    WHERE WERE YOU ALL MY LIFE. I just started drawing with more perspective and I’ve honestly been struggling so hard and spending like two hours on just the sketch 💀 this actually helped my understanding of perspective so much thank you 😭

    As someone who has a particularly difficult time learning, I found this video very helpful. The things some of the pros would say would stress me out because they tell you only what to do but not how to see it nor how to connect it to something I already know, but just simplifying the advice to using rubber bands makes it so much easier for me to understand! This is a huge help, I feel less hopeless, and I'll watch more of your advice :)

    I've been on and off trying to draw since I took a couple art classes in hs an eternity ago, and have been getting frustrated with my inability to draw organic things in general, much less in perspective.     I think this video builds up on Sycra’s foreshortening method. Speaking of it, I highly recommend both of these videos when it comes to perspective! Helped me a lot.

    Rubber bands are also known contour lines in art classes and textbooks.

    You are a lot better at just teaching how to do things understandably that most people. It’s amazing, because just by taking notes, I was able to draw in perspective a great deal better that I could before, just by taking notes and drawing myself examples. In one sitting. Your videos are always very informative and easy to understand! I love them, and needless to say, I have subscribed! I will be going through all of your videos one by one so I can learn how to improve my art! Thank you for that!! :D

    One thing that helped me understand the rubber band technique was making a short Animation of the band rotating on a stick around one point

    Is it weird that I prefer the stuttering in the video? It feels like when I do presentations, I stutter every other word as if I’m tryin’ to be a lyrical spiritual individual unintentionally while tryin’ to just explain a concept. Feels genuine.

    I always get so stressed out drawing because I see the finished product that im trying to get and get so stressed out that I just tear up and quit, the rubber band method rlly helped, so did the boxes stacking but im still dumb as shit and can’t look a reference without panicking

    Y'all reminder that you have to learn anatomy first, don't make the same mistake i made💀💀💀 it's rlly important to drawing perspective and will make it alot easier. Plus you can simplify the parts of the body by using shapes for the base to also make it easier. Just make sure you add a little detail to it so it'll make it look more realistic.
