I think the fact TJ got caught for EPO is one of the reasons fans seem so unwilling to forgive or treat it like a one time thing. You don't just start taking EPO, you need to be using it for a few months to get a serious benefit for it.
Its my personal rule that even if youre my favorite fighter, if you miss weight, I root against you for that fight. If you pop for PEDs, I root against you forever.

It is always surprising to me that so many fans refuse to recognize that most fighters (and professional athletes) are using PEDs. The ones that get caught are just that, the ones getting caught. The loss to Jake Paul doesn't hurt his legacy that much because Jake is a much better boxer then he's given credit for, and Anderson at 47 years of age gave Jake (who is almost half Anderson's age) a tough fight. Its not nearly as bad as when Tyron Woodley got flatlined by Paul.

Big rig failed to make weight because the team lack real experts on it, they are college wrestling coaches that build a team around hendricks in terms of combat, and was regularly rehydrating him through IV. Once USADA came in and IV was banned, the man was dead in the water.

Then when training for a fight, they should be held to a specific limit of much weight they are allowed to cut down to their weight class. For example if all year you average around 215, you should not be allowed to cut anymore than 20 lbs a couple weeks before the fight. Problem solved and now it's more fair for everyone

If you can do a properly disciplined weight cut, and are going in against someone who doesn't cut, you have a big leg up. Problem is that cutting weight through dehydration will always be dangerous, and that many guys lack the discipline to do it somewhat safely, leading to the disastrous weight cuts. I have always wished weight cutting wasn't a thing, because it just makes shit way more dangerous, especially when you consider the brain contains a ton of your body's water. I don't know how you could stop it though... even if you weighed guys say 2 hours before a fight, guys would just go more extreme and try to rehydrate on even sketchier time frames... inevitably leading to even more dangerous situations. Only way to accomplish anything close would be to have some kind of maximum walk around weight that you checked on, which would be laborious.

Many of them believed Wandy would become a UFC champion, and some questioned why Rampage was even getting a trilogy fight with Wandy considering what happened in their previous two contests. While almost none of his fights were boring, the fact he didn't win all of them did disappoint some. The KO losses to Rampage and Leben were evident he was long in the tooth.
