I think saying “close decisions can go either way” is a bit of an injustice to Sterling. Majority of people gave him the first round, a lot of people gave him at least one 10-8 round in 2 and 3 and Yan didn’t get the finish. It wasn’t complete dominance for 5 rounds but it was a deserving win, not every close fight is a robbery

I don't think it's "casual" to give it to Yan. I thought Sterling won because you have to favor striking over control time (talking about the first round, of course). The only big shot landed in the 1st was from Yan, which can help to offset some of the differences in total strikes landed The only part I think doesn't really get enough attention is 4 minutes of control time not getting a 10-8 round for Aljo. Kinda odd
There legitimately is no way to think Yan won that fight if you understand how scoring works. There were competitive rounds, but the fight was not difficult to pick Aljo as the winner whatsoever. There is no case for Yan at all.

An honorable mention, imo, is Conor v Nate 2. I don’t think many people expected that Conor would be able to make it passed round 3, let alone win a fight that went to decision. It also showed significant growth on his part, having better defense against Nate, slightly better cardio, and a much better understanding of Nate’s weaknesses. An amazing fight that I think is worthy of at least being in the top 15

It’s funny seeing how many people are confused about the topic of the video, it’s not rematches where the second went different from the first, it’s rematches that went nothing like how fans were expecting it to go

I don't think it's "casual" to give it to Yan. I thought Sterling won because you have to favor striking over control time (talking about the first round, of course). The only big shot landed in the 1st was from Yan, which can help to offset some of the differences in total strikes landed
The only part I think doesn't really get enough attention is 4 minutes of control time not getting a 10-8 round for Aljo. Kinda odd

There legitimately is no way to think Yan won that fight if you understand how scoring works. There were competitive rounds, but the fight was not difficult to pick Aljo as the winner whatsoever. There is no case for Yan at all.

An honorable mention, imo, is Conor v Nate 2. I don’t think many people expected that Conor would be able to make it passed round 3, let alone win a fight that went to decision. It also showed significant growth on his part, having better defense against Nate, slightly better cardio, and a much better understanding of Nate’s weaknesses. An amazing fight that I think is worthy of at least being in the top 15
