As per Ayurveda, we use in our family Castor oil will be used during warm months and Coconut Oil in Cool months. We soak fenugreek seeds overnight and blend it next morning and apply it as a hair pack. We never use hair shampoos instead of that we wash our hair with Soapnuts(3) soaked overnight in a mug, just squeeze it you will see lather (natural shampoo). Finally, dry the wet hair with smoke coming from Sambrani incense (Benzoin Resin) in a Sambrani holder. That is why Indian women never experience any hair problems even in their old age.
I don't know about hair, but I do know from own experience and also from my friend's experience that if you put castor oil on your eyelashes ( with clean mascara brush) every single evening before bed and leave it on, in around 1 month time your eyelashes will become really long and beautiful and will look like false eyelashes, as they will be so long.

Yes!!! I can confirm this. I filled a little tube with castor oil and a few rosemary leaves and after curling my eyelashes, I put It on almost everyday instead of mascara and my lashes have grown a lot!! I don't think they look fuller coz well genetics, I don't have a lot of hair in my body, but lenght, yes!
I sleep really late like average 4am for a whole year, and now I have intense hair loss and I’m crying😭😭I’m used to being praised by having thick and shiny hair but now it’s just thin and grassy hair😭😭SLEEP EARLY LADIES!!
It definitely made a difference! Thanks for spending so much of your free time to do this experiment for us. I’m going to share this video with my friend who has thinning hair.
Am indian, and I use home made castor oil for growth and to maintain dark hair, so before applying warm it up a bit along with coconut oil it makes huge difference.
I think putting that much castor oil on the hair and scalp is a bit much becouse how thick and viscous castor oil is and how hard it is to remove it. I just use a drop in a bottle with water and conditioner, shake it very well and pour it on my hair, after I used shampoo. Then I rinse with water and the results are amazingly moisturized, shiny hair and my scalp feels sooo good! But only use castor oil if you have dry scalp and hair! It worked wonders for my hair, nothing could keep it moisturized, I am so amazed!
Thank you so much for being so thorough and raw in your experiment and experience! I've experienced hair loss and have been looking for the most effective way to grow thicker hair.
I use castor oil most of the times mixed with another solution of oils that I created. Agree your hair looks to have volume after 30 days if all is equal. Great 👍 job hair needs the right oil combination #teamcastoroil. Castor oil has to be used once or twice maximum per week, applied in scalp, middle and ends and comb. And it's preferable not keep it overnight, just 2 hours minimum before washing. And because its too thick oil you can mix it with almond oil which is lighter. The parts has to be 1:2. 1 part castor and 2 parts almond. They also have to be cold pressed. And optional be heated some minutes before applying.

If your hair is thin, it's probably because the oil is heavy and weighs down your hair. You can definitely try aloe vera like another person commented. It has water like consistency and very light. When I used it on my brows they grew very fast. Onion juice is also great for hair growth but has a smell if you can tolerate. If you mix aloe vera with castor oil it also helps lighten the consistency. Hope this helps!

I was born with a very fine hair up till now in my 60s. Came to know recently that mixed castor & coconut oil is effective. Could you please recommend a reliable shop here in Makati selling pure and organic castor oil? And if there are no adverse effects. How often should I use it especially if mixed with pure & organic coconut oil? Proper ratio? Grateful for your help.🙏
Be careful with adding oils that have carbon chains between 11 and 24 to your scalp since it feeds malassezia. You could have a malassezia inbalance that is causing your scalp to have dandruff and thus inflame the cuticles that caused your hair to thin.
Day 33 certainly looks thicker & healthier, as well as more bounce which I'm putting down to the increase in thickness. Well done! Your eyebrows also look thicker/fuller.
It really helps on my lashes! I have super thin hair and lashes. The castor oil didn't make my lashes thicker or longer necessarily, just healthier so when I put on mascara they look so much better. I was experimenting with expensive serums over the years but it just wasn't worth the $. Castor oil wins! Thanks for this video. It has inspired me to try castor oil on the roots again!
After 30 days you will only see slight difference. Changes that are more visible apper after 3-4 months. I would love to see an update if you decides to keep using it. Jennifer Myers on yt has good content on castor oil if you're interested (she uses it on her eyelashes though). 😊
If you are a born blondie like me, user be aware. Jamaican castor is a wonderful product but...it will definitely darken your hair. The Jamaican type of castor oil has the most wood ash in it, which is the ingredient difference from other castor oils, and the reason behind it being the most effective.
Hi, like your video and I would like to ask you some questions: 1- Do you think that caster oil would work on bald men? 2- Do you apply it in the morning or in the evening? And which one should be better? Maybe by applying before going to bed the pillow or towel would absorb the oil, maybe in the morning is better? 3- How long do you massage your scalp for after applying the castor oil? 4- Don't you think that your scalp looks shinier because you applied a oil on it? Thank you very much. I am looking forward to hear from you. Damien 😀
thank for the info, i will try it on my hair, on what i have left on my head...i should say lol, i hope i get some good result, love your videos..someone told me about castor oil but never did any research on it..looking forward for the next update
Thanks, your hair looks a little thicker and more fuller afterwards. My best trick is to leave your hair between washes for as long as you can. Natures conditioner. Good luck with the castor oil let’s us know how you get on.
Tina, you should also wash your hair with castor oil shampoo. My hair is super thin like yours and I’ve only been using both oil and shampoo about a week and it’s helped a lot with volume! OR!!!! Just put some hibiscus water and some petals in head and shoulders. I used that before the castor oil and it made a huge difference!!!!
Keep at it, it usually takes 3 months to see a good effect. But your hair dies have more life to it already. If you heat the oil in a microwave it is easier to apply and massage into your scalp.
Thin hair is a type of hair, is genetic. And thick hair is genetic also. Thinning of hair or bald patches are a different thing. For sure using products containing sylicones and derivated, SLS, peg, edta, propylene glycolic products make skin and hair react as oily or itchy depending on the hair and skin type....also washing hair too often and using tools and heat is dangerous. All the rest just check your health.
@@orangefox5121 sylicones and its derivatives has a specific behaviour both on skin and hair.is a non organic compound not absorbable creating like a coat of synthetic matter on both skin and hair.this coat looks shiny for a bit ,that's why silicones are the base of cosmetics, because of that fast effect, also vaseline, the same thing, that's why are used also in dermatology as coatings pomades. Nothing breaths or penetrates with silicones. The effects are various but for sure can't nourish or nothing and can't let pass any other nutrients in the product. It also can stimulate sebaceous glands and be comedogenic. I repeat, everybvloves it because is a quick fix shiny coat over.
A small tip : castor oil gives u cold and for people who suffer from sinusitis may notice a flare up so it is better to leave the oil for 30min to 1 hour max
Tips: use a non silicone non sulfate shampoo get satin pillowcases sleeps with a loose satin scrunchie in don’t wash your hair every day and if you can don’t get Cotten bedding or harsh fabrics 😊
Hello Tina your hair after look so Healthy and shiny and i will recommend you to try Argan oil and try to have shampoo that Free sulfate and parapen i mean Organic Shampoo and Conditioner for have healthy hair inside and outside not just for outside and yeah Have a nice day 🙏🏻
Tina please do check your hormone levels. is there any medication you take that has testosterone in it ? A lot of protein supplements have testosterone. Maybe you are taking some protein supplement for your health. testosterone is a male hormone and some people get "Male pattern" baldness becs of it. when you oiled your hair and pulled it all backwards there is a significant bald patch on both sides of ur scalp. Do check with a Endocrinologist and either reduce the intake or stop the use completely. Castor oil might help but id highly recommend you Fenugreek and hibiscus combination for more fuller scalp. take abt 50 gms of fenugreek seeds. soak them overnight. If you are in a warm city where Hibiscus plant grows easily and you can find fresh flowers easily get about 15 red flowers. if not you do get hibiscus flower powder online. you will need 50 gms of hibiscus flower powder. grind these 2 ingredients to a slurry like consistency and massage this on your scalp 2-3 times a week. if possible leave it overnite or atleast for 2-3 hours. if you do this regularly you will see a lot of new hair growth in about 2 months time. you may also add castor oil to this mixture. trust me. try this and in 3 months time you will have a fuller scalp. and yes H & S is the worst shampoo you can use. a natural shampoo is equal parts rice powder, mung bean powder and chickpea powder added to half part shikakai and half part Reetha powder. mix all these powder in an airtight container. to use as shampoo, take about 200 ml water add a heaped teaspoon of this powder and cook it on a slow flame for about 3-4 mins. let it cool down. use this as shampoo. no need of any conditioner after this.
The reason why your hair gets oily so quickly is because your using head and shoulders which has sulfates that strips too much of your hairs natural oil. This causes your scalp to over produce oil to counter act your overly striped scalp. Washing your hair everyday will also cause this. If you switch to a shampoo that doesn't have sulfates (and yes their are sulfate free shampoos that DO lather) and slowly start lengthing the time between washes, your hair will release much less oil. Trust me it's worth it. I can go a week without washing my hair without it getting super greasy like you were showing.
I recommend you getting a boar bristle brush. Besides distributing your scalp oils it also gets your babies to stick to the others and make your hairstyle look more clean
If you have naturally dry hair, you don't want to use any shampoo that's 'medicated' like H&S is because your hair is already weak and probably can't handle it. I'd recommend a good biotin-based shampoo and conditioner as well as a protein treatment every now and again. It probably did grow, but not because of the castor oil specifically but because you were oiling and moisturizing it regularly which it needed.
I use 2 tbs castor oil, 1bs olive oil & 1tbs mustard oil or coconut oil with BHRINGRAJ juice (which is Indian herbs for extremely hair growth) nd ginger juice...i live it on my scalp for 2hrs before shampooing....nd the result is amazing 🤩💕
I see the Improvements. You could benefit from Onion juice. Treatments to your scalp to remove that build up,. If you hate onions try Vicks vapor rub in with the castor oil. Steep with a bonnet or shower cap for a hour and cleanse with your favorite cleanser or conditioner.
i used to had long hair until i cut it too short 4 months ago :,( . since 2 months i have always put castor oil in my hair twice a week and i have also seen huge differences. I had cut short thai-cut 4 months ago but now my hair has grown 3-4 inces longer . i noticed that putting castor oil can really help your hair to grow 2x faster. and yeah! i only used castor oil not even hair serum or conditioner to get this result :) i hope i can get my long hair back again . hehe.....
If you use Shea Moisture or Mielle hair products, fermented rice water, and real Aloe Vera, do the enversion method 3 to 4 times a week your hair will grow healthy, long, thick, and strong. After you shampoo, conditions, then put the fermented rice water on your hair for 30 minutes then rinse out. Use your deep condition after, then rinse out then you apply your African Black Castor oil. I put the real Aloe Vera on my hair the day before wash day and leave it in overnight. It may seem a lot to do but try it out. This is what I do
Very nice! I use castor oil occasionally, other times I use argan oil, i want to try jojoba because it's supposed to be the most similar to sebum that the scalp produces.
Reading all the comments on head and shoulders being incredibly bad for you has me confused because I use it all the time and my hair has grown from my shoulders to the top of my waist in 8 months, it’s pretty thick as well.
have u tried gelatin or glycerin on your scalp or face glycerin - liquid face lift, great any place on body. auto mechanics use it to prevent grease and dirt from sticking to their skin, wash grease off with hand soap. 3-day moisturizer. gelatin - pure protein. mix a small amount with water then heat water to dissolve gelatin by stirring. next put this in a spray bottle and use like hair spray. lasts for days. warning - not waterproof, but lasts and lasts. Walmart - get unflavored gelatin powder next to Jell-o.
I was reading about castor oil for hair growth. Cold pressed organic castor oil is better than the black castor oil because the process of retrieving the black castor oil is heat.
Try rice water for a month, I guarantee u it’ll be twice the difference or maybe even three times if you use it correctly and everyday ( with a proper shampoo that’s organic)
I definitely see a difference in volume in the after! Thanks for doing this thorough review :) I’m afraid of getting pimples because I have before with castor oil, but not sure what type exactly it was
You have to switch shampoos every 2-3 months. U can look up the reasons, but I recommend u switch between very natural shampoos as it’s essential for hair health and growth
My hair used to be silky, healthy and thick but i started having excessive hair fall this March and idk why if it bcoz I've gone through diet the month of November to January last year and they said dieting has hair fall side effects but I stopped dieting after Jan, and my hair fall only started this March so IDK if it was really the case but I am worried sick bcoz my hair started to get real thin and I did onion juice and applied it to my hair for a month now but it doesn't seem to work 😩
Even I've gone through this situation .. Its really heartbreaking .. !! I tried everything . everything .. Nothing helped me out .. And at last .. I stopped using shampoo and conditio .. Instead used some herbal plants .. And gooseberry.... It really helped me 😁😁 and results are amazing !!
What exactly kind of herbal shampoo are you using? I started to avoid using too much shampoo too and plan to use organic one but idk if it will be enough to lessen my hair fall. Did you grew back some new hair?
Ok .. So we first of all U need some soapnuts , these are used as natural shampoo .. !! And then some Acacia concinna, amd gooseberries.. These herbals are best for conditioning your hair .. !! There are some videos on youtube , u can learn the method from there .. . !!
Advice from an Indian for free :) Try balayam a kind of yoga Tyaga organic oil +Castor oil Head stand or similar exercise. Include amla+almonds in morning empty stomach.
try using a natural shampoo or you can even rinse your hair with water this will help with the dryness of your scalp washing your hair too much takes the oil away if your hair produces alot of oil then washing it more will only make it more oily. also i stopped using head and shoulders for my dandruff bc it was making the dryness, itchiness, dandruff and increase of oily hair.

Day 33 certainly looks thicker & healthier, as well as more bounce which I'm putting down to the increase in thickness. Well done! Your eyebrows also look thicker/fuller.
Im using Onions juice Twice daily...it helps your hairfall..
And also you can use gheeblend on your hair
It really helps on my lashes! I have super thin hair and lashes. The castor oil didn't make my lashes thicker or longer necessarily, just healthier so when I put on mascara they look so much better.
I was experimenting with expensive serums over the years but it just wasn't worth the $. Castor oil wins!
Thanks for this video. It has inspired me to try castor oil on the roots again!
Thanks for sharing! It's cool to know castor oil won 😃
I’m still in shock Amazon has an inexpensive magnifying device for hair
After 30 days you will only see slight difference. Changes that are more visible apper after 3-4 months. I would love to see an update if you decides to keep using it. Jennifer Myers on yt has good content on castor oil if you're interested (she uses it on her eyelashes though). 😊
If you are a born blondie like me, user be aware. Jamaican castor is a wonderful product but...it will definitely darken your hair. The Jamaican type of castor oil has the most wood ash in it, which is the ingredient difference from other castor oils, and the reason behind it being the most effective.
Hi, like your video and I would like to ask you some questions:
1- Do you think that caster oil would work on bald men?
2- Do you apply it in the morning or in the evening? And which one should be better? Maybe by applying before going to bed the pillow or towel would absorb the oil, maybe in the morning is better?
3- How long do you massage your scalp for after applying the castor oil?
4- Don't you think that your scalp looks shinier because you applied a oil on it?
Thank you very much.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
Damien 😀
Try it apply at night time, sleep on a satin pillow. Use organic 100% castor oil make sure ingredient is only castor oil from seeds
@@seemorehomegoods ok, thank you very much 😀
thank for the info, i will try it on my hair, on what i have left on my head...i should say lol, i hope i get some good result, love your videos..someone told me about castor oil but never did any research on it..looking forward for the next update
Glad it was helpful Michael, good luck!
Also do derma rolling and use Hask hair thicking shampoo
You should consider getting layers if you’re looking for volume!! It helped me so much maybe a wolfcit or something similar?
I am trying it tonight. I will check in with the results. You an I have the same type of hair. I saw the difference. I'm excited!
You deserve more subs!!!
Aww thank you Diana 🥰
My hair is down to my butt now and I've been using loreal for past couple years. I like the dream lengths collection it has castor oil in it I think.
I may be weird for thinking the new baby scalp hairs was satisfying to look at lol
Keep at it, it usually takes 3 months to see a good effect. But your hair dies have more life to it already. If you heat the oil in a microwave it is easier to apply and massage into your scalp.
I see a tremendous difference in length and thickness! Try doing it for a year it’ll probably change ur hair 100%.
Not true either for sls or silicones. It is individual and depends on the user
Bullshit
Tips: use a non silicone non sulfate shampoo get satin pillowcases sleeps with a loose satin scrunchie in don’t wash your hair every day and if you can don’t get Cotten bedding or harsh fabrics 😊
I just got all the ingredients from Amazon for the first treatment you showed. I hope it works ! I am trying Gya Labs Castor Oil now.
We need an update! Have you continued to use castor oil in your hair? If so, what's the ongoing experience been like?
An inch of growth in only One month is Quite a LOT.
I’m watching this now because my baby hairs stick out like crazy. When I wear a bun or ponytail that baby hair looks like devil horns
I recommend you getting a boar bristle brush. Besides distributing your scalp oils it also gets your babies to stick to the others and make your hairstyle look more clean
Same
Same here! I cut it yesterday. Now I look balding:/
At first I thought you meant, your baby’s hair
Dixie you can try applying aloe gel
The youtuber I needed in my life 💗 love that you try to be as objective as possible
i used to had long hair until i cut it too short 4 months ago :,( . since 2 months i have always put castor oil in my hair twice a week and i have also seen huge differences. I had cut short thai-cut 4 months ago but now my hair has grown 3-4 inces longer . i noticed that putting castor oil can really help your hair to grow 2x faster. and yeah! i only used castor oil not even hair serum or conditioner to get this result :) i hope i can get my long hair back again . hehe.....
I'm having the same exact formation of hair loss. And receding hairline. Extremely self conscious. I hope things have worked out for you. 🖤
I recommend to use a sulfate free shampoo and using a silicone free conditioner
I must say your hairs are really very beautiful...I love those straight hairs
her hair looks good. Usually hair grows 1/2 an inch a month so looks like castor oil worked for her if her hair grew an inch after a month.
Is it Only my who is suffering from hairfall after applying castor oil?
I grew my eye brows from castor oil.. I had literally none.. When i was growing up I made my own Eyebrows
Your video inspired me to try this. The conditioning properties alone probably make it a good idea. I think your hair is cute! 😍
Reading all the comments on head and shoulders being incredibly bad for you has me confused because I use it all the time and my hair has grown from my shoulders to the top of my waist in 8 months, it’s pretty thick as well.
Your hair definitely looked thicker on day 33. Awesome results
It works a lot better if you drink about a ml a day
It can cause an upset stomach in some people but it doesn’t bother me
Very detail!! Thanks a lot for the magnifying to show how it works!!
When I was a lot younger I tried castor oil on my eyelashes and it worked ! They grew thicker and longer.
How much younger?Age?
@@rajeshraut2955 I was in my twenties however I believe it would work just as well now I simply don't bother any more.
Castor oil+peppermint oil+virgin coconut oil+rosemary oil.. massage head before going to sleep. Wash in the morning.
have u tried gelatin or glycerin on your scalp or face
glycerin - liquid face lift, great any place on body. auto mechanics use it to prevent grease and dirt from sticking to their skin, wash grease off with hand soap.
Omg!! I’m doing it!
Try rice water for a month, I guarantee u it’ll be twice the difference or maybe even three times if you use it correctly and everyday ( with a proper shampoo that’s organic)
Hey please guide how to use it
@@ritakushvaha5453 hey there are a million videos on how to make and use rice water on youtube but watch the one by Debbie Williams
I definitely see a difference in volume in the after! Thanks for doing this thorough review :) I’m afraid of getting pimples because I have before with castor oil, but not sure what type exactly it was
@Tina Tomato
I wish to give you a small tip, that while your combing your hair don't comb backwards because it will make you get bald.
Thanks Anjana, I wonder why combing backwards will make one bald ... combing the hair forward just doesn't feel right 😂
You have to switch shampoos every 2-3 months. U can look up the reasons, but I recommend u switch between very natural shampoos as it’s essential for hair health and growth
I love the contents of this video. Over the last few months my hair needs more nourishment. I will diffident try this treatment.
I stopped using conditioner so much just use about a teaspoon on the tips once a week. My hair is doing much better
!! There are some videos on youtube , u can learn the method from there .. . !!
Yes , it helped me growing new hair .. Also it stopped hairfall !!
@@divyaMguragai14 wow that's amazing. Thanks a lot I will check it out 😊
Advice from an Indian for free :)
Try balayam a kind of yoga
Tyaga organic oil +Castor oil
Head stand or similar exercise.
Include amla+almonds in morning empty stomach.
Try to cover your hair with a plastic cap for deeper moister, it works for me.
Try collagen peptides supplement! Helped me with my alopecia
try using a natural shampoo or you can even rinse your hair with water this will help with the dryness of your scalp washing your hair too much takes the oil away if your hair produces alot of oil then washing it more will only make it more oily. also i stopped using head and shoulders for my dandruff bc it was making the dryness, itchiness, dandruff and increase of oily hair.
My hair is soo thin but during lockdown I can't find Castor oil_😣😞
