layered and it gets pretty hard to braid my hair when it is short. Lots of people know me for super,long, thick hair and I feel like an important part of me would be gone. I also play sports so my hair is not easy to manage because I always have to braid it when I play. I hate showering because I have to clean my hair every time and I use so much conditioner. I know it’s just hair and it will grow back but it’s really an important part of who I am. I really want to cut it but I’m super nervous that it would be the wrong decision. It’s also summer so cutting my hair would make swimming and doing other stuff easier and going into high school I feel like I need to clean up my hair. I also use my hair as a conversation starter when people come up to me and ask about it. I feel like my hair is what makes me stand out so idk. Ok I’m done ranting and complaining. my hair goes past my bum and i always think about donating it but i like that when i put it in a ponytail it still goes to my hips and i like that it has an ombre affect from brown to a lighter brown because when i was younger i had really blond hair and it grew darker i know it grows back and it's not a big deal but my hair has always been my safety net i hide behind it like it's a shield

You're so lucky to have such long hair.. my hair is almost down to my tailbone, i'm soo close to reaching my dream length, and now I have to cut it all off because it's so thin on the ends. I lost so much hair due to stress and now it has to go back to shoulder length.. luckily not a strand falls off anymore after treatment but it's so upsetting :(
