As an artist who’s currently learning realism, the head shape and face placement part will come in handy for my digital drawing of the weekend
I'd like to learn that but I have no idea where to start. I'm able to do it but it takes way too long and I'd like to be able to do it in simple steps until it becomes a muscle memory and second nature. But there's so many "tutorials" and it's overwhelming. I really love the tutorial above, she doesn't need 20 minutes to show how she draws one character. It's so simple.

If you have a iPad and procreate give it a try. I used to thing she makes it look easy but she's so good at explaining what she's doing and just doing little things at a time that it is easy

I honestly can't wait to get an iPad, it continually blows my mind as to what they are capable of. I think it will be much easier to do my art with it than it's been on my phone with Samsung Notes.

More like how to make a face with a face profile. Can't do this with a 3/4 view, but still recommend people to work on learning to draw eyes separately before doing a short hand such as this. Still came out pretty cool just always important to work on foundations first
Try seeing everything as a bunch of 3d shapes and learning the proportions
@@anonym4673 I'm an artist I was just giving younger artists some advice. I've actually taken 3 or 4 college art classes and do quite well on my basics. I do appreciate the advice, but I like my gesture draws and working with fluidity to me 3D shapes don't work and are a bit stiff, but to each their own after all doesn't matter as long as it works ^^

I’m new to procreate, and I enjoy the special tools, but I’m pretty dumb with it 😌
For art newbies:
Try seeing a face as a bunch of simple 3d shapes, and maybe try to learn the proportions, this works for drawing almost everything and you‘ll be able to draw from your imagination after some time
My pfp is the first thing I’ve done that’s arty, it would of been nice if I watched you first though because then I would’ve known that there was a mirror thing :/

That tilted lips is giving me goosebumps it’s making me feel disturbed to see everything is in symmetry but the lips which is asymmetric

I find digital art very difficult because I’m used to traditional and the pencils aren’t very texturized correctly and make no sense i can draw in procreate just the brushes really suck
