Well done guys! Chris is amazing!🙋🏽♂️ The Ferrari is nice, but that Panamera Turbo, boy Oh-Boy is a monster. I got a chance to test drive one. I think it was a 2018 or a 2019 Panamera Turbo. When I was at my Porsche Dealer ordering my Panamera GTS, I got a chance to test drive that Turbo, but it wasn't a Gran Turismo. It was a regular Panamera! That thing pulls like a rocket!
If I had wanted a stationwagon and got the boot in the Lusso, I'd be pissed. It's smaller than in a Golf GTE. Yet it's still a brilliant car and wonderful to live with.
yeah but the Ferrari is MSRPing at around $340k with good options while the Panamera is a $170k car. And the resale on the Lusso will fall off dramatically if you put the kind of miles on it that a daily driver will see while the Panamera will level off with normal mileage so in the end it is mot a simple equation of this vs that value. Now if you buy a 1-2 year old Lusso with 5 or 6k miles and CPO warranty extension, you will do much better on depreciation because the 1-2 year depreciation on mainline Ferrari models is pretty brutal. Having said that, I never buy a car based on what it will be worth in the future.

There’s Ferrari, and there’s also Aston Martin. Those 12s sound more muscular and less shrieking. BUT, a Ferrari 12 is the stuff of living legend and for good reason. The most outrageous car I’ve ever heard with my own ears in person was, believe it or not, an Audi. Here in Charleston, SC, for some odd reason, I’ll often see cars driving around which are highly praised on car shows, and it blows my mind every time. There are several McLarens, R8s, 430s, 512s, 612s, Murci’s, Gallardos, Model S and X are everywhere and have been since about 2013, so my ears are experienced. The car with the most outrageous sound was an Audi RS7, and it was getting on our majestic Ravenel Bridge, about 1.5 miles long and four lanes wide.I wasn’t even on the bridge yet, and I would have sworn an F1 car had snuck on it the street. An Audi RS7, and it was blasting through traffic like laws didn’t exist, and it sounded like a freaking F1. Unreal.
That Panamera (and I can't believe I'm actually about to say this) looks fantastic. They should've been built as an estate from day 1. Can't beat the sound of the Ferrari though.

Never thought I would ever say that a Panamera looks better than a Ferrari, but the Porsche actually looks really good and the Ferrari not so much. They should have used the Porsche Panamera Turbo S hybrid though.

Fran K The lusso is a nice car and has a cool engine, but it is not daily driveable in terms of reliability. The Porsche has a lot more to give and has even 4 doors. The gtc 4 lusso is a car you buy when you already have a Panamera

The prices of all these things are horrendous in Aus. A 'stock' spec (a silly concept, but you know what I mean) 911 Turbo is $419,000. I'd hate to imagine what a Bentley Conti GT is.

They have one thing every Ferrari and Maserati needs to have fixed off the production line, and that is the battery. For some odd reason, Ferrari uses a completely hopeless FLAMM AGM battery that has the build quality of an Indian apartment complex.

To be fair, the Porsche is about 2x as practical as the Ferrari and is more executive than about performance. A BMW M5 would beat the Ferrari both in a straight line, around a track and the ability to carry friends.

The estate Panamera is saving that car. It went from hideous to a pretty damn good looking car as the Turismo. I love it as well.
